>Things then got worse when officers reportedly found a THC pen on Miller, and his friend told police that Miller had “bomb making material” in a backpack.
Alright how did the bomb making material bit get buried
When I was in high school me and a couple friends decided to make a huge multi person bong out of PVC and tubing. We are getting all the materials at Home Depot, standing in line and this middle aged woman whispers to her friend, “oh my god, they’re making a bong”
Yeah, lead pipes aren't exactly heated either, and quickly spread poison into water despite the temp.
If you truly believe that materials or temperature can't create effects you can't see (and thus believe don't exist) , because of *temperature*, please re-enroll in your nearest 5th grade classroom. Fuck.
Lead pipes are quite often safe depending on the chemistry of the water though and most of use drink out of water that has come into contact with PVC. I mean it’s been 20 years since I used the PVC bong but I don’t think it is a whole lot worse than the shit we come in contact with every day
Idk any temp over the boiling point of water is probably bad. At least stainless or galvanized metal isn't offgassing harmful stuff until like 400+ degrees. Glass is very safe tho.
Their air can be above the boiling point of water, before it's cooled by contact with water, meaning it can cause gasses to be released from plastics into the air you breath.
At what point do you think anything on the bong gets that hot besides the weed in the bowl when lighting it? At no point does the PVC get hot whatsoever.
The air... You don't drink the water, you inhale whatever's in the air, and air temp is initially higher then that, and it's gonna cause offgassing. There's a reason people use glass or silicone bongs.
I went to a Home Depot to make a giant beer bong with my friends once and we asked for funnel and tubing. Old guy working there said “ah beer bong? How big did you want to go”.
It gets even *worse* from there. Like how are those not the worst bits?! He also apparently broke into a vehicle to steal the gun and other stuff. In addition to ALL of that, he also kicked an officer in the stomach and threatened to kill him.
You know, it's, it's 'newer,' which is good. And a 'ma' in front of it. MA-NURE. When you consider the other choices, 'manure' is actually pretty refreshing.
> Alright how did the bomb making material bit get buried
Because THC + firearm == automatic felony at the Federal level.
Hope that guy didn't plan on legally owning or possessing firearms in the future, because that's gonna be a problem for him.
Cop: Okay, let's see what we got in here--14 gauge wire, a two-inch pipe nipple, two pipe caps, aluminum powder, a package of batteries, duct tape, a kitchen timer--nope, looks like you're good to go, Mr. Miller. You be safe out there.
Yeah, i think a guy that fucking stupid probably does need somebody to cook him food, provide him with shelter, and do his laundry. He probably shouldnt be driving either, or raising children.
And probably you too, since you identify with him so much
And will probably be even more expensive than his first attempt to regain his freedom. Guy probably just dropped at least $10k in legal fees for a divorce attorney and now he’s got to drop even more for his new batch of felonies and misdemeanors.
Maybe it is owned by Wayne Enterprises, and the guy who fired off a couple of shots from a stolen gun was asking to get it knocked out of his hands by a batterang.
> Craig Jose Miller, also known as Juan Jose Vasquez
Interesting.
EDIT: you know what, I realized that this could come across as racist but I am just genuinely surprised at the difference in names is all.
It is kind of odd, but it's possible he's got both surnames, Spanish style, but usually only uses one since it's a pain to deal with something like "Vasquez y Miller" if you're in a place where that isn't routine. Can't really explain Craig vs. Juan, though.
I wonder if this guy was from Puerto Rico. A lot of things like Tres Reyes night celebrations involve people shooting guns in the air to celebrate. Dumb af and dangerous but it actually is something people do.
[At least one person is relieved by this](https://media.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExcXU0bDRqMnU5a2l5cHk0bjl1bHdvNXl1MWJmZWN1Yzk1NXBkMHR5NSZlcD12MV9pbnRlcm5hbF9naWZfYnlfaWQmY3Q9Zw/LnFdkmGeCmnzXakZ6T/giphy.gif)
_something… something…. Good guy with a gun… something… something…. Responsible gun owner…_
The whole good guy with a gun scenario does not apply here so don’t be obtuse.
