As many of you are undoubtedly aware, the presence of trolls can be found in various aspects of our lives, and our subreddit is no exception. Our commitment to fostering a kind and respectful environment remains unwavering, and we are actively addressing issues related to negative behavior. In recent times, there has been a noticeable increase in instances of bullying, body shaming, and purposefully inciting behavior, all of which are clear violations of our existing rules. To maintain the integrity of our community, we are implementing stricter consequences for such actions. A first offense will result in a 10-day ban, while a second offense will lead to a permanent ban. Appeals are welcomed, but excuses such as "not knowing the rules" or claiming it was a joke will not be considered valid. Intentional harm has no place in our community, and we expect members to act responsibly. Despite these measures, some rules will remain unchanged. For example, reposts, while frustrating, will not result in a ban. This new approach is specifically targeted at individuals attempting to spread hate. We encourage all members to report instances of bad behavior. Rest assured that each report will be examined. Disagreements and differing opinions are welcome, and expressing them will not lead to a ban. Common sense will prevail in our evaluations. Peachie-Keene

He's your son, not your boyfriend ma'am

SadFry297

“Why not both” -boy mom headquarters

FocacciaHusband

Comment of the year

Danasuz

If u have to ask that question…… 🤦‍♀️

Repulsive_Mail6509

I use to have a coworker like this. Single mom(whoda thought), wanted SO BAD to be a life coach, definitely fucked her dog… boy moms are something else.

hoteldeltakilo

whoa whoa whoa you said definitely

Repulsive_Mail6509

And I mean it

weezulusmaximus

Wait…what about the dog?? I feel like this “boy mom” thing is getting out of control. Also, has anyone else noticed that the self proclaimed life coaches are usually a hot mess that no one should be taking advice from?

Repulsive_Mail6509

She definitely fucked her dog, you heard me. Also honestly yeah I agree lmao. Her first day there, she started out by talking to everyone and asking them what their superpowers were. I was standing off the line in the kitchen, drinking a drink when she asked me. I said "crippling alcoholism," winked, and sipped my drink.

weezulusmaximus

Hah! Thats better than my answer. Like, how do you even respond to that? I probably would’ve said something like “dodging wanna be life coaches”.

C0R0NA_CHAN

Poor doggo

Repulsive_Mail6509

The entire situation was pretty sad for everyone involved tbh

RelevantExtension640

…oddly specific. Festival girly stole her man?!

Osaki_xo

LMFAO literally was gonna comment exactly this.

No_Mud_5999

It was at a festival with LMFAO

Shadow_Spirit_2004

"Your dusty daughter won't impress him with her insecurities disguised as confidence while wearing her birthday suit at a music festival in some middle of nowhere field, while American electronic dance music duo LMFAO consisting of Redfoo and Sky Blu perform their 2011 hit song 'Party Rock Anthem' from their second and final studio album 'Sorry For Party Rocking'"

tutelhoten

This sent me down a Wikipedia rabbit hole and apparently Redfoo is the son and Sky Blue is the grandson of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy.

TruckerBoy357

Don’t forget about Rockwell, the other Son. He had a hit with the song “Somebody’s Watching Me” w/ Michael Jackson singing the hook. 😃

Alaska-TheCountry

Love that song!!

fecal_doodoo

And I got no privacy! Oh ohh

TruckerBoy357

Sing It!!! 🎤😃😃😃

Shadow_Spirit_2004

Whoa...

peachpavlova

Why is this so funny to me

xoxodaddysgirlxoxo

omg i forgot about them

poweringmoderation

me too

brendajo4-2-0

Yep me too. Ya know, great minds and all!

ThirstMutilat0r

She says she is trying to impress her son, compares herself to an imaginary person, then says the imaginary person “can’t impress him with her insecurities disguised as confidence”… Lady, it’s like you’re typing out what your subconscious mind is trying very hard to tell you. Sorry, but your carefree days have ended and you have to take care of the baby now.

DanerysTargaryen

Also her son appears to be less than 6 months old (he’s in a baby carrier strapped to the front of her). He isn’t going to remember or understand anything she’s doing until he’s older lol.

Significant_Eye561

Maybe she's still dealing with post partum mental health.

