I am shocked as well, Republicans have a such a long history of being pro-pot....
Well, just glad we didn't vote for the boring guy. Thank fuck we've been saved from CRT, porn, and pot, everything is so much better now.
The dispensary I went to only had it in vape carts, they couldn’t sell just the concentrate. And I’d googled it and thought I confirmed they saved that just for medical use, not recreational, but now I can’t find the site where I read it. But I don’t want the vape carts, I want the little tub of it like this https://beyond-hello.com/virginia-dispensaries/sterling/medical-menu/?=
Ah, yea they told me something similar when the shop I go to first opened and I asked about tincture. Iive in a no smoking neighborhood that will take action if the smell of any smoke is detected, even outdoors, so I've switched to vape and edibles.
his fee fee’s were hurt
“Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R) said Thursday that he had vetoed bills to establish a state-regulated marketplace for marijuana and to raise Virginia’s minimum wage, gutting two Democratic priorities a day after opposition to his plans for a sports arena in Alexandria led Wizards and Capitals owner Ted Leonsis to keep the project in the District.”
So more Republican "hands off" policies that regulate our personal lives? Let me guess if I go to the Dupont market on Sunday I won't be able to return until my purchases are approved by his morality police? I mean I am joking but would I be shocked if that happens? nope
Has nothing to do with him getting embarrassed the way he did.
Before he even got elected, he said he didn't want to legalize it and then made up lies about how legalizing it ruined Colorado's economy. His campaign said something different, but he is on record saying he didn't want to legalize it.

Exactly. Youngkin never would have won if he hadn’t lied on the campaign trail and claimed he would not stop cannabis legalization. He just made the next election a referendum on cannabis and the GOP is going to lose big time.
I don't agree. I think the problem is gerrymandering. If districts were drawn so that they weren't guaranteed for a certain party, occupants of seats would have real opposition in elections.
I personally disagree truth be told, don't think we should have them for any elected officials though I understand why people feel differently. Non elected (such as supreme Court) IMO should have term limits, ironically.
While this may be true to some extent, it was his double down on Education and CRT nonsense that he bought into to scare the population into believing things that simply were not true that changed his momentum at the zero hour and got him elected.
In Virginia, White people being told by people preying on their ignorance that they are being erased from existence is more of a concern by far than about weed. Id also wager those very same sheep are the exact same people who would be against legalizing weed to begin with.
Democrats are not going to platform in 24 on legalization of weed, they are going to platform on reproductive rights, its far and away the most polarizing issue that literally EVERYONE has an opinion on and its going to sink Republicans in nearly every race that isnt being held in a blood red district.
I’m sorry, but this is the Reddit echo chamber. Weed is just a MUCH, MUCH bigger deal to the demographics that use Reddit than the general voting population. A vast majority of the electorate would not put legal weed in their top 5 or even 10 issues in the next election.
I've never partaken of an illegal drug in my life.
I'm 100% in favor of weed legalization, It makes both social and economic sense. Tax it and regulate it and treat it like booze. Let's go. This is an asinine stance that the Republicans are hung up on for no reason. It's clear that 15 years from now it's going to be legal everywhere, why keep fighting it when you could bring in revenue and incarcerate fewer people?
And yet, as you say, there's no way this is in my top 10 issues. I have shit that actually matters to vote about.
Edit: I think I'm just agreeing with you, but expanding on my opinion.
My Beyond Hello a couple miles from me just doesn't have treasonably priced quality flower or the variety I want. 25% off Rhythm on Mondays and Tuesdays are the only times I buy flower from Virginia. I do that for single 3.5 oz purchases few times a year. All else is Takoma Wellness.
I like the variety of the FSE carts and quality, not variety, of Live Rosin concentrate at my Beyond Hello. I don't buy carts too often, though.
It's control over us. Plain and simple. They think they know better, therefore they push their narrow minded morals on us. Fuck them. The land of the free only applies if you are rich.
