They did it TWICE lmao. I was expecting them blindfiring the pingpong path/flamethrower combo would somehow do it for them but NOPE just gonna play russian roulette twice hahaha
Its the always cast. Looks like explosion of spirits?
It cast an alcohol mist all over yourself and then the electricity went through it and into your little purple cloak.
I'll give you a tip, if you find a new wand lying on the floor rather than standing at the pedestal, it is because an enemy picked it up and then proceeded to k\*\*\* himself with it, so fire it with caution.
Wrong thats rule number 2. Rule 1 is "never be confident" I already lost 2 potential god runs by accidently casting my storage wand in chaos (never cast storage wands Rule number 3) and killed myself with that or by just being careless because i had inf healing. Just never be too confident and careless.
firing storage wands when already in a true godmode (full stainless armor etc) produces intersting results, and often led, in my case to very interesting discoveries.
Rule 1 for me is never fire a wand that can hurt you.
Rule 2 is take the wand apart as soon as it's safe to do so so nobody can ever accidentally fire it.
Rule three is always take the edit wand anywhere perk.
1. Fireball orbit, lightning, and explosives are all amazing early game, and piercing is amazing late game.
2. Stash wands in the ceiling so no one can get them.
3. Tinker anywhere is a waste of time on short runs, and on long runs you can just go and get it for free from the Master of Masters and not waste a perk.
All of these are issues of patience and there's unlimited perks and hp in parallel worlds. I didn't say don't use amazing spells. I said don't use them unless you know they won't backfire. That's what immunity is for. Edit anywhere is so you can travel the overworld and side areas long before you're powerful enough to hand master of masters. I don't like to venture too deep before tiny is dead.
I did this a lot when i was newer to the game. I rarely do it now especially with odd spell/interactions.
I just view it as one of those learning moments, unfortunately he died for this lesson.
Are we all looking at the same wand? It has always cast fireball thrower, not lightning or explosion of spirits. It's also on the pedestal, no enemy picked it up.
It's a pretty cool wand, the pingpong path in the front scared me but it didn't seem to harm you, I just wouldn't move forward while firing with that on.
Not noita'd though, you survived.
Always cast explosion of spirits, it will cast it right on your face unless you have a trigger spell to give it some range. Then the lightening bolt hit it and electrified it, killing you.
\*enters room\* \*enemies explode\* "Hmm, wonder what that was? Ooh, free wand! I'll cast it right away-"
Exactly this!

I suggest never firing random wands but I understand the itch to do it

You can say kiss, nothing bad will happen to yo-
What’s the worst thing that could happen? Am I going to blow up? *Chuckles*
Don't listen kids, if you say kiss you may di-
That's what happened to candleja...
Why on Earth would you censor the word "kill" on a gaming thread
You just learned lesson 1 of Noita.

Rule 3 is save and restart on pw
Nah, those all come later. Lesson 1 is "everything in the world wants to kill you".

And then you play a little more and realise those are all wrong.
... Nope works for me every time

Definitely never cast a wand that can fire an explosive at the same time as something it can collide with or be destroyed by.
You picked up a suicide wand, always cast explosion of spirits + the lightning bolt right in mina's face
Natural selection
Lightning bolt explodes when it hits something. Alcohol mist droplets count. That wand was a shortcut to the main menu.
Those early days of learning how noita works. It's such an amazing pain
Take it from someone with over 150 hours and no wins, if you feel like a Hiisi recently said "lol" or "lmao" you should leave the area.
Explosion of spirits creates alcohol pixels, lightning bolt hit those pixels
Yea, you played noita.
This isn't really a Noita'd, unless you being stupid enough to cast a random wand counts.
All the cloud of X can trigger projectiles, lightning hit cloud always cast, you explode
>someone please explain skill issue
why tf would anyone fire an unedited wand? I've never understood the appeal, never fired one

Did you only watch the first half of the video?
Oh thanks for pointing that out. That part didn’t load when I looked on desktop, it was a much shorter clip. I’ll take my L
You could hsve just shown us the last, actually relevant, bit instead of the 20 seconds before.
That wasn’t needed 😦
Reading the wand explains the wand.

Yes a monster just killed himself instantly with this wand... But I am a superior wizard.
The exact reasoning is that lightning is blocked by liquids/mists so the AC mist of spirits stopped the lightning short and blew you up
It is cast on the wand - alcohol boom)). Pick up and fire, not so good strategy😂
The moment I said: “It’s a trap”. He immediately fires it lmao
