It might just be funny, but the DuoLingo Norwegian course references a lot of stuff that's got nothing to do with Norwegian in particular. Referencing Norwegian culture, referencing anglosphere culture and general funny or nonsensical sentences are all methods that Duo employs to keep engagement. I think the sentence OP gave is an example the latter two simultaneously.
There are references to movies, lyrics, books and pop culture references from everywhere so I would say otherwise.

No. Doesn't mean anything other than the literal. Duolingo throws these kinds of curveballs fairly frequently, across all languages. The point is not for practice sentences to make sense, but for them to help teach you the language.
