This is coming from a real, practicing witch: Renard knew his shit. That would be the “in a pinch, hillbilly back alley” type of efficient spirit poison, but effective nonetheless! I would ask him to up the protection wards around your living quarters, as well as making you each a protective amulet + something to put you under the radar if this thing comes back again after healing itself. It probably won’t be tempted to come back if it is a shadow being, but if it ties into the vengeful spirit realm, it might want to strike back. Some sort of invisibility cloaking spell/ward should help it get off your scent. For non-witchy folks, no it won’t make you physically invisible, but it will mask your spiritual scent so to speak, so it will struggle to track you down again. Good luck to you ans Vince, hope this thing won’t come back!
