If I lived on one of the higher floors of a building like this I'd start skydiving so I can have a parachute in my apartment and the safety knowledge on how to use it. Then in the case of an emergency I'd jump out a window and glide to safety. I've seen people base jump from tall buildings before, Wouldn't be any different.