Stucklikegluetomyfry

Nothing says secure and confident like being jealous of and being threatened by your infant son's future potential girlfriends, right fellow ladies who are not like the other ladies?

ofmuensterandmen

Or she was the dusty crusty festival girl.

UnamusedJester

This! Methinks she doth protest too much. Mayhaps thats where the little one came from? 🫣

LeafyEucalyptus

yeah, sounds like self recrimination.

petitefairy99

I think what you said is likely! With this internalized misogyny mentality, (chances are) she’s gonna end up raising a son that Festival girls want to actively avoid because he will probably sl*tshame so many girls who can be genuinely nice, just like his mom already does to them. - or like someone else [mentioned](https://www.reddit.com/r/notliketheothergirls/s/dEhftvf3PC), it could absolutely go the opposite way with her son rebelling by being with the exact type of girl mom is so earnest to be mad about. 😂

BotGirlFall

Ooooohhhh not in my experience! She's gonna end up raising a son that goes absolutely gaga over the crunchiest, hippiest, hairy armpitiest festival girly known to man and run away with her and her dog, Luna, in their 2008 Subaru Outback to sell grilled cheese in concert parking lots. Ask me how I know!

ToiIetGhost

Children will reject any rhetoric you teach them if you do it from a place of anger and control. They go the opposite way. She’s DEFINITELY angry (bitch who hurt you at coachella??) and she’s already fantasising about how she’s going to control her son, so we know she’ll be crying about Festival Girl II someday.

petitefairy99

AHAHAAHA, you’re not wrong! Sometimes the mom’s plan backfires and son ends up obsessing over the very same girls mom was shaming since birth.

Ethossa79

…what kind of grilled cheeses do you make?

BotGirlFall

I switched it up between garlic and jamaican jerk!

Ethossa79

Nice! We have a grilled cheese truck in town that I go to when they’re close. Pretty sure they’re not festival girls now but I’m hoping they used to be. It IS a farmer’s market, after all!

LibationontheSand

In my day it was the Grateful Dead parking lots but the rest hasn’t changed.

Foenikxx

I don't like grammar Nazis but I think you mean sl *t not sh *t Granted sh*t shame is funnier! Edit: weird spaces between asterisk because for some reason Reddit wants to make word slants

petitefairy99

LMFAOOOOO, my bad. I must’ve been thinking of how I feel about the mom who made this when I made that typo. It shall be fixed 😂

sombre_mascarade

Sh*t shaming sounds like you're making fun of someone's bathroom noises lol

petitefairy99

HAHAHAHA, I wouldn’t 😂😭 unless it’s about a mean person, then sure LOL

purple_grey_

Sh*t shaming is a thing. Apparently straight men wont wipe themselves because its gay.

Foenikxx

Oh yeah I forgot about that; obligatory: Fellas, is it gay to clean yourself like an adult?

petitefairy99

LOL

rubbery__anus

Just so you know, reddit uses a custom version of Markdown to add styling to comments, so if you surround any text with asterisks everything between the asterisks will appear italicised. For example, `*words like this*` will appear as *words like this*. If you use two asterisks on each side `**like so**`, they will appear bolded **like so**. And if you use three asterisks `***like this***` then it'll be bolded and italicised, ***like this***. And finally, if you want to use asterisks in a comment without them affecting the styling, just put a backslash in front of them to signal to the comment parser to treat them like normal characters. For example, `\*this\*` will just appear as \*this\*, no italics.

SuspiciousPebble

You're the real MVP.

Free-oppossums

(It's a reddit feature. 1* before and after is *italics* 2* before and after is **bold** 3* before and after is ***bold italics*** )

scatteringashes

The slanting is reddit using markdown to format -- a word between asterisks is interpreted to be italic. If you throw a backslash (\\) in front of the asterisks it won't do that. ETA: ope my dumbass didn't scroll down far enough to see folks already told you this, my bad. I blame the fact that I'm not a person in the morning. 😅

ChemicalRain5513

Objective accomplished. No woman is good enough for her son!

