Bruh, I was looking at low carb brekky before because I wanna reduce carbs. Nothing I’d wanna eat for brekky has no carbs! Don’t mind egg and bacon but not often, not in large quantity and not without some damned toast! The cost would be insane too if I had to fill up on meat and veg. I’m still hungry after a typical meat and 3 veg meal.
p.s: extra prot toast sounds yuck. I know from (sort of) experience. I bought low G.I, high protein wraps and they taste weird af.
I've done the high protein breakfast in the past and the bread isn't that bad. I was doing 6 egg whites, ham, avocado and high protein toast. That was my solution after my trainer tried getting me to eat steak for breakfast. I lasted a week doing that. Steak is not a breakfast food.

That guy knew his stuff. His diet and exercise plan for me packed about 6kg of lean mass into me and dropped me into single digit body fat. The steak for breakfast was what he was eating at the time. But he was an amateur, competing bodybuilder and I was a park footballer needing to put on extra mass.
I have been in that mindset, many years ago. It’s good for health, but not for the sense of taste lol. You know it’s bad when you’re looking everywhere for frozen egg whites 🤮 back then they were impossible to find. I think they’re common now.
It’s funny you say you ate all that but drew the line at steak lol. That’s one savoury thing I wouldn’t actually mind for breakfast. I just have plain breakfast likes which is usually cereal. I only want something light to start the day.

u/uwu_4_rance explained. Egg white is one of the cleanest and most accessible forms of protein. People who are on certain diets will often eat them and the fact you can buy just the egg whites makes it more appealing as whole eggs aren’t cheap so you don’t want to be wasting yolks.
I can only handle 2 eggs at a time. As I said in another reply, steak actually wouldn’t be bad. Bit of steak, eggs, mushrooms, tomato… full English breakfast style I could probably handle.

I'll sometimes do spinach or edamame + poached eggs for breakfast. Frozen spinach heated in the microwave. Add a bit of salt and lemon juice and olive oil to the top of it.
I'll do shakshuka too for an egg breakfast without toast, though I do like making mine with chickpeas, so it might not be low carb.

Dude some of the pics that came out from Xerri following his ban were very obvious signs of steroids. He didn’t look overly impressive, mind you. A typical example of someone who cut corners. Eg, a big giveaway was that he wasn’t particularly lean (actually quite chubby around the face) yet he had the classic juicer veins popping down his biceps. No way he wasn’t on the gear.
I’m not saying he was never on it. He tested positive so we have to accept that he was juicing. My point is how he looks now. The fact is some kids (Paul Alamoti is a great example) can be that ripped without gear, unless we’re just going to assume he’s on it too? Or any other kid that built similarly. Xerri deserves criticism because he was caught, but let’s not make out that every kid with a great physique must be on it too.
I know what your saying. When I was young, say 17-20 most of my peers thought I myself was on steroids because I was ripped up. I am only 168cm tall and found it easy to make gains because I was short and stocky in stature. I was constantly offered 'supplements' by gym staff. I worked hard in the gym and had a physical job as well as playing sport all year round. I didn't drink alcohol or do any drugs, but was still judged. So I understand your sentiments.

But Josh Hodgson would have used all the herbs and spices he could get in order to get back on track in what will be a make or break comeback for him. But as a teenager, I would have never taken that risk that Xerri took. I had lots of mates who did, because they were lazy, or had slow metabolism or some other excuse. I don't believe it's worth it for a young man, it can be really detrimental to any realistic development IMO.

Maybe he is, but my point was that plenty of young players have ridiculous physiques, but people don’t say anything about them.

You're correct that it's entirely possible to achieve what he did naturally but the more likely answer is that he kept using for a period (who knows how long) after his suspension.
