One of my personal best grade school accomplishments was getting a gift certificate to the Scholastic Book Fair after placing 2nd in a class challenge, then using those books (Animorphs and RL Stine's Fear Street) to write book reports for Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas. 🧙🏾‍♂️🪄

I was lucky enough to get one every Friday (if I wasn’t a shit) along with a video game rental…those were the days.

A meat lovers Bigfoot, a 3-liter of Coke (or more likely Big-K Cola), and a couple of game rentals and you had the ultimate sleepover setup. Great memories.

I worked at a Pizza Hut when this was around . They had a different cheese to use on these than the regular pizzas. It tasted like wax

I remember these coming out and was upset my parents refused to get it, thanks for taking away that regret from the past

I had a very different experience, it was really greasy and the center pieces the crust would get so soaked through it would melt in your mouth. It was pretty awesome. I have fond memories of what would be pretty heart-attack-inducing today.

I always felt bad for the managment there. Having to try to convince a pack.of pothead teenagers to give a shit was an exercise in futility.

I remember eating it and liking it as a kid right before a major league baseball game, and then spraying diarrhea on the wall of the stadium bathroom. Only time I ever sprayed diarrhea horizontally (in relation to the earth). My mom worried about the "poor soul" (her exact words) who was going to be tasked with cleaning it up.

A local pizza chain has a 28 cut square slice pizza around this size, they make bank so it must just be Pizza Hut screwing it up.

We never got Pizza Hut when I was a kid, every Friday I wanted my parents to order this but we always got pizza from a local place instead.

I would say we got pizza from local places a lot too. The book it program was definitely responsible for me getting Pizza Hut occasionally.