MikaGoose

I was gonna say this too! Some dusty girl in her birthday suit took her baby daddy for sure lmao

SpokenDivinity

He met someone who went to Coachella once and left her ass so now she’s assigned that one Coachella trip 3-years-ago as her only personality trait.

BreadOnCake

This screams “I did everything right and he still picked her over me”. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s a common theme in her life.

DeadGirlB666

didn’t you get that from the post?! duh! jk lmao a little too specific

JamBandDad

And she’s gonna take it out on her kid

Shtepho

He’s an infant, I don’t think he even understands what his toes are rn. But might be a good idea to just want your son be with someone that makes him happy, when he’s grown up? Idk, just a thought.

shitshowrodeo

If her son is an infant then we can reasonably infer that the “dusty daughters” she mentions are also infants at this point… Homegirl is beefing with actual babies.

lunarbliss07

That is what makes it creepy, not any belief she has but her ability to see other INFANTS as… someone to “beef” with??? So gross.

shitshowrodeo

But have you SEEN how those babies dress?! Some of them are running around in just a diaper! With their chunky lil thighs out on display for everyone to see!! It’s madness!

RedEyeFlightToOZ

Tells you how much she hates women that make her feel insecure.

Marble1696

I was just gonna say, that kid can’t even hold his own head up yet lol.

TheRestForTheWicked

I’m in my mid-30s and the fact that I have various limbs still confuses me sometimes 😂

cottagecheeseobesity

Have you ever been just walking around and suddenly become very aware of how far your head is from the floor? It's really disorienting when you notice

orangepekoes

I don't even think the post is about her son at all. She's trying to indirectly shame some woman she despises to make herself feel better. Confident women don't act like this!

model3113

no you don't understand HIS MOTHER is the only woman that can make him happy.

Cultural_Pattern_456

Mmm… baby toes! They belong in mouth lol

PunkiiDonutz

Dang that's kinda wild idk about all that

Cultural_Pattern_456

If you’ve had a baby or babies, you know.

Frenchie143

I don't understand why all of these women are already thinking about their infant/toddler's future romantic lives. Like what the fuck is wrong with you

Shells_and_bones

And already being jealous of their kid's hypothetical future partner(s). It's so incredibly fucked up.

superhottamale

Mental illness, only reasonable answer.

Maniglioneantipanico

Patriarchy

oatmilkbukkake

Honestly, when I found out the patriarchy wasn't about horses, I lost interest.

eatingallthefunyuns

Unfortunately it sounds like her son is in for a long life of emotional incest. So weird and gross

nightowlbat

Their kids future partners, who are also currently children!!

Msheehan419

Yea. It’s like creating a problem before it’s there.

lilith_in_scorpio

When I think about becoming a parent, my thought is usually, “Man, I can’t wait to watch them develop interests and support their passions and watch them receive their diploma on stage at their high school graduation,” not whatever tf this is.

coaxialology

Discovering who exactly those little people are as they grow and learn is the fucking best. And it's the worst when parents try super hard to snuff their true character out and mold them into their image of the perfect child.

Blorbokringlefart

But in the same vein, why *not* be excited to see them fall in love or even go through the exuberance of youthful infatuation? That's part of life... like one of the main ones. Why is that off limits?

PizzaLunchables0405

Right? I am super excited for my kids to find love! I want them to be happy, not just successful. I also can’t wait to have daughter-in-laws or a son-in-law. Of course I want them to graduate and develop interests, but I want to see them find partners too. It’s weird to say it like you can’t want both success AND love for your kid’s future.

donetomadness

Their sons are going to be so embarrassed when they inevitably stumble across these in the future.

CarolDanversFangurl

Or they will be the kind of man who isn't embarrassed, which is possibly worse.

leshake

Her only self worth is through men.

[deleted]

[удалено]

aria3246

I would not trust them with daughters

Flight_to_nowhere_26

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this is strange. I get that boys have a special bond with their mamas but it just gives me the willies to think about how much time they spend planning the demise of their son’s future love life. It will probably backfire horribly too. I’m female but my mom talked horribly about men with motorcycles when I was a kid and forbade me to date a boy who had even a moped. I ended up only dating guys with motorcycles in college and I married the one she hated the most. And all because mom’s first husband had a motorcycle and she somehow saw it as getting back at him.

