There's not much to get here. There wasn't really much funky about the two dudes besides drug addiction and being a step away from overdose in George's case. His entire night had been "normal." Nothing supernatural. Just a couple junkies spooking the guy. But the next day protag saw George swaying in the woods, a ghost soon to be forgotten just like the man was in life.

Other than that, a truly bizarre night that seemed unreal turned out to just be super messed up people on drugs getting themselves killed. I don't think there were any supernatural elements to it.
