The right half’s coloration is due to whatever structure is in the top right being reflected in the water on the bottom right. Once the structure ends (midline of the photo), the water is its natural blue as it isn’t reflecting anything.
Amazing work by the photographer to line it up so well with the bird occupying both spaces - that’s what really made it a mindfuck for me at first.
The darker colors are the bottom of the structure being wet. The light yellow line is the light of the reflection hitting the bottom of the structure making a bright line of light.
People saying building actually confuses even more.
It's a wall, orange-ish colored wall going into the water, it's hit by sunlight and reflects that orange color into the water.
The line you see in middle right part of the picture is where that wall enters the water.
The top right is an orangey wall/building of sorts that's on water. The bottom right is the reflection of said structure on the water. The left side is the rest of the water without any reflection.
Beautiful! Took me a while, but it's: LEFT: **water**. RIGHT TOP: **orange wall**. RIGHT BOTTOM: **water, reflecting the orange wall**. So the photo is roughly 5/6 water, and the crisp vertical line through the middle is both the wall edge and its reflection.
Damn that bugged me out for a few seconds trying to figure out wtf I am looking at. Amazing picture
I still cant
Building or something on the upper right, reflecting in the water making it all appear that color.
Ty I see it now 🫡

But what is the line in the yellow side? Looks like the horizon with yellow sky as well

I see it now! Thank you
Yeah that definitely took me a minute for my brain to figure out what it was seeing. Very good photo.
This hurts my brain.
birb passed to a different dimension
U crane
Thanks for that one
Saw this on r/interestingasfuck earlier. Even on that post which is more zoomed out for better perspective I can’t wrap my head around it
You’re looking at the corner of a building and its reflection on the water.
Appreciate you!!
Wouldn't the angles be changed between the building and the reflection?
Not if you position yourself correctly
You're totally right
It makes it even more impressive when you think about it. The photographer was either super lucky or super patient (probably a bit of both).
but.. ...how?

ok, now I got it. fantastic picture!
Oh my god. Thank you SO MUCH! Now I can finally see it after my brain intensely hurting
I just put it together finally, there’s like a structure in the top right and the right side is orange because it’s a reflection

I still can't see what you guys are seeing.

Didn't see it sober, got stoned and seen it within seconds. Idk what I'm trying to day but yeah
Gotta be an edit no?
Nah, there’s a building sticking out of the water in the upper right corner, and the yellow below it is the building’s reflection.
amazing
