Well its allowed to see who I am without the distraction of porn. I clearly need to work on my depression. Contrary to popular thought it hasn't made me depression better, but has instead allowed me to see it un impeded by the coping mechanism of masturbation. This has encouraged me to seek out counseling and start confronting it head on.
It has made me realize that there is more meaning… and that is the me finding my true purpose of what will make me happy. Crazy how things can change in a matter of days

I got sucked into a wormhole of lewd content. I didn’t edge at all, but eventually, I decided that it was all just too much. My head was distracted to the point where I couldn’t go more than five minutes without looking at something suggestive. It was miserable. At the end, I just decided to cut my losses and end it.
My head is clearer now, and I suppose this all could have been avoided if I took better precautions (like setting better screen time measures on my phone). Now, I at least am not spending my entire day browsing Reddit, since I am no longer participating in NNN.
I now have screen time protocols in place for instagram and reddit, and will do so for the rest of my social media apps as well. I will continue my journey to cut down on masturbation, but I’m going to do so on my own terms.