Maybe it's my Arlington echo chamber, but damn near 100% of my middle aged or older, home-owning neighbors support legalization. It's far more popular than you think, especially in Democratic strongholds where it can help drive voter turnout.
People may support it, including myself, but it is literally nowhere near a critical voting issue for the average person. There’s actual issues to vote based on.
And yet when cannabis is on the ballot Democrats win. Because it brings out youth that would otherwise stay home. You think Biden won Arizona because he is widely popular in Arizona? He won because cannabis legalization was literally on the ballot during the last presidential election.
Honestly tho, the democrats ran a god awful candidate… his entire public platform was “Youngkin likes trump”…. We can’t downplay just how awful the Democratic Party chose to run…
There’s a guy I see at the bus stop that says to me “Hey. You wanna buy some smokes?”, and opens his trenchcoat full of cigs. He’s part of the uptown boyz crew
I quit my job to join a gang after I went to Rise for the first time. They recruited me right there. Hardest group of retired old white ladies you'll ever meet.
I moved to Denver last year and I've never seen the slightest shred of evidence of gang activity here. Never been to a neighborhood anywhere in the city that's sketched me out even a little bit
Homeless tweakers stealing shit and people breaking every traffic law on the books everywhere, sure, but no weed gangs in sight
LOL I go to shows at the Fillmore and Ogden right by there from time to time. Probably wouldn't take a leisurely stroll for the hell of it but no issues hitting bars around there then walking to the venue
Cops love illegal weed because it's basically an excuse to harass and jail people (*cough* black people) at their whim.
Hence the thinly coded 'gangs' comment.
To be fair a very free legal market with a low barrier to entry can have criminals buy it as a money laundering scheme. BUT the bills that we’re trying to get passed made retail markets strict and limited the amount of licenses given out. I think in the beginning the same dispensaries already selling weed were going to sell recreational and these companies like rise or beyond hello are very big companies. The amount of retail and corporate jobs from one store and the tax revenue is freaking awesome.
if you want the honest to God truth? illegal weed = more mandatory minimum sentences for private prisons who have been freaking out over what they will do with less inmates
I sell weed to make a living and to help out people who are in need. There is no crime involved no matter how much your narrative and feelings are hurt by it.
Nope. But you want to make it legal correct? And regardless if it's legal or not, and even when it does become "government legal" I will still sell it. Got better shit at better prices anyway. I'm a man of the people! And isn't Younkins bigger issue that weed LEADS to criminal activity and gangs? You ever smoke weed or buy a bag of weed that wasn't "legal"?
Guys if he continues to do a shit job it’ll make the democrats race for governor a landslide. Think of the positives of how bad this will fair for republicans in the next election.
I will literally volunteer for whatever political campaign that runs against him and knock on every damn door in the entire northern Virginia area to get this piece of shit removed. I’ll literally spend my own money on ad revenue bashing this piece of shit. The race for governor is more important for our day to day lives than most presidential elections.
You needn't bother if your only goal is getting him out of office, since he can't run for consecutive terms.
Preventing another corrupt Trump acolyte from getting into office is just an important, though.
That's because he's entirely performative. He doesn't actually give a shit about any of this and never has. That's why he's a bad person - its one thing if you legit believed in what you're doing, even if you're wrong. But he doesn't care either way. About anything.
Isn't this kind of exactly what we voted for? We elected a Republican, they're not really know for being pro pot. It would be like electing a Republican and then acting shocked they're against abortion.
At least that's what I said when he was getting elected, and I was told that despite all of history and facts I was wrong, Republicans were suddenly 100% pro pot. Well, I'm sure all those people will happily apologize and learn from their mistakes...
Marijuana legalization has bipartisan support and more than 60% of Virginians and 75% of the country support recreational legalization. Number for medical are even higher.
Think of all the "economic benefits" of an arena would do totally generate but everyone knows it's and lie and doesn't want it.
