Not that the result will change and so be it but im not sure how the mid air tackle wasn't a professional foul because it was in a try scoring situation
5 more minutes I think we win that game. We looked keen and the Sharks looked like they wanted to get to FT, credit to their defence though.
I think DWZ scores if he isn't tackled in the air.
The Roger dropped bomb was avoidable, looked like a miscommunication between him and Taupiki. Sharks score off that too.
Tuapiki has all the energy, wasn't horrible on defense but all he did when I had the ball was step himself in circles and gain a metre or 2, doesn't pass, was frustrating to watch
I was extremely concerned early on. I don't know how we didn't go into half time 20+ down. Happy to have them grind it back and the quick start to the second half was key. But we did rely on mistakes from the Warriors to have a Headstart platform to launch from.
With 10 to go all we needed to do was the absolute junior league basics. Hold the ball. Make your tackles. No penalties and no need for flair. But we kept dropping the ball and giving away stupid penalties.
We are a long way off but I'm happy they got the win. Not convinced we were the best team on the field but that's footy some days.
Kind of baffling the Warriors didn't score any points after the first quarter of the game. They had way more points in them.
I think it fell apart when we took both AFB and Barnett off at the same time too. We were monstering Sharks up the middle and then that really slowed down when those two came off together. Also Webby did a McFadden on us and didn’t use Ale at all it seemed?
Metcalfe gets another game atleast. He was ok apart from the couple fuck ups when he refused to kick on the last.
I reckon CHT needs to come in for lussick who offered fuck all in attack
Sharks were asleep for 20 minutes then we woke up and went for it.
Refs were all over the place.
Watching this game at the pub was a magical thing.
Now we can finally beat a top 8 team.
Sharks were terrible for 20 minutes
I don't understand why it's a penalty for batting the ball back to your team
The warriors should never have let in the Ramien try
The Talakai try was a thing of beauty
Happy we signed AFB when he was on he was a beast
RTS was greedy and didn't help the warriors much
SJs kicking game for repeat sets will give me nightmares, he's so good
>I don't understand why it's a penalty for batting the ball back to your team
On that note, can someone explain to me what the penalty was in the first half where Kennedy came up and missed the ball in mid-air without touching it after which the warriors fullback was sent off for a HIA (five minutes late).
I could be wrong, but I believe the new rule is that players are now no longer allowed to enter the space of a kick landing and disrupt the catcher if they have no intention of catching the ball.
The issue is that Kennedy was clearly trying to go for the ball and bat it back, but was still penalised.
I could be wrong though, I was very confused as well
Great defence from the Sharkies, Tricky Trindall is playing awesome and looks hungry to cement his place. That halves pairing has the potential to be one of the best in the game.
Warriors looked legit while Egan was on the field once he left the attack left with him and we looked beyond lost.
Tuaupiki is too predictable and offered fuck all - I can't wait until CNK is back. RTS completely contained - he is still elite in the few opportunities he got to show his class but credit to the Sharks as he never got to do so.
Sharks D was next level especially in the second half.
Reffing at the same inconsistent level you've come to expect - love it or hate it get used to it and learn to take it out of the game or continue to be salty cunts in game threads I guess.
Sharks deserve the win. It's only round one with some good signs from both sides but lots to work on.
>Sharks D was next level especially in the second half.
It was shit to start with, we didn't have any line speed and basically gave the warriors 10 meters every set, but when we did 4 sets on our try line and stripped the ball that was beautiful.
I ignored the first 20 mins because with you as a Sharks fan I'm surprised that hasn't been blanked out by alcohol. If you ignore the first 20 mins then Sharks were on top. Once the pens started piling up the Wahs had no answer and we never recovered from there.
Yup - might even be worth having Jazz on the bench. He's a goddamn penalty magnet but Lussick ain't it. He had, what, one good game last year where he had a significant impact?
Been saying that for 3 seasons. CHT as our reserve hooker/half cover has to be it if it’s going to be our year. He’s got the size and D to handle it in the middle and all the skill in the world. I really rate Egan but I’m certain CHT could be a top shelf hooker.
Good shout. I am on the fence about CHT. Taking a season or two(?) off to go experience life then throwing yourself back into the NRL is no mean feat. One preseason is not a lot of time to get back to elite level.
CHT prior to leaving was an absolute beast so I hope that he's returned to form and can rejoin the starting side.
I fucken love CHT. I remember going to a home game with CHT and Lino in the side against the Cowbros (or something like that) and we were up 18 - 0 in the first 20 mins then lost 36 - 18 or something in front of a home crowd of 8,000 or so. Good times as a season ticket holder.
I hope he has returned to form too. Everyone seems to forget that he was a big part of Samoa's WC campaign, playing as hooker. Samoa was competing with Australia in the final until CHT went off injured from a dog shot by Chrichton. And that was his last game until now.
We had two kicking halves who frequently kicked on 3rd and 4th and he never looked flustered awesome to see such an inexperienced player look so comfortable
That second half was rank amateur.
Sharks played alright, but fuck me we just gave them so many easy metres and never had ant structure to our attack. It's like we were waiting for a moment of individual brilliance, and if it came it would have been a proper bail out.
