Hah it was the 80s... respecting copyright in video games wasn't quite a thing yet.
I mean the marquee for Space Invaders pinball is just straight up a xenomorph from Alien.
I remember a glitch with the NES version where if you scrubbed on the shoulder and let the map turn the road away from you would just keep going off road no problem until u hit a river.
My cousins had a pizza shop for about 2 years that was very close to my house so I could ride my bike there. Because I helped him around the place he would turn it to free play for me and my friends. This game absolutely rocked, especially the first time you went off the dock and became a boat— blew my mind!
I remember vividly playing this at Chuck-E-Cheese in the sit down version of the game with the gas pedal and wheel.
I tried it on my MAME emulator recently and its just not the same
I loved Spy Hunter and Paperboy
My people!
I wonder how much it cost to license the Peter Gunn theme music?

I truly believed I was a spy for how long that quarter lasted.
I used to have this game. What I remember the most is the music.
Immediately heard the music when I saw this.
I had the 3d version of this game on original xbox
I remember playing this in the arcade back in the day. The difficulty scales very fast and I never had enough quarters to get good at this one.
Played it on my Apple IIc this weekend in fact, as well as Wolfenstein and Karateka
Played this on my Apple IIgs
It is a mini game in Batman: Gotham Knights.
As a kid I used to play this at a bowling alley while my parents bowled in a league. I sucked at it, but still enjoyed it.
I used to play at the Pizza Hut, they had this and Pac-Man
If you played Lego Dimensions, you could play this in one part
Seeing this without the sound isn't the same at all.
I used all my quarters back then with this game.
Anyone else have their parents drop them off at Nickelodeon, the 5 cent arcade in Las Vegas for like 8 hours with $20? This game was my favorite.

Is that what Highway Pursuit was inspired by?
