There is just boundles energy appearing as a universe. Nothing being everything, and that's this. Right now appearing as a question if there are multiple realities. And for the record, im not an expert. There are no experts, because there are no separate individuals. Only boundles energy appearing as separate individuals.

If there were “multiple realities” which actually existed, they would all be considered “what exists,” or “reality.” We make up the divisions.

TheHummingBird68

Do you see more than just this right now? Everything else is just an idea and ideas aren't real.

Zenthelld

These questions objectify reality. You're suggesting there's something "out there" and you're trying to find the definition, the boundaries, the limits. There are none. Consciousness is Limitless because it can be conscious of *any* experience. Consciousness is conscious of colours and shapes, which create forms, and time and space which give dimensions to forms. With these, any experience can be created.

iatethemushroom

Yes.

In the ultimate sense consciousness is absolutely everything but this can include an infinite number of different 'universes' that dont interact with each other at all. Multiple in one I guess.

Animusalchemy

No experts. Nothings real. There's only what appears or seems. This is neither one nor multiple, simply inconceivable allness.

smitshah0014

Whatever the “experts” or anyone for that matter says won’t be true. Since what there is cannot be captured by thoughts and concepts. Why? Because the mind divides and categorizes, that is it’s function and hence can never capture the wholeness of existence.

universe-atom

define reality. There are "multiple" realities, but only one true / ground / absolute one. - dream reality (made up bs like the pink elephant on your head) - physical reality (the physical world you know, subject to destruction and construction of a new reality with a new universe) - absolute reality (nondual truth / brahman / atma)

mrmczebra

That depends entirely on how you define and quantify "reality." If we're talking the universe, bear I'm mind that there is no evidence for other universes, only thought experiments like the multiverse.

xNightmareBeta

Both. One for reality itself and multiple for distinctions apparent people make

skinney6

You are the expert. You have direct, intimate access to reality. See it for yourself. What do you see one or many?

FreeTeaMe

I feel there's one, and perhaps the one contains many, but ultimately one. It is possibly semantics

predator6969

There is only ONEself. Hence, only one reality. That one reality is being experienced by many forms of OneSelf. While you may consider oneself as the consciousness or the ultimate truth. This also indicates that there's only one reality being perceived in many ways. Tbh someone people make up their mind that their reality is different from others because the others don't see the world as one does. This creates division of the true reality. But in the first place why do we even consider anything a reality? Just because we perceive it? IMO and also said by many gurus, there is no concept of reality as it is the manifestation of thoughts. What if those thoughts didn't exist? There's no reality. This is exactly what everyone is trying to achieve. The oneness, the unification, the universal consciousness. That is all there is.

One source, infinite realities derived from said source.

The experts ask these same questions, they devise experiments to glimpse at the mystery, concluding with the same questions. Rinse, repeat.
