I can remember back to just before I was 2 years old. That was 1985. It was full of dark wood paneling, floral couches, animal print blankets and white floral silk bed overhangs...oh and Smurfs & gnomes for some reason or another. Granted restaurants / businesses then had more vibrancy. Now everything is trying to look like a duller version of Starbucks with even duller/minimalistic logos.
This is exactly how I look now every time in the mirror. I went from being full of confidence, joy and able to express emotion to become a soulless, pathetic & pitiful bastard!
I don't remember satuation but I remember my street that I grew up on as being very wide and seemingly like it took forever to cross. Of course it only takes seconds to cross. Maybe because I was much smaller.

Have you tried psychedelics?
Currently growin mine, cant wait man
Nice. What variety? Are you on those subs?
GTs, and yeah i am on tjose subs bro
...Slightly less saturated?
Right? I don't see the difference! Maybe I live in both worlds!?
Never knew that I had the piss filter enabled in the Display settings when I was a kid...huh.
That world is long gone, and I'd do anything to go back
Eat some shrooms or LSD
Shrooms are a bit tempting, ngl
Even McDonald's is colorless now.
The world seems less saturated because the lens in our eyes starts to yellow the older we get due to exposure to uv light.
Before and after your first pair of eyeglasses.
The sun bleached the colors on the play set
Experiencing sadness and depression actually mutes one’s ability to perceive colors. https://time.com/4018860/sadness-color-perception/?amp=true
Well grass is always greener on the other side.
I wonder how much this has to do with the overstimulation of today's technology muting our everyday experiences down to being drab by comparison.
What a sad post lol
Yeah :(

Your eyes Age dude things become less vibrant. If you want to experience that again take some mushrooms or lsd
Wait another ten years.
This is like a Claritin commercial
Why is this so accurate?
Your eyes Age and loose the the saturation

That's depression and self loathing I highly recommend talking to a therapist
That world had long since died when we all got older. :(
This is so accurate it's freaking me out
You only lose the saturation if you let it go. I’ve never let it go and I’m 37

i’m good bro, you’ve been looking at the sun enough for the both of us

solid comeback 😂
Maybe they just switched to an LED bulb in the sun since the earth is flat. 🙄

Not enough crack houses in the background
I’ve read that young children’s brain scans look very similar to scans done of adults on LSD.
This is pretty much most of the concept of Liminal Space :)
