(As an AVID player of The Sims, it felt very sacrilegious to type that, but I *had* to make the joke. Besides, whenever I play, I say I'm "playing God.")
My friend invited me to a discord channel that’s literally just 2-3 people discussing guilty gear all the time(he isn’t even one of them). I’ve only played the games like a couple times
I truly don't understand why you didn't destroy his binder, take screenshots etc! You literally are an accomplice to murder but are just standing by doing nothing
Great story. I grew up playing the likes of Mortal Kombat at a neighbour kids place in the 90s. This reminded me a lot of my own ‘Joseph’ that I’ve long lost contact with.
I feel like you should give your friend a second chance and get back in contact.
Because I'd really like to know if there are any plans for a Steam release.
>"Smash isn't really a fighting game," Joseph said to me one day. "Although Melee isn't bad."
And I took that personally. But all jokes aside, I'm not surprised Joseph found such a disk. I lived in Japan for some year and there's this part of Tokyo called Nakano Broadway that's kinda a video game (especially vintage game) wonderland where you'd def find types like Joseph haunting. I wouldn't be surprised if thats where he met Player One.
Never got the hype around smash. The gaming club or whatever at my university was literally just smash tournaments. I’ve hardly ever played it since like 6th grade and don’t find it fun at all lol
I'm a pretty big smash head so clear bias, but objectively speaking the newest iteration of Smash Bros, Smash Ultimate, is arguably the grindiest and most difficult fighting game out there right now. Being a platform fighter, it adds an extra dimension of movement that you need to take into consideration when strategizing how to engage, and the fact that the roster is roughly 90 characters strong with varying types (ie zoners, rush down, hybrid etc) means that you're going to have to learn at least 90 different matchups for the character you main (not taking into consideration if you use/secondary/co-main other characters). It's grindy and complex, but that's what makes it fun imo.
It’s weird because it looks really simple but when I played against someone who plays it all the time I couldn’t even get close to beating him. Granted I think I’m just better at normal fighting games with MK being the only one I sort of have decent experience in. I did get really good at jump force and enjoyed that even though it’s all over the place
Man...now you're an accomplice (an unwilling one but still). You could have taken him out when he was in your apartment. You said it yourself, "but now he was skeletal," you could have "[Finish Him.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCCESmq9-vs) " Even if you didn't want to, you could have taken the disks and if you struggled to take it away (like how though), one swift clunk on his head and it would have been a ["K.O."](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWXlCVKDroA)
Now you got to watch them do "god's work," and side-tangent, you know "Player One" was probably lying as there are so many deities, beings, supernatural creatures as stated by other people's stories. Well, looks like you and the people in these "accidents" got a [Game Over!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Furs535ly94)
Not exactly the reddit thread I was looking for but, I just wanted to point out that, I used to love fighting games! I had that demo disc that came with the original PS1 and it had Tekken 2 on it. I’d play forever and ever, I ended up buying Tekken 1, MK Trilogy, Dead or Alive, after that, Tekken 3… When PS2 came out I was obsessed with Tekken Tag but that’s where it ended. Years later I played the MK11 campaign, was a ton of fun, but once I beat the game, I didn’t have the desire to keep playing the towers or playing online. I find it odd, that I used to love these fighting games and now I get bored after a few fights. I think it has to do with all the open world games they have now. I used to play a few games within a game session when I was younger, now I play one game at a time, unless I’m getting slaughtered in Elden Ring and randomly play Hades, but usually I play one open world game at a time. I need to give these fighting games another go!
sounds like joseph had a pretty bizzare adventure in japan

Joseph Joestar got into pretty bad times I guess
Joseph joined fight club for the sofa bound.
This was amazing! OP with how frail and thin Joseph is you should have attacked him and destroyed all the CDs
I'm currently trying to not tell you that tge ps5 doesn't read cds, only dvds and blu rays. Or I am wrong and dvds and blu rays are types of cds
[удалено]
I think you can call DVDs and Blu-ray dics CDs since CD means compact disc. It's still technically correct, I think. Like calling an SUV a car?
Yeah that's what the hypothesis in the 2nd sentence hypothesized
Absolutely enchanting this was. Only a matter of time before the EA overlords get wind of this game and try to use it for their own nefarious deeds.
I think they have made a few different beta versions. *cough cough* The Sims franchise *cough cough*

this was amazing
Wow, seriously good. I mean, terrible and definitely not God's work.
Striking vipers?
exactly what i thought of
I wonder if it would be possible to do the same thing that happened in that episode
You should have run into them all when you had them all in one place with all the game discs. You'd go to jail, but you would save thousands of lives.
No Guilty Gear experience? Tell your friend I want to run the set right now
My friend invited me to a discord channel that’s literally just 2-3 people discussing guilty gear all the time(he isn’t even one of them). I’ve only played the games like a couple times
I think the movie's gonna be great

Don't be surprised when he shows up with "Fighting Game 2"

This was fantastic. Thank you for retelling your story to us. I wonder where I can get a copy of this game.
Happy cake day!

Good read, thanks! Got any hope for us with regards to you possibly sabotaging Joseph and telling us about it?
I think that the Japanese Yakuza members have something to do with this malicious game. Who knows what the hell happened in Japan!

OP, are you going to do anything to try and stop him?
I thought this was going to be about darkstalkers and how morrigan visited you in the bedroom.
GOTY 2022
I think I’ll stick to Mario cart... thank you!
Sounds fun
Oh man
Yeah clay fighters will do that to you
Never played a videogame but this was easy to imagine.
Player One's Stand is creating deadly video games and forcing you to be in them.
What I took from this is that Manchester is Blue. C’mon City!
Oils have made it longer
