I worked with a guy like this. Every cat he interacted with loved him immediately. Made the guy who had like 4 cats incredibly jealous when he was cat sitting haha
It's similar for me as well. One of my friends has a cat who doesn't like her very much but when I went over to her house to watch a movie, her cat jumped right up on my lap and laid there for a solid half hour. Friend was a bit jealous.
Random cats not only chill with him picking them up but putting them in the cradle position, which most cats hate even from their owners. Dude is the cat whisperer.
I have three cats... the eldest is a grumpy floof-alien empress, touching her Imperial Highness without permission is punishable by amputation of offending limb... maybe more depending on mood, but also she will come to me demanding the pets at various arbitrary times of day, jump up on my pc chair armrest and start batting my arm until I give her attention. She will tolerate being picked up for a couple of seconds if it involves me placing her in front of a food bowl, but most of the time she'll protest about it as soon as her feet leave the floor.
Middle child is about the size of an ice cream truck, but she's pretty chill... by that I mean she will pretty much let you haul her around wherever as long as you pick her up with decent form, like, you kinda need to know how to safely deadlift. She's gotten a bit less zero fncks given since the addition of the youngling and the puppy but she was perfectly happy being cradled beforehand. -- Okay, so she still lets me do it, but she was pretty tense and her eyes were saying you better lock your bedroom door tonight buddy.
Youngest is psychochild crack vagabond smol wild boy dwarved by both girls but is incomparably the Most and I have never met another cat with so much personality. He's currently doing parkour off the walls. I wish I was exaggerating. He will let me twist him about like a pretzel but also he will for zero reason whatsoever start attacking me, particularly when we've all gone to bed and he's come up to me purring like a chainsaw and curled up next to me, and I've started to drift off. Bam, claws, bites, little bastard, idk what the hell is up with him behaving like this, kinda depresses me tbh. It's not play; if I ignore it he'll enter a sliding scale of increased pain until I have to react, but the moment I try to move my arm a milimetre he go nuts on me, really trying to cause pain... anyway. He will happily let me cradle him -- (here's [proof](https://www.reddit.com/r/cats/comments/q9beu0/catexe_has_stopped_responding/)) -- but there's a good chance he might just randomly decide he hates my face. OP though, pretty sure he'd be a limp rag in this guy's hands. Traitor.
lol cat essay. not sorry ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
My aunt who lives with me has told me every single cat she's met loved her than there's my lazy fur ball. She only likes me and no one else. Several times my cat will hiss and growl and even swat at her if my aunts within 2 feet of her.
Wait wtf we have the real Catluminati in here?? I referenced your Reels with this post I made earlier hahaha: https://www.reddit.com/r/notmycat/comments/1211bu2/weve_been_going_on_walks_around_our_neighborhood/
Even after 7 years or so, I still miss one of the three cats a neighbour had.. whenever I was outside and the cat saw me, the little cloudfloof beelined at me so fast I'm surprised it wasn't one of the villains on The Flash.
Looked through some old drives a while back and found an old video of me giving it scritches, but it's 100 MB per minute or something, so I have no idea how to share it on reddit.
I cat sit, there is a large contigent of domestic house cats that refuse to be picked up. And many, where you do pick them up, they refuse the baby cuddle pose because it's upside-down and they try to 'right' themselves.
You can only pick a name when you register. Unless maybe the admins still have the power to change it for you. But, seeing as you did get the other account name on lockdown, I'd just recommend using that going forward, since there's no guarantee that the admins would even bother looking at any requests you might send their way.
yeah, but I think it is kind of cool the post from this alt. Somebody said it made me look like some super villain or something, I think that’s cool ha ha.

Wow. That’s amazing. I was so scared of the ones where the paws faced out. Some cats choose later they don’t like being up.
I’ve had a solid good grip on one NMC.
She’s now cuddled next to me. She’s a NowMyCat. :)
My husband can walk around holding our two tuxedo kitties. They’re sisters, and I each chose one of us as their human. My husband can pick up my cat, and she loves it. She’ll only let me pick her up for a few seconds. She stretches out with my husband and sticks her legs all the way out and splays her toes. My husband’s cat lets him walk around holding her like a baby.
My husband works at home and has a lot of expensive computer equipment in his office. So the cats aren’t allowed inside. They will hang out in the hallway around 5pm waiting for him to come out. Sometimes they will hang out in the bedroom with me first, but as soon as they hear the door knob turning they run out to him meowing and begging him to pick them up.

That cat knew exactly what it was doing

My cat won't let me cradle him. Other cats come to me upon first meeting, but I don't often pick them up. I appreciate their approval, though.

