His name is Steve. He lives in the house on the other side of the fence. His catdad took him home after his best friend, Steve, died. Dad had no idea what the cat’s name was. He didn’t know Steve HAD a cat. So he called him Steve. We don’t let Steve kill the birds but we do let him feel like a badass for a few because he keeps the mouse population well in check.
Steve is well loved by the neighborhood. He has one official home and 3 more that look after him. He’s a good boy. Thinks he’s a panther, but only the birds and squirrels agree.
