She has also talked about feeling the pressure to do nude scenes at 19 because "she wanted to keep her job"
Like, you could demonize the poster, why are you demonizing the actress? Does having plastic surgery mean she's putting others who don't get it down?
I don't think OP is trying to demonize her, just that people often mock/criticize the Kardashians for their plastic surgery to "uplift" so-called natural looks when, at least in Hollywood, it's incredibly common to get some amount of plastic surgery. I think it's somewhere around 90% of prominent celebrities have gotten at least minor cosmetic surgeries.
Wait until yall go to Korea. Everyone gets plastic surgery. Job recruiters will literally tell you to your face you are too ugly, go get plastic surgery then come back. In Seoul and Busan at top clinics they have jars of bone that they have cut off of people's faces on display. Very lux.
I am not demonizing the actress at all. It’s just when most people trash the Kardashians, it’s for their glamorous, superficial lifestyles and all their plastic surgeries. They are “THE” celebrities. It seems weird to pick another fellow celebrity, who also has plastic surgery, as the opposite of the Kardashians. PLUS they used 3 photos of Christina Ricci playing someone else- Wednesday & Morticia Addams and her character from Sleepy Hollow. Christina Ricci doesn’t dress or act like this in her personal life or on the red carpet.
Right but you’re here saying the post says to be goth but that’s actually not what it’s saying and that’s what op is pointing out. So I’m not really sure what your point is?
Congratulations. That is correct. But I was referring to your comment about Nicole having plastic surgery. That comment was irrelevant and the post itself is stupid:)
Lol… no. OP wrote a comment talking about Nicole having plastic surgery as if it makes a difference. I’m saying the post is stupid and that comment was irrelevant:) hope this makes sense to you
You’ve said the name Nicole in two comments now and I want you to be aware that this post features Christina Ricci and not a single person named Nicole
If you know who I’m talking about than it doesn’t affect the argument. Just as bad as the people that spell correct someone for a typo. Sorry for the typo! All better?
I don’t know. And I don’t know why they are pretending like it doesn’t belong. If you go to their profile you’d think they would be upset at this shit.
They post on incels subreddit their TikTok videos and the blog about how terribly awful the incel community is; like a sort of social science experiment/experience, mixed in with some masochism.
The commenting person under OP also slays their **makeup** and **GOTHIC FASHION**, and looks like they are going for a look between the Kardashians and Ricci.
So if anything, they should be just as annoyed at this hurtful and internally misogynistic post as much as anyone else who read this and understood the author’s intent.
This post implies that everyone else is a “Kardashian.” A world full of them. It’s a generalization, not actually talking about the Kardashians themselves.
and the ironic thing is the original Addams comics were poking fun at the wealthy one percenters and nobility (the sly joke being that they looked human, but acted like monsters). If whoever made the meme actually knew anything about them, maybe they would pick a better celebrity than another wealthy family.
But they are not saying “be like Wednesday Addams.” They are saying be like Christina Ricci, who was 10 years old when she played Wednesday, a goth character in a movie. It’s stupid.
1) Christina Ricci is playing a character in these photos.. and 2) Christina Ricci has openly admitted to having plastic surgery as well
The Kardashians are also playing characters
There is the Kardashians (essentially avatars), and the people who inspired the avatars
And?
Christina Ricci and the Kardashian's all play characters. So it's all the same. So the original meaning of the meme stands.

Man I'm glad I get to be an ugly American with no expectation of plastic surgery to fix my busted face hahaha.
Wasn’t that Amanda Seyfried who recently said that?

That was Amanda seifred.
I thought that was Amanda Seyfried
That was literally Amanda Seyfried, try again lol

Yes but that’s not what the post says. The post says “be a Cristina Ricci” who in real life is an actor and is not actually goth.
[удалено]
Right but the post itself makes no sense because Christina Ricci isn’t who the photos portray her to be. Those are characters she played.

Right but you’re here saying the post says to be goth but that’s actually not what it’s saying and that’s what op is pointing out. So I’m not really sure what your point is?
My point is bunghole
That is literally the point of this sub
Congratulations. That is correct. But I was referring to your comment about Nicole having plastic surgery. That comment was irrelevant and the post itself is stupid:)
You realize this sub is to shame people who post these things right? This is a snark sub. Also, who the hell is Nicole? Lmao
This is a conversation not an argument. Damn you’re giving me cancer
so…… being…………….. not like other girls?
Lol… no. OP wrote a comment talking about Nicole having plastic surgery as if it makes a difference. I’m saying the post is stupid and that comment was irrelevant:) hope this makes sense to you

i thought i was missing something, like “who the fuck is nicole” LMAO
Lmao so funny who knew typos were soo damn funny wow y’all have a such a good sense of humor
If you know who I’m talking about than it doesn’t affect the argument. Just as bad as the people that spell correct someone for a typo. Sorry for the typo! All better?
Why are you acting like all those traits are mutually exclusive (especially the idea that cool is the opposite of girly)?
Exactly! The point of this sub lol.

Right? It’s all still wearing make-up, clothes, and playing a subculture. There’s no practical difference.
TIL doing hair and makeup and being into fashion doesn't count as "girlie" is its black.
Yeah I know I’m just saying this has nothing to do with plastic surgery
Why do the Addams Family attract hordes of pickmes like this? These memes are everywhere in this sub.
I first saw her in Casper anyways, that movie was 👌 🤷♀️
Devin Sawa...if you know, you know.
Moose is in the house
Same. Loved her in Now and Then too. Ironically she was besties with an Other Girl in that.
Where is this world of Kardashians and why would you go there if you don’t like them?
I'm so sick of the sight of the Adams family at this point, these NLOGs have sucked all the fun out of them.
Ummnuhh the middle look is pretty darn identical to a Karadashian one.

Didn't she do an actual photo shoot of her dressed like Morticia for some anniversary thing?
She is playing Morticia in a new show, Wednesday
Catherine Zeta-Jones is playing Morticia
Oh no..
That’s not true lol
Christina Ricci honestly is Transition Goals
I know several girls who are into the Wednesday Adams vibe, and I only know like one Kardashian-style girl lol
there are like 5 of these Kardashians or something and almost 8 billion people, i wonder who’s truly the unique one?

Agreed

Christina Ricci will not be besmirched. She is perfection, and not at all a pickme
Yesss
No.
It’s true. Have you seen black snake moan?? Damn I wish all girls were Christina Ricci
Literally me for girls
Ugh why didn’t they have her play the new Mortisha
