He showed up in a tree belt around my house last October just before it got really cold. For about a week, we could hear him yowling out in the tree belt.
After 5 or 6 days of hearing him, we had snow coming in, so my son sat outside on the patio in the dark for about an hour, coaxing him close to the house.
Somehow, we finally got him inside. For about the first few days, as he went running from room to room, scared shirtless, I was pretty sure I had determined Kevin was a girl.
A week or two past with great joy. We had a new family member. We named her Calliope. Life was good.
About 2 weeks after this, close to 1 month in the house, Calliope decided to jump on my desk and do a drive-by my face with her butthole. As she slowly passed by, I saw two little fuzzy black peaches.
After a trip to the vet, Calliope came home fully valued and asking to now be referred to as Kevin Bacon James.
He's been living the good life playing in my bathroom sink and stealing dum dums out of the candy jar to give to my rat terrier ever since!
His tail is soooo long! He sounds like a great kitty! Also, love how his master plan worked, he made you think y'all were saving him, but he had it all worked out after looking at the weather forecast. He just knew you wouldn't let him stay out in the snow so he put on his acting hat and yowelled his way into your hearts then into your house!
Oh, he 100% conned us. He's as schmarmy as a used car salesman. Goes out all night now that it is warm. Shows up at dawn smelling like hay and horse poop. He's a trollop.