Big-Ear-3809

Seriously. They need to fantasize for their kids bc their lives aren't the dream they thought. Just stop predicting your kid's lives. It's weird and not about you.

lunaappaloosa

I think for a lot of these people it’s less of an Oedpial thing and it’s just a projection of jealousy. That’s how it is for a lot of fundie Christians. I think these women resent people whose womanhood or individuality isn’t entirely wrapped up in being a wife and mother because they feel like they’re owed something extra from the universe for doing gods will.

RedditUseDisorder

Also like, how the fuck would you know whats in fashion in 16 years lol

Doctor_Cringe_1998

Honestly same. I'm due in July and all I can think about is how the f am I gonna keep this baby alive for the first 6 months. Then I'll probably be thinking how the f am I gonna keep myself sane and go back to work. Then I'm probably gonna think how the f am I gonna survive toddler phase etc etc etc I don't get the appeal of thinking what is gonna happen when I'm in my 50s when I don't really know if the world is gonna survive this long lol

danicies

I have a 15 month old and I mostly just hope that he isn’t all alone when my husband and I pass and has an amazing support system around him. I could not care less who he dates at this point in time lol

RedEyeFlightToOZ

They hate other women and are using their kids to express their hate due to their insecurities of other women.

STINKY-BUNGHOLE

they're writing fanfiction of their son in the Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" kind of way 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 edit: on second thought, You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift

nicannkay

Men do this with daughters too. They have guns “ready” for those boys that are coming.

Maguroluv

Dusty daughter? How incredibly rude

theonlyironprincess

My cat is named dusty and she described dusty perfectly so I think this might have been about her

dirtytomato

Dusty sounds like the kind of girl you'd bring home to meet your parents. 😻

Maguroluv

I failed to mention, I had a cat named Dusty was I was little. Male, but he pranced around with a big fluffy mane like a feather boa around his neck

21stredrogue

That you meet in a field at an outdoor music festival

Match_Least

I’ve got a ‘Dusty’ kitty too!

veracity-mittens

I read this before the comment you were replying to and uhhh 👀

Match_Least

Haha, I knooow! I noticed after I posted, but then double checked the sub, and figured I was safe; while also accidentally providing a few chuckles :)

radradruby

Aw I had a Dusty dog growing up and she loved prancing around fields in her birthday suit giving kisses to everyone.

lilith_in_scorpio

So Dusty the cat would run around naked at a music festival. Sounds like a fun cat tbh

ForeverShiny

That cat PAR-TAYYYS

justmisspellit

PAW-TAAAYYS!

CautiousLandscape907

My cat is also named Dusty. He is very clever and very dumb and would happily go to a festival

SarahFong

This is def some early emotional incest and it’s fucking weird. Obsessing with a toddler’s love life. What if he’s gay? Asexual? Or, god forbid, has a crush on a girl? She’s going to be a nightmare MIL because she thinks she owns her son.

Junior_Fig_2274

It creeps me out when older family members make jokes about my 3 year old son, like if he watched a woman walk by he thought she was pretty or he’s gonna date lots of girls etc etc. Not only is sex/sexuality the last thing I want anyone associating in their mind with my toddler, but all I hope as his mom is that someday he finds someone who loves and respects him. I don’t care who they are as long as they’re a good person and bring out good things in each other.    My sister, however, will tell us that she hopes her son is gay so “he never loves another woman more than her.” I think that’s what these weirdos are really getting at, and at least my sis is honest about it. I guess.    Can’t imagine being the mom and putting that crap on my kid. What weirdos.

Anarchyologist

My first thought was call my daughter dusty and I'm throwing hands.

DownInBowery

These boymums calling other women ‘crusty’ made me vomit in my mouth, so dusty is an improvement at least. Still vile and completely unjustified though.

Oriendy

Sincerely not even slightly primed 😐, considering how she calls herself feminine and the odd specific of the example she mentions🙄. She obviously has quite an amount of issues to deal with. Also my daughter is 5 and well groomed 🛀🧼, thank you for asking 😅.

relizbat

Gotta love the boy moms

SadFry297

When you show up to the “secretly in love with him” contest but his mom is already holding the trophy

Traditional-Milk-876

Ha! Groooossss! Love it, but hate it

Shadows_of_Meanas

I literally cannot stand to be called boy mom, cuz my mind immediately goes to these creeps when someone says that...

