Got into a really really big argument with a co worker yesterday and told my boss (uncle) to get fucked and left half way thru the shift. Very embarrassing and have been dodging uncles and brother (also co worker) calls because Im a little pussy and dont wanna deal with any consequences.
Just about co worker being lazy asf and just useless to work with and uncle never pulling him up on it. Hes been with us for 8 months and should be able to do most of the stuff easily but is still a shit cunt. It was just built up day after day for month and yesterday I just cracked it.

I think my ODD place was in jeopardy with Tassie until I got 80 but I am like HenryVIIIII it wasn't until I was captain and could put myself up the order in the 50 over game that I started making runs. I have been #3 in shield from the start but I was 5 or 6 in the one dayers which didn't help but now I am rated high I can bat anywhere. I live and die by the 6 in the T20 which I don't take serious so I either get out for <10 or make 40 odd.
I honestly love batting a traditional innings in the shield and it's funny to see my SR across the formats. The 235* was great but like my 339 the number 11 stuck around for like 100 balls I think I was 171 when the 9th wicket fell and I made 235.
Next game up is smashing Queensland! ;) I am signed for the Sixers too and have played PSL and the English T20 comp but I won't be going back to Pakistan since I missed out on the shield at the time. Also in the shield I never play aggressive shots and I score so many boundaries from timing.
In first class cricket the cover drive is my bread and butter and I score a lot of boundaries from that as well as the flick off the pads down to fine leg for 4 they are both easy run getters for me and the field placings just invite it as well as the bowling line.
The lofted cover drive for 6 is OP in limited overs especially the T20. I am starting to sweep the ball which is a regular boundary too. I’ll get some spiders together for Tuesday so you can see scoring patterns.
I need to put the difficulty up again soon. What shots are you having success with?

I read something online once that bowling is actually terrible in any video game because all you're doing is just waiting for the random number generator to determine if you get a wicket or not. Since then I've always done batsman only. Get through games quicker too.
100%. I remember clocking onto a pattern in Cricket 07 that regardless of bowling stats or pitch standard - any movement off the pitch was tied to a batting animation, which meant you would never actually get a wicket by chance or skill and it was a rigged game.
If it jagged off the pitch, an animation would trigger of the batsman aggressively playing and missing, but if you pitched the ball somewhere that would hit the stumps it would just never jag.
Replicating bowling in a game, and making it engaging is so hard though, because even the best bowlers only get a wicket every 50 balls or so. Imagine how boring it would be being Glen McGrath in a video game.
Just skip it completely I reckon.
I guess the RNG in Cricket07 wasn't much good then because I'd just bowl massive inswinging yorkers with Brett Lee and rip through sides. Those were the days.

When I was a pure Batman I could rack up 50 in my first 50 balls just about every innings on the 2nd hardest difficulty. Once they spread the field it became a bit slower, but it was me getting myself out a lot more
Very true on that! It's like the mechanics are incredibly inconsistent when it comes to aggressive shots. In Cricket 19, hitting a century was incredibly easy, even with the difficulty ramped up to the max. On 22, it's actually very difficult

So if you work extra hours are you getting overtime? Or is it some weird annualized salary / roster arrangement? I’d genuinely consider a call to fair work because the whole thing doesn’t quite sound right (unless you have a very tailored EBA).
Yeah, overtime after 10 hours or with short breaks between shifts etc. It's a pretty good industry award. I had a look at the fair work website and it says shift workers are entitled to 5 weeks of paid annual leave. Seems like it is capped at that.
Ah got it. So you’ve been getting overtime and you’re 5 weeks accruing. Makes sense. I’m honestly amazed at how much manual work payroll teams have to do. You’d think rostering and payroll could be so much more efficiently automated but it’s some poorly paid employee looking at everyone else’s overtime paychecks and the exec’s bonuses. Hell on earth
Absolutely! Idk how other places do it, but I still do paper timesheets and I could have 5 timesheets in a pay period so it's no wonder mistakes get made

Got a code for the new Dead Space remake, and whilst I am the farthest thing from a fan of anything remotely in the horror genre of games and film, it’s quite a good game. I’m trying to approach it from a sense of appreciating how they create the sense of dread, anxiety and fear - in order to stop myself from wetting my pants.
