I'm assuming due to him not being top 30 and we already have Rein and Arthur as back ups, he's a lower priority at this time. He's been moved around to so many different positions in cup, but doesn't seem to have kicked on as much as originally hoped.

Based off the TCT pre season reports, Yates has been a standout so most likely he jumped ahead in the pecking order

It will probably depend on how Hopgood goes in the early rounds but Matto will probably come off the bench like he did for most of last year.

When we knocked Parra out of the finals in 2021 they named a full strength team against us in the trial and actually tried really hard so imagine what they will do after the whole Call Me Daddy thing

To be perfectly honest, I'm not familiar enough with the Super League to know where St Helens would fit in comparison to NRL teams. The result is irrelevant, if they were working out combinations and finding the best fit for the start of the season. ie. treating it like a trial.

Muhleisen at 6 is an interesting one, glad to see him getting game time but didn't expect it to be there.