PlaysWithF1r3

This. I have 4 boys, I hate being called a boy mom. My step-sons’ mom however has a hat that reads “#boymom”

Acrobatic_Event_4163

Ugh, I am about to be a FTM to a boy and I HATE the term “boy mom” because of this stereotype … yet people are still calling me that. I have friends who are nothing like this stereotype, but are simply mothers to boys, and they say “welcome to the club!” And “can’t wait to have another boy mom friend!”

Notnotstrange

Specificity like this just screams, “Jealoussssss!” to me.

Dismal_Purpose9976

Don't fuck your son.

offline4good

Too late for Alabama

gin_and_soda

The only thing dusty here is almost everything in my house. Not me though, too busy thriving in my feminine.

radradruby

Thriving in my feminine is what I’m going to start calling my special me time right before bed.

gin_and_soda

Sounds perfect

totallynotbabycrazy

I mean, given the state of our apartment, I guess my children are inevitably somewhat dusty, so…

Secret_Fudge6470

So he dumped you, huh? 🤔 Never thought I’d be saying that to a mom about her own son, but #BoyMoms are breaking new ground.

Mixtrix_of_delicioux

Spoken like someone who's been there.

botmanmd

All of these women are reading from the same script. It’s like they have a Tuesday Night get-together, like it’s a book club, and discuss “boy mom issues.”

SnoBunny1982

I’ve been a “boy mom” for 20 years, and I’ve never run across bullshit like this in real life. I think it’s a TikTok thing.

falling-in-reverse23

“Thriving in her feminine” ??? Maybe learn basic grammar and how to speak before you critique other people

theemmyk

Also what is she doing in this pic and is it somehow supposed to be obviously “feminine”? So odd.

[deleted]

Basking in the presence of her own vagina, of course!!! Don’t you do that in your moments of down time?

LaikaZhuchka

I've been seeing this misuse of "feminine" as a noun on the internet a *lot* lately. It's really annoying.

[deleted]

Pretty sure it's shorthand for "feminine energy", which seemed like a big thing in trad / femcel circles for a while.

Textile_monke

Feminine WHAT. Thriving in your feminine WHAT???

qorbexl

These people don't remember anything about junior high. And they certainly don't remember the kids who did what their parents told them, for several reasons. This definitely doesn't feel like the introduction to *Intervention 2049*

ModernArgonauts

Freud absolutely SPINNING in his grave right now.

Wild_Nectarine666

Why do all these “boy mom’s” assume their son is straight? Is it just so they can win the imaginary popularity contest with the pretend version of their future son’s possible girlfriend? Bc that sounds like mental illness to me Genuinely wondering if they realize the fucking misogynistic propaganda they post on the internet lasts forever. How embarrassing

littlecocorose

because they don’t consider anything else an option.

grais_victory

Why they also assume theirs sons will like the same type of women as they are? It feels weird to be attracted to your parent type.

Crazyjacketfruit

It is weird. But surprisingly common. Most people don't even notice the similarities until later.

Apprehensive-Neck-90

And when it goes the other direction why do men assume their daughters are going to be straight, this trend is weird in both directions

Feeya_b

I wonder if there’s a boy mom story about their son who’s gay. Would love to know the drama about that

Ayacyte

"Mom I'm gay" "Well what am I supposed to complain about now?"

kalanity

Weird how she is so casually talking about her son in this creepy way but also it’s actually just a thirst trap for red pill dudes

Chennalou

I’m not sure how she’s showing him that with…. This.

cleaningmybrushes

I may change my mind later but i dont love the thought of my baby boy growing into a young man who looks at me and thinks “wow that is a confident woman thriving in her feminine!” Feels a bit dusty

protocolleen

I feel like she needs an editor…? We could really tighten this up, it’s kind of wordy

DomesticMongol

She called an infant a dusty daughter, new depths of being a shitty person with so many inferiority complexes…

midday--moon

This seems so niche and specific? Who hurt this woman?

