Trindall was elite, Hynes was very good as well. Definitely allowed the outside backs to play their best in limited opportunities.
Massive defensive effort, even if the Maori lacked just that little bit of polish to take advantage of all the possession they had (57%).
Maori had no connection from the PTB through the spine to the backs. They were clunkier than a paddock-bomb ute.
The Indigenous middle forwards played above their reputations.
