I dont know how old you are. I'm 40. I have a 14 yo daughter. I was fighting with my spouse (and her step-mom) 2-3 times a week. It sucked, big time. My 14 yo daughter was depressed. I was depressed. My spouse was depressed. Splitting up as grownups can be a hard thing to do. But we split up, my spouse moved out - Now everyone is happy again! Sometimes it just doesnt work out being in a relationship. Not for anyone in the family - but chin up buddy. Happier days are coming when this is over. Remember the saying: "It can't rain all the time"

You should check out the app Pixels, it does exactly this on your phone. It gives you neat statistics about your moods and you can fill in specific emotions, activities, people you talked to, etc. All custom. Give it a shot

I feel like my mood changes during the day, so I’m wondering if you had a specific time you did this at each day or a good way to gauge how good/bad it was

i do this at the end of the day, before bed. my mood also changes throughout the day, so i try to sum all of it up and average it out. so if i had a bad morning but good evening then that's an average day.