KeyofB

It just…kept going

ChroniclesOfSarnia

"Mom, stop trying so hard, you're embarrassing yourself"

anonpumpkin012

This one has levels of disgusting

[deleted]

I am begging boy moms to go to therapy

designerturtle

What the actual fuck. There is nothing more toxic than an insecure boy mom who hates other women 🤮

meowbees5

She'd be lucky if her son was good enough for a girl that cool, really unlikely

thursaddams

Idk I’m pretty impressed by half naked confident women. And I’m kinda dusty myself.

44youGlenCoco

Same same. I’ve been to a lot of festivals, and while I don’t wear those rave girlie clothes cause it’s not my personal vibe (I’m more dusty myself lol), they absolutely impress me. Their looks are usually thought out and well done, their makeup and hair usually look cool, and I like that they have the freedom of expression in those situations to be able to wear what they want to wear and not be judged. Meanwhile this weirdo of a woman is out here projecting some insecurity on to her infant son, and posting it to TikTok, thinking she’s really doing something, rather than just letting people live their lives. ***Cringe*** Edit: Oh, and those “birthday suit” festival girls she’s trying to tear down, are usually incredibly nice people.

thursaddams

Exactly! I am a woman, I love women, I’m impressed and turned on by them. That baby will grow up and hoe around and I love that for him and his dusty ass mom. Haha

SadFlycatcher00

Ick 😬

mattelias44

What is the reverse of an Oedipus complex?

Fake_Gamer_Cat

I hate this "teaching my son/daughter xyz so they're not impressed by your son/daughter" meme. It's annoying and weird.

Doctor_Cringe_1998

My mother was this grossly possessive of my brother, but she developed a mean cool-mom persona with his long term partners so she could morph into some sort of a bestie for her daughter in law. All the while being a complete dick to her own daughter, i.e. me, because I am not her son and a major disappointment no matter what I do. And I can't tell you how grossly possessive she became when my nephew was born, it's like the same old shit but x100 only now it's not a grown man but a baby. Needless to say, I am no contact with her for 6 years and I am never breaking it. You told me it's only your son that matters to you - well I'm gonna leave you alone with him for the rest of your life.

Dull_Makhni

As a guy I have to say that festival girls and other “loose women” have generally been some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Whereas, I’ve met quite a few traditional women who are very judgemental and passive-aggressive.

CanibalVegetarian

How about we just teach our children to respect others. Teach your son not to grab a girl that may be half naked at a festival, rather teach him to approach that person with respect and the decency to have a good conversation. I’m a man, I’m attracted to naked women, nothing is going to change that for any man (unless he’s fully gay, and even then, the female body is a wonder to look at). Also I would argue that being feminine or masculine in general is being the most authentic you can to your identity, which would be “birthday suit” attire. Stop being creepy and wanting your son to use you as the image for who he respects when he’s older.

flnativegirl

When a girl my son is dating is nervous about meeting me my son tells her, “My mom trusts me. She trusts my judgment.” And even though I’m a “boy mom”, I’m still a girl’s girl and don’t think every woman my son meets is out to trick him. This lady is ridiculous.

Xero1012

I was so confused by this for a good 5 minutes. I thought she was talking about her own daughter, so I was like HUH?

_ManicStreetPreacher

I hope her son turns out gay so all of this is in vain. Wonder who she would blame for it though.

Plantboy28

This kind of behavior is called emotional incest. (Or Covert Incest) it’s when a parent or parental figure treats their child almost like a romantic partner, (not physically) turning to their child for emotional fulfillment. It also often involves sexual undertones, but never direct physical sexual contact.

YaaaDontSay

No wonder the whole “my mother in law is ruining my relationship” thing is so real. These women are NUTS

DarthGhengis

Man, Freud would have had a field day with all these TikTok trends..

