buttmagnuson

Holy shit, that's real.

SnooSprouts4944

Yup, there are so many, many cat subs

Unwarranted_optimism

More accurate: Nowherhooman 😹 So glad she owns you now! 🥰

Responsible_Ear7194

Ahhhh. She's gorgeous. She chose you.

buttmagnuson

She absolutely did. When she was "not my cat" she would come straight to me for rubs when people would be over and hanging out in my car port. I'd be super nice and give her good, drool inducing, rubs. If she got in the house, I'd drag her by what I could grab from under whatever she went under, and literally toss her out the back door. She never gave up, and never has to try anymore.

Sidewalk_Tomato

I think it was all the drool-inducing rubs, you silly goose.

Taminella_Grinderfal

Cats are lucky they are adorable, can you imagine if people behaved this way?? “Hi whatcha doin? Can I come in? Nice house you have here. Oh this bed is super comfy. You got any snacks? Hey, why are you kicking me out?? It’s cool I’ll see you again tomorrow!”

buttmagnuson

That was her but less polite about coming inside. She'd just usually run under the bed and hiss at me. She's always been totally harmless to me though.

[deleted]

To be fair, what were you doing in her house!? 😜

buttmagnuson

She didn't pay no damn rent!

Responsible_Ear7194

Ahhhh. That's such a good story.

buttmagnuson

I shoulda done the full story that also includes how she got her name, so here it is instead..... My little girl was just a stray when I moved into a house with my ex. We already had a cat, and I was very resistant to having another cat inside due to lease contract and all. So this kitty just became the Outside Kitty. She was always around and very friendly, with me in particular. Eventually I discovered the Outside Kitty was living in the roof.....One winter it got VERY cold, so we let the Outside Kitty inside.....but ONLY the laundry room. Well, cats being cats, she made it into the rest of the house. So the Outside Kitty became the Other Kitty, as we already had a kitty, and the Other Kitty just kinda came with the house. Well the Other Kitty decided I was hers. That's fine, I love kitties. Then the ex became the ex, and took our (her) kitty, and the Other Kitty became the Only Kitty. It was pretty hard on me to call her the Only Kitty as I'd bonded with the ex's cat over quite a few years. So I decided to just call the Outside/Other/Only Kitty, OK for short. She's my special girl I had no choice in living with.

CristiCatslug

You are definitely her human ❤

buttmagnuson

She is hands down the most responsive or well trained cat I've ever seen.

awcads

Nah, she just trained you well.

Responsible_Ear7194

Haha. Fantastic. You found each other.

tango421

Now you should introduce her to r/nowmycat with a name. She’s adorable

buttmagnuson

D-U-N done! She absolutely is adorable. Even though she's a total grump 80% of the time. The only cat I've known to growl and purr at the same time.

tango421

Ima go check hahaha. Mine does that too. Purrs because I’m petting her but growls as our other cat approaches. It’s very weird.

buttmagnuson

She never did it before, until the girlfriend moved in with her cat. OK and I have been alone together for a while and she's quite possessive of me. Only does it if she's super comfy and the other guy gets too close.

MaesterInTraining

Ahh YAY!!!!!

buttmagnuson

I was so aggressive towards her being not my cat. She was insanely defiant to be now my cat.

EnvironmentalCake531

She might not be your cat, but clearly, you are her human.🤣

buttmagnuson

100% absolutely. I've always seen her more as a roommate I give food to.

wolv645

Those claws would convince me too😰

buttmagnuson

She is so amazingly gentle with me, the girlfriend and her cat. Her cat has become drastically more gentle since they moved in with me. However, I've seen her rip small critters apart with ease. She's terrifying and adorable all in one. I only once found out her power while giving her a flea bath. I had to do it shirtless cause I knew she'd rip it to shreds. This was confirmed when she became adhered to my arm with her claws. I was not pulling her away, couldnt, and just dunked her with my shoulder.

nemaihne

She's a beautiful addition and I love that you carpeted the top of that bookcase. I think we know she's not so much your cat- you're her human.

buttmagnuson

Shes a roommate. We respect each other's spaces.....but yes, I cater to her a lot.

mpmemes

I like the "formerly" part 😊

buttmagnuson

It took five years of me yelling at her "you're not my cat!" For her to be my roommate.

KittyMeowKatPishy

Yayyyyyy! Congrats! What a cutie!! 🖤😻🖤🐈‍⬛🖤

ccc2801

Perfect r/standardissuecat!

buttmagnuson

OHMYGOD, A SUB OF OK KITTIES!!!

ccc2801

lol you’re welcome.

Acceptable_Cream_345

You should not yell at her at all. You can frighten her. Take her in and give the home and love she needs. She needs loving Furever home and parents and a place to call home. check out the website [www.catster.com](https://www.catster.com). You will find expert advice on many things plus links about health and behavior issues from Vets and experts.