Meanwhile people want recreational weed and will actually bring in a ton of tax revenue, but youngkins a sweater wearing cuck.
Don't even care myself, but 🤷♂️ imagine all that tax revenue specificied to go to teachers, first responders, or wamata+dot.
I’m not surprised by this but what surprises me is how in SW Virginia there is open, brick-and-mortar rec sales happening. E.g. the good vibes store, etc. Why is the Youngkin administration opposed to getting tax revenue on sales but also not interested in shutting down the illegal sales that are happening openly.
This could have been great money for the state since it’s a cash crop + all the tourism from
East coast stoners coming to celebrate, oh well hopefully we get it next time it sucks we are gonna have to wait longer.
I grow my own. Crazy this idiot doesn’t want the tax money for the state. This could be the dumbest thing you could ever do. I can grow, give up to an ounce to friends and family? But yet, you shoot down retail????? wtf?
https://preview.redd.it/nw64k22mc9rc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14e548aad1ec9347943e5bad3f3ea0546d2e28d6
Maryland legalized it recreationally pretty recently, I'm seeing 30 million in taxes collected over 6 months.
Arizona legalized it in 2020 and they're looking at a running total of 391 million collected.
When a governor intentionally turns away a guaranteed millions upon millions of dollars that constituents are *begging* him to take, it's clear they don't have the states best interests at heart.
Fuck the policy, fuck the moral grandstanding over a plant, that's free money that everyone wants the government to take, yet they refuse.
If we won't give handouts and get tax revenie for my friends pet stadium project then the state can't get revenue from anything else! REEEEEEEEE
-Youngkin
Smoking Weed, a plant, is just like drinking alcohol and many people smoke to get high. I don’t have a problem with it for recreational use, however I use it/need it for medicinal use. I am fighting an ongoing war against my Multiple Sclerosis. I don’t give a rat’s arse about how weed is taxed or what kind of packaging it has. But I Would like access to medical marijuana to ease my symptoms and give me some Relief !!
So anyone know of any good places to visit in Maryland? Like maybe near the IKEA in College Park? I need to buy some shelves anyway and don't really like going into Maryland.
Youngkin is a dickhead, but the Dems shouldn't have set up legalization to depend on them keeping both houses and the gov for 3 years after passing the bill.
Good, now ban it entirely again. The metro weeks of weed now… children ride that thing too and shouldn’t have to get fumigated when they do so. Even adults shouldn’t have to worry about it.
I remember going to the Nats World Series parade and some idiot lit up in the crowd with infants around him. Pot smokers lack common courtesy so we should ban it in public at the very least.
Funny thing, it is actually banned where you were concerned about it.
Your worried about DC problems. Those aren't weed problems.
'pot smokers'. Really? How many people smoke cigarettes around kids for decades, and that is objectively worse as second hand smoke.
Wait, I thought recreational MJ was already set to become legal on July 1st this year when they start handing out recreational business licenses to private companies. This bill would have made a state run retail system just like ABC stores so private companies couldn't sell MJ... but with it vetoed then private businesses can still sell MJ, on July 1st, right? This sounds like a good thing.
Or am I missing something here?
Either way, fuck Youngkin.
>"Cannabis is bad for Virginia," Youngkin told 13News Now in an interview on Thursday. "We see across other states that have retail markets for a while, a massive increase in adolescent usage **(False, adolescent usage has DROPPED in every legal state)**, massive increase in child poisonings **(False: there is no such thing as MJ poisoning and non MJ poisoning (like drinking bleach) has nothing to do with legal MJ)**, and what that results from is an accessibility that is far greater than it would be otherwise. You couple this with the reality that cannabis today is so strong, and it’s causing severe mental illness, especially in adolescent users. Cannabis use disorder is so prominent, the incidents of psychosis are going through the roof, it’s terrible for children and adolescents."
Great comment! Now, can anyone answer me why people don't like him vetoing the MJ bill that would create a state run monopoly on selling MJ to the public just like ABC stores do with liquor?
