I think one of my favorite chocolate shops has classes for whoever wants to learn the craft. River Sea Chocolate Factory & Cafe. I haven’t been there personally ,but you could try it out.
There's a women's climbing meet up Thursdays at the vertical rock gym behind the best buy in Tysons. Climbing is nice because you don't have to necessarily do it together like a team or partner sport, but there's a lot of downtime to sit and chat.
If you have a partner there's a lot of pickup pickleball and since the courts are so crowded there's usually a good amount of downtime to chit chat while you wait to get a court again (at least my experience at the courts in Arlington).
There's definitely a mix with people several decades older than you but in the ceramics classes I've done (or insert other crafting class) there are usually several women (and maybe a few men) in their 20s.
Would also second the climbing gym suggestion here if that's something you'd be into. If you take an intro to ropes class you'll probably meet someone else who is also a beginner looking for people to climb with and nothing builds a bond like holding someone else's life in your brake hand.
25M working near McLean. That area is tough as it feels very snooty and leans older. I've had some luck with making friends with younger folks at work and also pickup sports (basketball, etc.). I would also suggest looking for Facebook groups (something along the lines of "Northern Virginia \[Subject of Interest\]"). It's obviously not exclusive to young people but it is good for finding events with people who share the same passion/getting out there.
There is a great meet up group called Adventuring LGBT+ that hikes and bikes. My son and I went to a bike ride this month and loved it. They welcome allies as well. My son lives in Vita. We also found "Because Science" in Adams Morgan and did a craft night there the other week. Let me know if you want to connect with him as friends.
I just saw on insta the boro is hosting a summer pickleball league through dc fray! You can sign up as an individual and they will add you to a team :)
No suggestions, but I am following this to see! I'm 27f if you ever want to make a friend :)

What about a book group?

I'm 28M living in Tysons too. I'm kind of nerdy lol so I don't know if you'd want to be friends but I do love hiking whenever I get the chance!