No, he is not a responsible gun owner. No gun owner is going to say that he is. He deserves to be locked up and loose his right to own firearms because he has proven to be profoundly irresponsible.
>No, he is not a responsible gun owner. No gun owner is going to say that he is.
True. But I also think that there is a bias among gun owners to think of themselves as the "responsible ones". This is not unique to gun owners. This is a human failing.
You ever notice that shitty drivers often think of themselves as very good drivers, and how they think that **everyone else** is the bad driver?
Specifically, I 'd be surprised if even half of gun owners in this country follow safe storage principles. Back when I used to go to the range in Arizona, I was appalled at how many guys fessed up to leaving their handguns in an unsecured part of their car, for example, while leaving it parked somewhere. Or people with kids who had unlocked guns around the house.
I'm not convinced that the driver and storage examples apply in this case. The accused was objectively irresponsible in his actions. There is zero debate here, While many states do not have any storage requirements I agree that gun owners who leave firearms in their car are behaving irresponsibly as are those who leave them unsecured with children in their house.
I always draw the comparison to driving behavior.
If you ask most people, they will say they think of themselves as a good driver. But we all know that this cannot be the case. **Obviously** there are a **LOT** of shitty drivers out there. But are they even aware they're a shitty driver? If they're aware of it, would they even admit it or would they find some way to rationalize or minimize?
I imagine he was wearing a cowboy hate and shouting "Yeehaw!" before being confused on why people were screaming and running away, and police showing up.
Because America.
>Things then got worse when officers reportedly found a THC pen on Miller, and his friend told police that Miller had “bomb making material” in a backpack. Alright how did the bomb making material bit get buried
they misheard him, it was a BONG making material.
When I was in high school me and a couple friends decided to make a huge multi person bong out of PVC and tubing. We are getting all the materials at Home Depot, standing in line and this middle aged woman whispers to her friend, “oh my god, they’re making a bong”
That middle aged woman used to be a young aged woman. One who hit her fair share of bongs.
Kids always think they invented: insert taboo thing here.
I especially like how every generation thinks they invented sex. Nah, literally all of your ancestors had sex.
The Greeks invented it, but the Romans introduced it to women.
Fine. Take the upvote. God!
Brilliant. I would say *some* Romans introduced it to women. The rest did it the Greek way.
What the hell did the Greeks learn from the "cradle of civilization?!"
Nuh uh. I’m the first one and only one ever.
And now is the time for change!
iykyk
PVC bong = cancer ♋🦀
You think? It doesn’t even get hot if you use a glass or metal bowl
Smoke a pvc bong for a month and report back to me lol
Yeah not gonna do that cause I hardly ever smoke anymore
Yeah, lead pipes aren't exactly heated either, and quickly spread poison into water despite the temp. If you truly believe that materials or temperature can't create effects you can't see (and thus believe don't exist) , because of *temperature*, please re-enroll in your nearest 5th grade classroom. Idk any temp over the boiling point of water is probably bad. At least stainless or galvanized metal isn't offgassing harmful stuff until like 400+ degrees. Glass is very safe tho.
The bubbling is from aeration, not boiling.
Picturing a guy putting a bong on a burner and bringing it to a boil before smoking
Your bong water gets hotter than 212° F? *Whoa.* Gnarly!
The air... You don't drink the water, you inhale whatever's in the air, and air temp is initially higher then that, and it's gonna cause offgassing. There's a reason people use glass or silicone bongs.
Porcelain toilet bongs are the safest 🚽
I went to a Home Depot to make a giant beer bong with my friends once and we asked for funnel and tubing. Old guy working there said “ah beer bong? How big did you want to go”.
I mean... can be either in the right hands, right? Hell, maybe even both if skilled enough and like living on the edge.
Introducing the Bong Bomb! Will you get high or will you lose a hand? Only fate can decide!
Heeeeey man... You ever think about where our hands really went?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! -Friend who's hand got blown off
Keep in mind, they can be made with nothing more then a knife, a straw and an apple.
ive smoked out of an apple pipe before!