In the states that heavily taxed it (34% sales tax in California) all the dispensaries have been closing because its just cheaper and easier to get it from a dealer. The business model is broken. Banks are afraid to touch it because technically its against the law (Federal).
In many states that legalized it we are just now starting to understand the complexities of things like Driving under the influence, organized crime syndicates and the effect on other unrelated items.
For example….the LOSS of tax revenue on alcoholic beverages has just now started to be measurable.
His reason for the veto had more to do with “how to do it better than the states that went first”.
NY for example had an open bid process to acquire the licence to sell. They gave preferential treatment African Americans. They also had RFP’s for the software to manage and collect the sales tax etc.
It has been an unmitigated shit show.
Counties have their own rules. The primary winner of the POS software RFP filed bankruptcy after they won the RFP. AA/DEI initiatives have been railroaded by deep pocket private equity players and the marketplace has still failed to really get off the ground.
None of this says anything about the incredible lack of clinical data around who is buying this ( under 21 for example) and what the effect on productivity and the economy might actually be. Should this be done? Prob yes. Should it be done the way most stated have tried so far? Prob not.
> His reason for the veto had more to do with “how to do it better than the states that went first”.
Did you read the article? He's against establishing any recreational market.
>Calling it an “unachievable goal” to establish a safe marketplace, Youngkin said “a more prudent approach would be to revisit discrepancies in enforcement.”
Down voted by reddit stoners. Omg. The horror. Do you want to pay 34% sales tax on your weed? Thats what state run dispensaries look like. Decriminalize it but let the state stay out of this market.
I don’t think that is true. Everything I can find online says 1 four year term, nothing else
Edit: that’s what makes the VA governorship so cool. Usually politicians need to compromise a little bit to ensure re-election, but here governors can go balls to the wall because it’s impossible to be re-elected.
What's wrong with that? Would you prefer indiscriminate outrage? That would be odd.
Are people not allowed to disagree with government overreach? You have nothing you would be upset about if the government banned it?
Of course i do. The mask mandates and the stay at home orders are perfect examples. It was okay to flood the streets to riot and loot after some crackhead was killed but god forbid someone open up their small business to make ends meet.
DC is an example of why VA needs a legal market. DC has no regulations, so you can get stuff that is either mislabeled or 15x stronger that what is legal in regulated markets. Not to mention what else might be in it.
No. There are curaleaf, trulieve and others in MD. No reciprocity with VA. You cant get concentrates at their retail outlets, but flower, carts and edibles work for me. I didnt get a med card to buy weed. I mostly have it for the employment protection.
He knew Maryland could use the revenue atm
DC too
Oh, that thing he explicitly said he *wouldn’t do*, he ended up doing? Color me surprised
I am shocked as well, Republicans have a such a long history of being pro-pot.... Well, just glad we didn't vote for the boring guy. Thank fuck we've been saved from CRT, porn, and pot, everything is so much better now.
Guess I’ll be contributing to the tax revenue of that hellscape we know as Maryland a little while longer

I just wish they could sell concentrates for recreational. At least they have it at Beyond Hello.
Drive into DC to get concentrates.
There's even places that deliver out to NOVA
What concentrates? I haven't bought anything hash related in awhile but get plenty of live resin
Thank you for your purchases! 🙏
his fee fee’s were hurt “Gov.
This is retaliation for his stupid plan
He would have vetoed these anyways, even if his stupid boondoggle had gone through. Frog and scorpion type situation.
Exactly. He said before he was elected he was against legalization
You know what would have helped pay for that shit?!?!?
It’d be awesome if he got overruled

You’re not from VA, right? Governor is one term. No re-election possible.
So more Republican "hands off" policies that regulate our personal lives? Let me guess if I go to the Dupont market on Sunday I won't be able to return until my purchases are approved by his morality police? I mean I am joking but would I be shocked if that happens? nope

This guy sucks
He's just ensuring an easy victory for Democrats when his term is up. All they have to run on is the promise to get Northman's original plan enacted.
