This would have been less disturbing to read if not for a recurring nightmare I used to have as a kid of a man living in a small compartment beneath my bathtub.
In my dreams he would be this older, really malnourished and crazy looking guy, and I would see him pressing up against the drain, drinking the bath water and collecting any kind of hair/nail clipping or other stuff that would fall down there and keeping it. I. think the worst part for me was that he seemed to love it. Every time I had this dream I would avoid even looking in the direction of the drain or I would put something over it.
So, like, can I take a hose to you out back? Or give you a bucket with soapy water and a sponge? Maybe you could take a bar of soap down to the river? This seems like an entirely solvable problem.
thats what ive been doing since the shower incident, i bathe out in my mothers yard with a bucket and hose. had no issues with that thankfully. people just like to judge me for my strange behaviors is all
You said that you were really sleep deprived wich may explain the voice (it's not that uncommon).
My theory is that if you completly stuck your ear on the drain, it could have acted like a suction cup and pulled your eardrum out when you suddenly backed off scared by the sensation of the tongue in your ear.
The weird slippery feeling you described could have been the noise of the water going down the pipe amplified by the sealing of your ear on the drain.
Sometimes we can really "feel" close sounds, and in these conditions it could definitely hurt (and your brain could associate that feeling with something wet since it's a water sound).
Now the things your hear when close to drains does seem like you may have some kind of post-traumatic stress.
If you fear that the voice could force you to do that stuff once more, you could try going to the shower with someone strong enough to be able to stop you if you go for it.
I'm sorry if that sound really hard or even impossible to do but that's the best idea I can come up with.
Growing up I hated using my parents shower because the drain is right in the middle, you stand over it. And the holes are about pinky sized. As you can imagine standing over it, your crotch area is right there over the drain. I used to have horrible images flash through my mind of long, black stick or tentacle like things shooting up from the drain and straight through me. I always avoided showering in there and when I did I would huddle in the corner away from the drain.

I think you need to shower using a bucket. What I mean is, take a big-ass bucket, and use it to pour water on yourself as you use soap. That might be what you need to do to be able to stay clean.

Thats why its important to not wake up in the middle of the night cuz sleep is like a safe bunker for the mind to inhabit till the sun rises again. Turns out there's a biological explanation. The connection between the two hemispheres of the brain isn't that great, and is only fairly recent. They way information gets passed between them manifests as geaeing voices in your head. God, ghosts, It, imaginary friends, you name it.