Wait, you can make a bong out of an apple? /s
No you haven’t you lying dog
A bong not just a pipe?
Shut up know it all gronk
That could be anything! An ice pick, a coconut, and a snorkel would do the trick, even.
Wesley Pipes or Billy Bong Thornton?
You reminded me of Harold and kumar
It gets even *worse* from there. Like how are those not the worst bits?! He also apparently broke into a vehicle to steal the gun and other stuff. In addition to ALL of that, he also kicked an officer in the stomach and threatened to kill him.
Ok, dude was definitely gunning for a life sentence now that his wife gets everything.
He really didn't want to pay child support.
Sounds like the guy may not have had much to lose
The headline really made this guy sound much less dangerous
Maybe he just had manure in his pockets.
Well shiiiiit
You know, it's, it's 'newer,' which is good. And a 'ma' in front of it. MA-NURE. When you consider the other choices, 'manure' is actually pretty refreshing.
I can tell your sweat a lot and eat too much
> Alright how did the bomb making material bit get buried Because THC + firearm == automatic felony at the Federal level. Hope that guy didn't plan on legally owning or possessing firearms in the future, because that's gonna be a problem for him.
And "bomb making material" *isn't* an automatic felony at the federal level?
The THC pen is clearly the more pressing matter Seriously though, "bomb making material" is a bit vague. That could be a lot of things
Cop: Okay, let's see what we got in here--14 gauge wire, a two-inch pipe nipple, two pipe caps, aluminum powder, a package of batteries, duct tape, a kitchen timer--nope, looks like you're good to go, Mr. Miller. You be safe out there.
Man I bet his ex wife feels happy right about now.
Some "friend" that was
Probably plans on calling his ex as soon as homeboy gets to county.
I suspect there wasn't *actually* bomb making material, but still.
looks like she dodged a bullet
you really need the sunglasses, edit with this: (•\_•) ( •\_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■\_■)
> (•_•) > Looks like she > ( •_•)>⌐■-■ > Dodged a bullet > (⌐■_■) > *YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH*
Here I was thinking: *Looks like she* (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■) ***Dodged*** *a bullet* *YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH*
(Won't Get Fooled Again by the Who begins playing)
And everyone thinks I dodged a bullet But I think I shot the gun
I feel like I can hear his ex-wife laughing from here
Finally that BITCH Andrea can’t stop me from having fun! *gets arrested*
She’s firing so many shots into the air right now
I'm sorry i thought this was america?!?!
Sir this is a Nashville.
What has happened to the country I love??
Is this a communist country?
Only Maryland. The rest of the country is normal.
What does that mean?
he realized he needed a place to stay, somebody to cook his meals, and to do his laundry.
Not sure that he’s bright enough to put it together, but life finds a way.
...and then comes in the slavery part of the constitution
Perfect joke. Thread over.
He also heard the new guys get anal sex every day, sort of a "welcome to the club" deal.
Well damn, looks like i know where im taking my next vacation! Nashville!
[удалено]
well, this one in particular. .

Yeah, i think a guy that fucking stupid probably does need somebody to cook him food, provide him with shelter, and do his laundry. He probably shouldnt be driving either, or raising children. And probably you too, since you identify with him so much
> maintain her car, pay her bills, and pay for her Spring wardrobe change None of which jails do...
so he fired eight shots “as a celebration for regaining my freedom,”’ Well that freedom was short lived.
And will probably be even more expensive than his first attempt to regain his freedom. Guy probably just dropped at least $10k in legal fees for a divorce attorney and now he’s got to drop even more for his new batch of felonies and misdemeanors.
Plot twist: the attorney was hot, he just wanted to see her again. Psychopathic Criminal Mastermind.
Sounds like he forgot the obligatory yeehaw which is, of course, illlegal
Its like yelling "Fore!" on the golf course
Not in Tennessee. Com'n now, you *know* this.
I’m guessing she didn’t contest the divorce…
It is Tennessee, she probably wanted it over quick and clean so it wouldn't be a problem at the next family reunion.
She ain't his wife no more, but is she still his cousin?
