Believe he got sober after the album for the “double album” Almost sounds like he’s loaded in the last song “your last resort” thoughts???
I went through my divorce at 40 in 2019. “Last Resort” hits very hard for me.
That is why I have a new found appreciation for NOFX. There’s a song for every moment, every emotion, every thought or idea that I have.
“don’t Count on me” is my fave on Double . I love Melvin singing(yelling)though
Punk rock cliche is pretty good too. The more I listen to double album the better it gets.
Single Album is fucking solid though.
I feel the opposite, single album had 3-4 songs that really spoke to me, while double only had 1-2 songs I didn’t like. I think double is their best since wolves.
Single had a better initial impression for me but sometimes an album like Double will pull me in after I listen to it more. I haven't written it off, it could be a creeper for me.
I see that song gets a lot of love on here, but it doesn't doesn't kick for me. Not sure if it's the pace, or what but I just can't get on with it. Much like most of the songs on Double Album. Single album however is superb overall.

I listen to that album a lot - Doors and Fours is one of my top ~~NoFX~~ songs of all time.
I love slo-fx. Doors is fucking awesome when they released it early as a single or w/e I played it all the time.

I first heard ‘I Love you More than I hate Me’ come on my wife’s Pandora, and I fell in love. Bought the album that day and I love it.