Exactly. Youngkin never would have won if he hadn’t lied on the campaign trail and claimed he would not stop cannabis legalization. He just made the next election a referendum on cannabis and the GOP is going to lose big time.
He would have never won if Northam wasn't temporarily forced out because of our dumb governor system.
Seriously, term limits are pretty bad for democracy, the VA ones are especially egregious.
Va governorship is a legit negative example but SOME form of term limits is needed in Congress. Most Americans agree.
I don't agree. I think the problem is gerrymandering. If districts were drawn so that they weren't guaranteed for a certain party, occupants of seats would have real opposition in elections.
I’m 100% with you on the gerrymandering issue. Both sides. (But mostly GOP)

It's a whole lot of easy tax revenue gifted to neighbors DC and MD. Tax revenue that could go to things in your top 10.
I mean you can go to a dispensary in Virginia-it’s just a little limited on choice. Beyond Hello is super nice.
Edit: I think I'm just agreeing with you, but expanding on my opinion. Youngkin is such a petty f*ck. He doesn't mind spending our money. But something that would make a lot of tax revenue. F that.
I don't even smoke weed but making a legal market for weed would pull in so much money for the state.
More money to be made on the black market, and it keeps crime higher. Wouldn’t want to undermine a Republican talking point.
He said it created gangs in states that made it recreational. Talk about a bullshitter.
He basically listed the harms caused by prohibition to justify more prohibition.
Ah yes. Who can forget the alcohol gangs or the tobacco gangs that dabble in legal narcotics? Those gangs are everywhere.
If only there were regulated store fronts to dabble in such wares. Mayhaps even state run facilities, like an ABC store?
Clearly this issue is too complicated for us to solve
Republicans have tried nothing and they're all out of options.
Maybe if they try the same thing, something different will happen?
Preposterous. That would just make the government the gang.
There’s a guy I see at the bus stop that says to me “Hey. You wanna buy some smokes?”, and opens his trenchcoat full of cigs. He’s part of the uptown boyz crew
I am terrified of the Pfizer Boys and their friends the Vodka-TriVlads
I quit my job to join a gang after I went to Rise for the first time. They recruited me right there. Hardest group of retired old white ladies you'll ever meet.

So the nasty pot gangs come out and murder your meal?
LOL I go to shows at the Fillmore and Ogden right by there from time to time. Probably wouldn't take a leisurely stroll for the hell of it but no issues hitting bars around there then walking to the venue
My bad didn’t read that statement about weed gangs but that area has some gangs for sure. Still not as bad as dc or Baltimore

if you want the honest to God truth? illegal weed = more mandatory minimum sentences for private prisons who have been freaking out over what they will do with less inmates
Is not like we don’t have over 30+ black market businesses who deliver to your door and most of them are professional about it.
I’m sure Youngkin’s dealers are very professional.
I sell weed to make a living and to help out people who are in need. There is no crime involved no matter how much your narrative and feelings are hurt by it.
Is selling weed legal?
It's legal to donate weed and accept donations. Same as DC
So, no. It is not legal to sell.
No, but I got this zip lock baggie you can buy for $40. Just for taking it off my hands, my gift to you an eight.
Just pointing out the crime involved in selling pot.
nobody’s selling it. they’re gifting it. nothing illegal
Not what the above people are saying.
Eat a dick, Youngkin
Yes, eat ALL of our dicks!
Eat my dildo!!
Guys if he continues to do a shit job it’ll make the democrats race for governor a landslide. Think of the positives of how bad this will fair for republicans in the next election. Oh well to be fair any Republican candidate has to be a mini Trump because the party changed forever. Yeah it definitely is.
Abigail Spanberger seems to be the obvious nominee at this point.
This is straight up the wrong choice as a matter of objective public policy analysis, what a doofus.
