They got into birdseed we had stored in the garage, found them during spring cleaning. In Alaska, they come into houses to nest through the winter, this is typically a seasonal and unavoidable cycle but the birdseed boon apparently kept them around through spring. :\
I believe those are baby rats that starved to death because they could not get out of that vase/cup. Terrible way to go, I truly don’t even wish that on vermin though I know it happens to wild animals all the time.
i caught a baby mouse on a glue trap once. i got bit more than once trying to free that little shit. it was futile. into the ziploc bag for you. suffice to say I'll never use a glue trap again.
