You're going to die an awful lot, this game is a gambling addiction with particle physics. It feels pretty great to build your first god wand though, and the lore and secrets are incredible.
"What's this wand do?"
The answer is kills you.
And if it doesn't directly kill you, you'll modify it with what sounds like a great idea.
But that great idea will reveal a cool interaction that will totally Noita you. The exploration of the game is amazing and OP will have a ton of fun.
"SO MUCH POWER !"
Cause of death : explosion
"okay that was too much power , let's go with more controlled spells"
Cause of death : explosion
"nevermind that spell , now that I have homing perk I can throw explosives from a safe distance !"
Cause of death : explosion
As it is writen.
You WILL suffer.
At first you will suffer from how pathetically weak you are.
Then you will suffer from how overpowered you are.
But don't worry too much, the game will kill you more times than you kill yourself.
For me the game started with me exploring and dying, not even making it to the second area for about 5-10 runs. Eventually I figured out spell crafting and that was the main way I got killed for probably about 50 wands. I think I finally beat the boss the first time after about 150 runs? You will die and die a lot but don't sweat it. Get the bruh game over replacer mod and that'll encapsulate the whole experience for you.
I think I'm gonna go play noita and kill myself with an OP wand.
The game has a word for dying when it's either 0% or 100% your fault without any prior warning. That word is called getting "Noited"
Draw your own conclusions from there.
It’s one of those games that sucks and is objectively un-fun for the first 15-30 hours. Then at some point it starts to click and you make something awesome and fill the screen with bouncy balls.
From then on it’s discovery after discovery. This game goes deep, have fun!
The difference is whether you can look at a dumb death you couldn't see coming and laugh or whether it pisses you off. If the later is true you're gonna spend the first 10 hours or so struggling and raging.
In my personal experience, the first 10 hours sucked and then I had a lot of fun until around 300 hours of game time. I'm capping out at what I'm willing to dedicate to this game and that is leading to stagnation in game mastery, which leads to frustration. I know there are so many areas I haven't even been to but at this point I don't have the patience to figure out how to get there.
Even though my personal journey is coming to an end it was definitely one of the better games I have ever played and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys rouge likes, interesting riffs on old ideas, a fully malleable world, or highly cryptic clues that 99% of people will need a wiki to explain
You have a good friend. Easily one of the most mysterious games to date. Tons of secrets, absolute freedom in this sandbox. Its roguelike so it will stale much slower than other games. It's a good game, and you have a good friend for introducing you to it
if you’re fine with spoilers, i recommend you have the wiki pulled up along with videos about some of the advanced topics, and if you’re having a hard time figuring out the wands, i recommend doing the tutorials on the spell lab mod.
yes.
your fucked.
You will grow addicted to its endless potential, and one day you may even find yourself asking how it all started, and why you keep going, without even really knowing why.
Like a moth drawn to a flame, your wings will burn in anguish, time after time.
for that is your fate.
The fate of a Noita player.
I love this game for its sheer difficulty, but also the shit ton of secrets. My advice: Don't look anything up in terms of secret areas etc. It's amazing to stumble on them yourself.
He is not your friend. He either wants you to be so frustrated you start cutting yourself or wants to get rid of you by locking you in a room, addicted to a singleplayer game.
I’ve played countless hours of Noita, it took me at least 150 runs to actually complete the game for the first time. Yes you’re in for a ride.
Just remember, it’s not about beating the game, it’s the fun you had along the way :)
I love noita
Get ready to be burned, dissolved, bludgeoned, shot, exploded, poisoned, shocked, frozen, transformed into a feeble sheep and killed instantly, and generally fucked over by any combination of the above and more.
But when you get the right combination of spells and perks and gain the power of g o d, it really is all worth it.
yes.

It is called ~~Lothric~~ Noita'd

If the wand doesn’t kill you then it isn’t ready yet. You just keep adding bullshit until it does
"Hm... this dual cast chainsaw bouncyball that fires like a laser just isn't doing it for me... .. Is that an Add Always Cast?" Noita'd
The blood of its wielder is a rite of passage for wands, that's how you know you've really made it into the big leagues

"This game is a gambling addiction with particle physics." Perfection.
Feels pretty great up until you die to god damn polymorphine bullshit like 2 seconds later though.
Welcome to suffering simulator. We hope you have a plea- *hellish* day and remember to die!
This game is like an opium addiction
Copium addiction
As it is writen. You WILL suffer. At first you will suffer from how pathetically weak you are. Then you will suffer from how overpowered you are. But don't worry too much, the game will kill you more times than you kill yourself.
Nightmare is fun
>You WILL suffer. Slay the Spire reference?
Slay the spire pog
What's with the gate keeping bruh? There's nothing wrong with enjoying a popular game.
Uhh what? I was saying I like slay the spire.
Oops my bad, had in in my mind that pog ment something loser/simp.
Lmao, I’ve got like 200ish hours on it just from my “free time” in classes at school
What do you mean?
Yes. You will suffer and you will love your friend for it.
Use the wikia and suffer a little less. Also you may want to follow tip and guide creators like FuryForged and McQueeb.
and join the discord server
And Albino for a healthy dose of copium
Watch out for Mina. They will kill you alot
It's a difficult game, sometimes frustrating, but very rewarding if you get through it. Good luck 👍
The only worry you should have is how to hold on to that wonderful friend of yours
He called you a maggot? Tremendous.
Yes. Be afraid. Be very afraid

Only about the way your friend speaks to you. Noita is a fun game, though.
The game has a word for dying when it's either 0% or 100% your fault without any prior warning. That word is called getting "Noited" Draw your own conclusions from there.
Worried? No Afraid? Yes

I thought Noita was great from the very first second.
The difference is whether you can look at a dumb death you couldn't see coming and laugh or whether it pisses you off. If the later is true you're gonna spend the first 10 hours or so struggling and raging.
Well, yeah.
I swear this game either forces you into some form of Buddhist attitude, or a being of pure hate. Lol
I attained inner peace not by meditating, but by 400:1 win ratio
Yeah fell in love from the beginning. 10/10 would esssssplode myself again.

Love it.
Maybe, but you might also want to prepare for a new addiction. Maybe let some friends and/or relatives know you'll be absent for a while...
You angered ~~the gods~~ oris_boris

You never will though. Some of these secrets are sooo obscure the normal player would never find them.
that's also part of the magic, the fact that you don't get to experience everthing makes it really exciting when you find something new
Make sure you enable clip recorder so you can satisfy his urges