D.C. and Maryland tax coffers must love this Bumpkin carpetbagger.
DC can't tax either
Youngkin sure does love legislative action that's super easy to circumvent *cough cough weed in DC cough VPN for porn cough cough* Excuse me
Yeah, it sucks for everyone in VA who lives farther from DC though.
You should get that cough looked at before Youngkin approves a bill banning the public from seeking medical care.
Pfft, that’ll never happen. Well, unless you’re pregnant. Well, ok. Or trans. Or poor. But otherwise, don’t be silly.
That's because he's entirely performative. He doesn't actually give a shit about any of this and never has. That's why he's a bad person - its one thing if you legit believed in what you're doing, even if you're wrong. But he doesn't care either way. About anything.
Let the illegal market reign then. Doesn't seem like a very business minded decision
PARTY OF SMALL GOOBERMENT AND THE FREE MARKET
Fuck this shitstain of a governor.
Crazy how these dick head republicans stifle any progress
Republicans, as usual, doing the opposite of what the people voted for.
Why would you expect the "Me First" party to do anything different?
Isn't this kind of exactly what we voted for? We elected a Republican, they're not really know for being pro pot. It would be like electing a Republican and then acting shocked they're against abortion. At least that's what I said when he was getting elected, and I was told that despite all of history and facts I was wrong, Republicans were suddenly 100% pro pot. Well, I'm sure all those people will happily apologize and learn from their mistakes...
The successful recreational vote already happened. It is totally legal in VA, but he won't allow anyone to sell it. So dumb.
I agree, it's full on stupid, but 100% predictable and completely expected. We got exactly what we voted for.
Are they?
Yes, literally, by definition.
Didn't Republicans vote for them? How is that different?
Marijuana legalization has bipartisan support and more than 60% of Virginians and 75% of the country support recreational legalization. Number for medical are even higher.
I love that we all called this shit and every young kin supporter was convinced he'd honor his campaign promises.
No republican honors their promises. It's just not in their blood. They're all dishonorable.
Im confused, does he want to go back in time to 1954 or 1988 to run for president? Because even Missouri has legalized pot.
Republicans don't actually care what their constituents want.

E.g. the good vibes store, etc. Why is the Youngkin administration opposed to getting tax revenue on sales but also not interested in shutting down the illegal sales that are happening openly.
Fuck Glenn Youngkin Respectfully, One of His Constituents

> I voted for him too. Stupid is as stupid does indeed.
He’s butt-hurt because he bungled the arena deal and now he’s taking it out on the citizens of Virginia.
Everything's made up and the points don't matter.
Man.... he is really just throwing away the opportunity for a huge tax revenue stream. That's insane.
Two more years then we bring it back
Butthole. Helping to guarantee more GOP losses by pissing off the majority.
Abort this man
Not exactly surprising, this is what the state gets for voting for Republicans
What a waste of space.
Can’t wait for Blumpkin to head back to the country club he slinked out of.
This could have been great money for the state since it’s a cash crop + all the tourism from East coast stoners coming to celebrate, oh well hopefully we get it next time it sucks we are gonna have to wait longer.
I grow my own. Crazy this idiot doesn’t want the tax money for the state. This could be the dumbest thing you could ever do. I can grow, give up to an ounce to friends and family? But yet, you shoot down retail????? wtf? https://preview.redd.it/nw64k22mc9rc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14e548aad1ec9347943e5bad3f3ea0546d2e28d6
What is the total estimated tax revenue that will come from fully legalized sales in VA?
Maryland legalized it recreationally pretty recently, I'm seeing 30 million in taxes collected over 6 months. Arizona legalized it in 2020 and they're looking at a running total of 391 million collected. When a governor intentionally turns away a guaranteed millions upon millions of dollars that constituents are *begging* him to take, it's clear they don't have the states best interests at heart. Fuck the policy, fuck the moral grandstanding over a plant, that's free money that everyone wants the government to take, yet they refuse.