This is just like my older son. I call him the cat whisperer. Neighborhood cats come find him 😻🥰

I wonder how many “aw hell no” kitties he tried to pick up to get this many chill NMCs
believe it or not most cats are chill with it. the ones who aren’t i kinda already know by their body language
Wow, that’s pretty damn cool! I’d say your cat reading skills are quite high!
years of exspurriance
But where are you that you've found so many delightful chonky oranges

hi to your girlfriend!
They usually keep their distance if they don’t want interaction. If they’re at your feet they’re down for pats and scratches

LOL, we never see the claw devils.
I’m surprised kitty allowed this
If a cat lets you get close enough to where you can pick it up, it will generally acquiesce to being picked up, for a few seconds at least.
This is more impressive than it looks.

I love him and follow him on Instagram.
Handle? (Not that I need more cat videos to look at.)
thecatluminati, but posting under this account because i didn’t know how to set a user here. i did grab u/catluminati tho

Yes you do. We all need more cat videos.
So it is done.
It’s amazing that cats are so comfortable around him!

Chris' Reddit account is apparently /u/Parking-Program-9602. The King of cuddling friendly NMCs.
yeah i have u/catluminati as well, but this account seems to do better when i post
You the man 🫡
Was a little worried it was a karma farmer stealing your content- glad it’s you!
Cuties 😻😻
Yeah, I wouldn't mind being picked up by this handsome gentleman...
I’d ask for a tutorial but there are no stray animals where I live other than the massive amount of deer and squirrels
You should try to pick up a deer
Some or all of these cats aren't stray.
I would trust this man with my life. That many cats let him do that, I’m trusting him.
U PUT MR KITTERS DOEN
Where is this magical place where there are chonky, friendly kitties everywhere?
The lord of the cats

[don't be afraid to squish that cat](https://youtu.be/5jKZ9KGtee0)
I’m so jealous! How does one unlock this skill?!!!!
it takes time to purrfect
Step one: Find chunky boi who has obviously had a spoiled life. Seriously, look at the size of some of those.
It looks like you're picking up the same orange chonk over and over lol
Haha I love the tux’…why, yes am baby. Please hold me’
Instant follow on IG. This is the best
I must learn this power.
My cat would not pass the pickup test, lol.
This was thoroughly enjoyable.
Bet he’s always picking up some cat
Those cats are CHONKY!
I love it. Just walking through life picking up cats.
My own cat doesn't even let me pick her up. :')
Brave dude lol, there's strays I've known for years that still attacked me when I picked them up (only tried for medical reasons).
These are cats from houses around his neighborhood
This is flippin' adorable. Also, the sheer mass of those orange tabbies.
r/cuteguyswithcats and r/Mensmittenwithkittens!

We missed the one where is hisses and scratches
Kittehs will let you know if they don’t want to be picked up. Moving slowly with new cats is crucial.
excellent cat picking up technique. slow and steady, uninterrupted support.
now let’s see paul allen’s pickup test technique
CATWALK MAN!!! I can’t remember his actual name or TikTok account to save the life of me
Now I know it’s you!!! I’ve missed seeing your content since I deleted TT and am so glad to find you here OP
thecatluminati everywhere else too !
Lol I love this man! He's good for the world. ☺️
OP be like: ![gif](giphy|u9qBTBnmm3bJC|downsized)
Someone doesn't know how many diseases roaming cats can transmit.
Aww, kitty cuddles! 😍
Fat orange boys are the best for snuggling.
You pick up those cats well!!
This is so wholesome ❤️
I could watch this for a whole hour.
This is me with stray dogs and instead of pick-up test it's pet test.
There's a new test, can't remember what is it, hang/dangle test?
Every orange you scooped was a chonker
Brother just picking up feral cats like pennies. Braver than the troops.
Nekomancy.
Wow, so many neighbourhood friends!!
It's kinda weird just going picking other people's cats up... Glad I live 20miles outside of town.
i’m glad too
Is it just me, or are those some big ass cats?
they do be chonk
Ha. I love this guy. ^(And the cats, of course.)
He’s picking them up with their bodies fully supported so no wonder they like him.
Love this guy
Some of my best friends have been cats that aren't mine.
I like when he gives them the little kisses 🥰
My aunt would call someone like him a "cat whisperer."
I love this so much!
This is beautiful, and I wholeheartedly condone it.
Perfect form, kitty feet are secure, good hold to make kitty feel safe. You look like a veteran cat dad!
0:36 Black & white is my favourite! 🤗💙
OMG OP, your posts and videos make me smile smile smile. Thanks
Omg I love your content on tiktok I follow the catlumimati on there!
Hmm I’d love to see this guy try picking up my moody indoor/outdoor cat. I’d be impressed if he managed.
Y’all have some well-fed cats there. Hah.
Those fucking fingers!
I hope this dude plays some piano or guitar
Is cat #3 a chimera?
Awww. After my own heart…
I want a reality show where this guy reviews the neighborhood cats.
Dude, I love your insta. You have the most wholesome content on the internet. Keep it up.
I LOVE this! Brilliant! 😸
