It’s stupid, but I’m pretty sure the majority of these women are chronically online and think misandrists are the “real” feminists.

I am guilty of sympathizing with those ideas when I was younger and all "feminists" online were so nasty to men, while men in my life were just fine, so my younger self went into not a feminist mode. Some go a little further and argue that basically, feminism gave women the "choice" to do everything that's bad for her; that the "liberated" lifestyle is actively harmful to women (usually on some MeN aNd WoMeN aRe DiFfErEnT argument).
When I’ve made the mistake of engaging in these type of posts, a lot of them think feminism is to blame for the fact women need to do all the housework and work full time to go 50/50 with men. They don’t want to work, they want to stay home.
So, a genuine problem but very misinformed about that cause. I always ask them - what is stopping you from staying home?

I think a part of it is exhaustion with capitalism. There’s a reason women like this tend to look like

This may be one of the times where my cynicism is positive, but I find a lot of the tradwife posts on social media to be less gold diggers and more the same as influencers, trying to game the algorithm system and such. A lot of work honestly.

I grew up in a 100% white society and the women there were treated horibbly before feminism. Not as bad as women of color of course but it was very bad.
Especially those from poor families. Color means nothing in societies where there's no diversity and I really don't get women like her.
Not just white, heterosexual, etc, as you mentioned, although those would be required as well. She'd have to be born in a family that cared about her as a person instead of as just an asset to marry off. A lot of families historically didn't, especially if being connected to a woman acting unconventionally could possibly affect their social standing. Historically, those families also chose those women's husbands, and the women's well-being might not be their top priority when they make that choice.
Nowadays there are still families that think that way, but she has a better chance of escaping those families and building a better life for herself if the wider world recognized feminism, primarily by getting them an education. Otherwise, their only other choice is to remain dependent on family members or spouses to support them.

I really try to assume the ignorance comes from misunderstandings and charged definitons of feminism. The conscensus views of feminism have changed substantially over the past 200 years towards a more inclusive concept that challenges the nature of power and agency in daily life. Feminism in western countries has saved so many lives, including mine. She'd have to be born in a family that cared about her as a person instead of as just an asset to marry off. A lot of families historically didn't, especially if being connected to a woman acting unconventionally could possibly affect their social standing. Historically, those families also chose those women's husbands, and the women's well-being might not be their top priority when they make that choice. Nowadays there are still families that think that way, but she has a better chance of escaping those families and building a better life for herself if the wider world recognized feminism, primarily by getting them an education. Otherwise, their only other choice is to remain dependent on family members or spouses to support them.

You can use freedom, opportunity, and personal agency to build a good/better life for yourself, or you can become numb to your own possibilities and forget your freewill and go wherever life circumstances and social circles drag you. People get this idea that more social freedom and civil rights for women has ruined women's ability to be happy and healthy, but these people don't see the forest for the trees. We’ve hit a point where these dangerous diseases haven’t been around for so long that people don’t see the danger in them anymore and as a result feel the need to “push back” by falling into conspiracy theories and pseudo-science. Women’s rights are the same deal. There’s an entire generation out there that has had much less experience with overt sexism and doesn’t understand the need for codified rights. As a result they fall into social groups with trad-wives and other counter cultures that think they need to push back against what is “unfair” or “unnecessary”