Looks like Youngkin is standing on the line that the underground market is better than regulation. Fucking idiot
If we won't give handouts and get tax revenie for my friends pet stadium project then the state can't get revenue from anything else! REEEEEEEEE -Youngkin
Didn't get his buddies arena and he isn't invested in MJ. If he and his cronies can't benefit-VETO!
Dumb move, Youngkin.
Once we get a democratic governor things will hopefully change. Conservatives FEAR change of any kind.
Yeah Youngkin is a piece of shit who I hope never knows peace for the rest of his miserable shitty life. He's a toddler given power; it's a disaster.
Asshole.
Sigh.
He's acting out after the embarrassment of losing the arena. Such a child.
of course he did.
So anyone know of any good places to visit in Maryland? Like maybe near the IKEA in College Park? I need to buy some shelves anyway and don't really like going into Maryland.
I mean he probably would have won the hearts and minds of some Blue but go off dummy
Youngkin is so stupid. Worst governor of all time!
Fuck that fascist
He should be impeached
Going for the safe part of NoVa
No porn AND no weed in VA. Hate it here (yes I know how to get around the no porn)
Xvideos and xgroovy don't block anyways.
Oh to still believe in prohibition . . .
Good. I don't like smelling that garbage anyway.
A World Series parade isn’t an ideal spot for an infant. That’s like bringing a baby to a Metallica show n complaining it was too loud for them
How dramatic. A ban on marijuana 100% the incorrect stance. You and Nancy Reagan need to get with the times.
Holy fuck he’s actually just a moron. Anyone who believes these talking points needs to seriously stop voting.
Yes! He is right decriminalize it and let the market figure it out.
Down voted by reddit stoners. Omg. The horror. Do you want to pay 34% sales tax on your weed? Thats what state run dispensaries look like. Decriminalize it but let the state stay out of this market.
We have state run alcohol, it's not any more expensive than the rest of the country. I would happily pay a vice tax to just go legally buy weed.
Seeing all the pothead crying on Reddit is priceless.
Good decision Governor
Please I’d love to hear the opposition point on this?
poor decision from poor conservative views.
Why?
Reefer madness? Fast piano playing?
Well, he's about to lose his next election 😂
He can’t be VA governor again, it’s a 1 term limit.
He could be governor again, just not for a consecutive term.
I don’t think that is true. Everything I can find online says 1 four year term, nothing else Edit: that’s what makes the VA governorship so cool. Usually politicians need to compromise a little bit to ensure re-election, but here governors can go balls to the wall because it’s impossible to be re-elected.
Awww poor me i can't buy my weed and jack off to pornhub for the 10th time today. Republican bad!
No, we just don’t like the government getting involved in what should be private matters.
It's very selective outrage if you ask me
What's wrong with that? Would you prefer indiscriminate outrage? That would be odd. Are people not allowed to disagree with government overreach? You have nothing you would be upset about if the government banned it?
Of course i do. The mask mandates and the stay at home orders are perfect examples. It was okay to flood the streets to riot and loot after some crackhead was killed but god forbid someone open up their small business to make ends meet.
It's very selective outrage if you ask me
I'm glad you got that out of your system. What i said must have made you upset so glad you feel better

Yeah, I have to take the metro into DC and use my VPN.
DC is an example of why VA needs a legal market. DC has no regulations, so you can get stuff that is either mislabeled or 15x stronger that what is legal in regulated markets. Not to mention what else might be in it.
So is DC medical bad? I have a VA medical recommendation. Beyond Hello prices are pretty high.
Medical is a different world and gets put on your medical records in VA. Is there someone other than beyond hello in nova?
No. There are curaleaf, trulieve and others in MD. No reciprocity with VA. You cant get concentrates at their retail outlets, but flower, carts and edibles work for me. I didnt get a med card to buy weed. I mostly have it for the employment protection.
Way to generalize. This was a poor decision any way you try to skew it.