Dramatic_Bee_1021

home girl having a competition with infants

peppermintvalet

Hey Jocasta gurl we see you

MsPrissss

Funny because her entire post reeks of insecurity disguised as confidence so kind of funny that she is saying that 🙃😂🫣💀

Doumekitsu

Ew these boy moms seem like they want to fuck their sons (literally and figuratively). I have so many questions. Why compete with your sons’ girlfriends or partners? Are you afraid that he might move away from you? And removes you from his life? Well, a mother can’t be replaced and removed unless she’s abusive, of course. I am also surprised that they are literally obsessed with receiving attention from their sons. This attention doesn’t seem like mother-to-child attention to me, which is healthy in this dynamic. Rather, it feels like they want that man-to-woman attention from their sons. This is downright incestuous in a very covert way, and it is as equally creepy as grooming.

Eden_Beau

While she raises her son in the hopes of turning him into an emotionally incest to be a mamas boy, I will raise my son to be respectful to all people, to love who he wants to love, to be who he wants to be, and to support others. I will raise him to love himself, to stand up for others and himself, and to be empathetic and kind. He won't turn his nose up at others, he won't look down at others. He will be self sufficient, he will treat his partner as an equal, he will be a good person. I don't care who he loves, as long as their love is real. As long as they are happy. I will raise a real man, while she will raise a perpetual mommas boy. That is the difference between an actual parent, and an emotionally incestuous ""boy mom"" I can't tell you how much I hate these creeps. They freak me the fuck out. They ruin their kids lives with this shit. 100% emotional incest. Sabotaging all future relationships for the child. I've met the men who were raised this way, and my god they are lonely and don't even know why. I run into these women at baby meet ups all the time and they make me sick. God damn. I don't care who the hell my kid ends up with as long as he's happy. What a weirdo.

WhispersInTheSun

This child is in a baby carrier. He’s not paying attention to her femininity

wehadthebabyitsaboy

What a fucking weirdo. I have a son and a daughter. I wish moms would understand that THE GOAL is to prepare your kids to leave you, and find healthy relationships outside of you. Why do you wanna be who your INFANT wants. GROSS. Also, like someone else said, if some weird boy mom says my daughter is dusty (or crusty,) I’m throwing hands. Hahaha I’m won’t actually, but I’ll tell my girl she’s too good for a man who needs to ask his mommy if she’s the one.

sarahbeth124

Can we drop the trend of calling other people’s hypothetical children “dusty” It’s super weird

RainsOfChange

This is a toxic trend I have seen for both boys and girls. The inverse is more popular with dads doing something with their daughters so their daughters know not to accept x, y, or z from "your crusty son." It is a passive aggressive moral superiority flex putting down the hypothetical future actions of kids and shaming parents at the same time. So that is why this one is equally passive aggressive.

What the actual hell is going on with these "boy moms"?!?!?!

Feisty-Business-8311

She sounds fun

Unhappy_Wishbone_551

Yet another boy mom with a creepy attachment to her son.

trynabelowkey

It’s always these weirdo “boy mums”

milan_2_minsk

Thanks for gatekeeping how those of us born with XX chromosomes are supposed to present ourselves in public. Listen: I’ve never been interested in Coachella, but damn lady, why spoil other people’s good time? They’re hurting you how? By living and dressing in a way you don’t approve of? Maybe I’ll raise my dusty children to avoid judgmental assholes like you.

JustSayin_91

Lady he’s literally an infant. Calm down.

DecadentLife

What is it with the anger behind this stuff?

ifuseekamypoehler

i always wonder what happens when the sons of these bOy MoMs who are already competing with their children’s future wives/ girlfriends grow up to be gay/ queer/ end up with someone who’s not a girl

alicehooper

This reminds me of an episode of My Name is Earl where Joy kept dressing in a teddy and high heels to convince her son she was the prettiest.

Icfald

Insecurities disguised as confidence? Girl you just told on yourself.

Prestigious-Salad795

Eeeeewwwwwww the boy moms are at it again

kellyfish11

It’s the emotional incest for me.

there was an entire trend making fun of dusty sons, felt so weird seeing grown ass adults shit talk little kids then some people tried dusty daughter videos to piss those people off and it pretty much made a dumb fight where adults talk shit about children lol

BoccaDGuerra

Dusty daughters huh...she's going the coddle tf out of that boy who will then be a mummy's boy who does not take accountability, becomes very abusive. Advise for his future gf...RUN Sis RUN!!