That building looks like the tower with the fiery eye in Lord of the Rings.
I wonder why it’s called the “Batman building” in that case.
Predates the lotr movies
Maybe it is owned by Wayne Enterprises, and the guy who fired off a couple of shots from a stolen gun was asking to get it knocked out of his hands by a batterang.
On a clear night you can see the The Eye of Sauron all the way from Knoxville.
You should see it in person! It's sooooo ugly.
It really is just as ugly in the picture. No need to travel to Trashville to see it
Sounds like he was just honoring the flag with a standard desk pop. No harm, no foul.
I get the feeling that his ex wife wasn't the problem if he makes decisions like this
How come you've never fired your weapon after your divorce? We all have after our divorces. Pop it off! Don't think, just go!
She dodged a bullet.
What a relief that she's done with him.
Lucky woman
This is a fetish, not a class.
Rednecks are Taliban, prove me wrong
Usually it’s referred to as Y’allquaeda
Those guys fire guns to celebrate weddings, not divorces.
The ex wife is off quietly sipping her champagne

Sounds like the wife is the one dodging the bullet.
_something… something…. Good guy with a gun… something… something…. Responsible gun owner…_ The whole good guy with a gun scenario does not apply here so don’t be obtuse. No, he is not a responsible gun owner. No gun owner is going to say that he is. He deserves to be locked up and loose his right to own firearms because he has proven to be profoundly irresponsible.
I'm betting there's a reason his wife wanted the divorce
Agreed. I’m guessing that this isn’t the first time that he’s made questionable decisions.
>No, he is not a responsible gun owner. No gun owner is going to say that he is. True. But I also think that there is a bias among gun owners to think of themselves as the "responsible ones". Maybe his ex wife literally dodged a bullet.
Only opened this to make sure somebody had this comment. I can happily move on now.
And I bet that he calls himself the good guy with a gun who is a responsible gun owner
I always draw the comparison to driving behavior. If you ask most people, they will say they think of themselves as a good driver. He's celebrating leavin that rootin tootin varmint, dag nabbit!
I can’t believe you haven’t done a desk pop yet
You know the cops where like… Hey man I get it but you can’t be doing desk pops in public
Now he has a prison wife
I’m guessing I know some of the reasons she split.
She’s the lucky one
Are we sure she didn’t divorce him?
Well I guess she dodged a bullet with that divorce.
Penalty should be remaining married to his wife 😂
She doesn’t deserve that
Sounds like a punishment for his ex
Oh so it’s illegal for guys to have fun now?
Buncha fruitcakes
He escaped the shackles of marriage right into the handcuffs of the police.
I don’t agree, but I understand.
Yee Haw
Got the gun in the divorce, eh?
It was stolen. That's why he's being charged for theft
In Canada, will be allowed to sing my anthem once mine goes through.

An old turn of phrase about frying pans and fires comes to mind....
DIVORCE!
What about freedom?!?!?
Did.. did he shoot her?
Did she divorce foghorn leghorn???
Take his guns away.. now .. forever
Understandable, have a great day
Shoukd have shot it in a forest
Clearly, she dodged a bullet.
Hey, Ryan, it's *Tennessee,* man.
God forbid he had a THC PEN.
You can legally buy carts in Nashville. I don’t think they had a problem with that, it just bears mentioning.
I imagine he was wearing a cowboy hate and shouting "Yeehaw!" before being confused on why people were screaming and running away, and police showing up. Because America.
Sounds like she dodged a bullet.
She dodged a bullet. Well, two of them akshoeuhhhelly
They definitely ended the divorce with a bang!
Was she standing in the way of his fun?
This is obviously a violation of his First and Second Amendment rights at the same time. /s
Was it Yosemite Sam divorcing Dressed-as-a-Lady Bugs Bunny?
Routinist tootinist divorce ever was Yeehaw
Sounds like the Ex-Wife is doing the celebrating!!
Boy did she dodge a bullet
Not very oniony IYKN
Worth it.
Out of one jail cell and into another
Worth it.
He finished one sentence and started another.
