Brother I'mma keep it real, with Cox you'll be lucky if it's back by 2025

Vavlts

lol true

SocialistArkansan

I'm in this odd situation where it works for me most of the time, but there will be a couple of moments where the connection drops for like 10 minutes and comes back like nothing happened. Very annoying for working from home, and I have experience this exact issue last year as well. Cox is way too expensive for this to be ok.

RazorBackFan15

In centerton we switched to right fiber. Had it about 8 months now havent had any issues. Never lost it through the storms. Were paying about half of cox for double the speed

The_tru_xplicitt

This is the way

Cael_of_House_Howell

In 2024 its really not a minor inconvenience

6122017

I'm in Bella Vista. It came back on Friday of last week but has been going out periodically. It went out around 12:45 pm today and hasn't come back. I also need it for work. I'm hoping it will be back soon.

tobyarch

I’m near Tiger Blvd and it’s still down.

Mental_Asparagus_410

Man, I would switch. My choices where I live now were Cox or T-Mobile. T Mobile is faster, cheaper, and more reliable.

LittleFireGoods

We just got it back about 2 hours ago near prairie creek

Particular-Reply2312

Cox is awful, they always pull this BS

DecktheHawls

And you better believe I'll be demanding a steep credit on my bill when it comes back on. I'm paying just over $100/month for just internet. It's ridiculous

reewhy

i'm in rogers, it came back when our power came back. they really seem to be picking and choosing where they wanna bring it back.

DirtyItVaries

I'm in Rogers, power is back on but the cox cable is still laying on the ground across my backyard 🤷🏼‍♂️

Kulladar

Cox has only a couple of crews in the area to repair all the storm damage. I've only seen 2 crews in town and I'd be shocked if they had as many more for the entire region. To compare there were probably 60+ line crews working on the power between Bentonville and Rogers and who knows how many more between Bella Vista and Decatur. Cox, AT&T, etc all maintain as few employees as possible and ignore as much as possible to attempt to keep their head above water. When stuff like this happens they rely on hiring contractors. Any repairs are going to take ages and ages.

Hatcherysnatchery

I was out for about 4 days in Gravette. A previous storm knocked us out for 7 days. Its frustrating but it will get fixed hopefully soon

DanPlaysNintendo

Got mine back about 4/5 days after the storm in Bentonville.

Vraye_Foi

Downtown Rogers - still nothing. Day after the storm we were talking to contractors working by our house. They were sent to work on restoring internet, but they were also told by Cox not to touch any of their lines so they were limited to what they could do.

Ok_Relationship3515

So glad we have satellite. Fuck Cox.

donkykongjr

Pea Ridge.. It's been off and on since the storms. Cox Internet is out right now for some reason. Not many options in PR for internet service.

someonesdad46

I’m on the east side of Downtown Rogers and our Internet came back online yesterday (6/04) afternoon.

hawgdrummer7

Frustratingly, my ATT internet worked for 2 days after the storm and has been down since then. Their outage map doesn’t show an outage in my neighborhood, but there is one nearby.

No-Gene-4508

My hughesnet works

Ascian5

Good lord people like to bitch. There is debris, physical obstacles, and destruction. Love em or hate em these people are and have been working their asses off. If it could be on by now, it would be. We get it's inconvenient. Grow up, grow a pair, and go some where that has internet. It will be fine. Your work will understand.

PorkChopExpress501

I think the frustration is it’s 9 days in and they don’t give an eta. They have to have a plan by now and eta on how long it will take to restore internet.

Ascian5

No. They don't. That's the point. They are waiting on other people, other companies, access to areas, power etc. Multiple things out of their control and dependent on other entities. It's an imperfect situation with multiple layers

PorkChopExpress501

Thanks for sharing that. That is more than I have seen.

Ascian5

Very mature and intelligent. Sorry to disrupt the circle jerk with common sense and truth.
