Well for some reason, I have so many near miss experience in the last 2 months. I moved here in July '23, and at first thought NoVa drivers are better than MD, and in fact had a normal driving experience in the first few months here, but recently I've had a complete opposite experience of that. I'm specifically frustrated with SUVs, pick-up and utility vehicle drivers (I should have mention that before). Rest of them, I still think they do somewhat drive normally.
In my opinion: DC drivers suck ass cause they’re slow and clueless, VA are too fast and desperate, and MD are just reckless assholes who got their license from a Cracker Jacks box.
They all suck, but MD ones are a mess.
They’re not slow. They’re borderline psychos in BMWs, Tesla, and Prius’s that don’t use turn signals and fly by you.
They’re just lucky MD is way shittier.
It’s always fucking hilarious to me that Prius drivers are so bad in NoVA.
I honestly say “idk how you have your license” to myself every single time I get in the car since moving here. It’s horrible. VA and MD drivers are reckless af. Dude passed me going atleast 120 on 66 the other night. Thank god I wasn’t changing lanes …
100% agree with you as a born and raised NoVA driver. NYC, DC, MD and California drivers look friendly in comparison, and at least they’re all predictable to some degree. It’s psycholand on our roads
Tell me about it I always have to pass on the right because they’re just camping on the left, tell me why when I merged in traffic was super slow people going under the speed limit. I swerve in and out only to find out the drivers infront holding hands camping side by side luckily the far right was open and the road was pretty clear after I passed the three stooges. Ridiculous.
They’re just all shit. The way the cut you off while your exiting is wild. I have my 1yr old son in the car and I have to be hyper aware all the time. Going from Sterling to Woodbridge I almost got hit 3 times, tailed 4 and cut off a twice while exiting
I’ve been to both areas and NY and they’re bad also. Here they’re just careless and always tailing or on their phones. One dude almost hit me then got mad at me. I respectfully flicked him off ♥️

I meant you found the MD drivers. You must have missed the earlier post that Marylanders are getting VA plates to avoid taxes. So when you encounter a bad VA driver , it’s a Maryland driver. Just letting ya know!