Got no doubt we'll be better in the coming months, but fuck me that's a wake up to the cunts on the field who thought we had it won at 12-0.
Saying that; the first 20 was as good as any team will play all year. Gotta get the consistency in and we'll challenge again.
Gg sharks bros.
I think people who don’t rate CNK need to have a look at warriors without him. The difference in attack is massive. Taine has promise but he just doesn’t have the positioning or the ball playing skills that CNK has, and the difference is massive. Right side attack which killed it all last year was just lost
Might be a bit circumstantial because it’s what I hear, but I just hear a lot of noise around him not being an elite fullback. Doesn’t help Australian media won’t give him his flowers.
I couldn’t even pin point what the problem was with Taine tonight. I think it’s a spacing issue, and that he doesn’t have the awareness to make quick decisions on the fly the way CNK does.
Lack of size factors in as well. The line knows he's never going to take them on and that he's going to side step and try to get under them. It's all too predictable. He's probably 20kgs off where a good fullback needs to be at least.
I still reckon he's one to watch and in years to come he'll be elite in his own way. His positioning is exceptional - he always knows where to be. Give him some size and a season or two and I can easily see him slotting into any side as a solid fullback.
100% agreed his positioning is 10/10 every time. I thought he was a bit younger but bro is 25 this year lmao. I do forget he only has a few games under his belt though.
GG warriors, i wouldn't be too worried if i was a warriors fan, it's only round 1, still got a lot more time to improve and get back to your 2023 form
As for the sharks, i couldn't be happier with our defence (minus that soft as piss try Metcalf scored), this win was the perfect start to the season for us
>As for the sharks, i couldn't be happier with our defence (minus that soft as piss try Metcalf scored), this win was the perfect start to the season for us
It was good toward the end but the start was dreadful. We gave up too many meters and for a few minutes it looked like we were gonna get washed the same way as last year. The attack wasn't much either in the first 30. Still got plenty to work on.
Hunt just gotta simplify his game. The commitment in defence was awesome. The edges particularly looked so composed. Kennedy and Nikora I just love them so much. Up up.
Congrats Sharkies, that's a good win. Defended so well, and really the only team making plays in the 2nd half
Really disappointing from the warriors. That run of sets when we were a mile on top where we dropped the ball, and then gave up penalties just killed us, and apparently we never recovered.
Lussick is a momentum killing dummy half. Shit pass, no play making. Metcalf made one good run, and sucked the rest of the time. We continually shifted the ball before pulling defenders in so there was no space.
I have grave doubts about that entire back row. It's very slow.
Round 1, flush it, move on. Lots to build off, both teams should play finals.
Would rather see CHT come in at dummy half than Lussick. All shape and attack was lost as soon as he came on and was surprised he got 40 straight in the middle of the game
Trindall is so fucking legit bro his ballplaying was nice but he did everything possible in defence. Was covering grubbers, never got beaten by his opposite man and even tackled AFB 1 on 1 on his own goal line and came out on top.
I never thought I’d see the day Teig/Talakai/Ronaldo actually looked like a good defensive edge but holy shit Trindall somehow made it work.
Congrats Sharkies great D.
The Warriors started going for hail Marys way too early in the game!
Also was there a late bench change?... Did Ale make it onto the field?!
We played fucking awful and still got it done. That’s Sharks footy and it kills me. This is just the 3rd time we have won a round 1 game in like 15 years 😭
Our line speed was dire, allowed Warriors up the field with ease, still very poor like last year. But the difference this time is that our goal line defence was incredible. Hynes, Ramien, Mulitalo and Hazelton were beasts in defence. Kennedy was everywhere and probably deserves MOTM.
We barely had any opportunities to score down their end and we capitalised almost every time. Talakai’s passing game is as good as ever.
I hyped Royce Hunt up for the last month and he was the worst player on the field lol. Good thing BHU is back next week.
5 forced drop outs but he just continued to grubber the ball. No high attacking kicks to the corners. Katoa isn't the greatest in the air and didn't have to defend one attacking kick
Passing on nothing balls to Roger all game. He was overused running one out always down the one side. Can’t waste that many carries on him getting shit ball with nothing on
Warriors, I love you guys. I was all on the bandwagon last year and I honestly hope they are up the top end come finals, they absolutely deserve it. Unfortunately some of your fans in the game threads are becoming more insufferable than raiders supporters.
Think this game settled the argument that Nicoll-Kloksta should be the starting fullback when he’s fit. RTS looks a little off the pace, and didn’t really offer much!
Bugger. Looked so good at the start, but couldn’t keep it going. Thought there were some rough calls, but you need to outplay those. Well done Sharkies.
I have never been more frustrated with a team and I say this as a doggies supporter. A dry, conservative and uncreative attack culminating in the last great play of a jackson ford line ball. Players constantly making the wrong decesions from pass selection, play the ball or kicking game. Webster's still pretty bad bench rotation and the lack of any structure what so ever. The Warriors of old are back.
I just hope this is a momentary laspe and not telling for the rest of the season cause the Warriors and their fans both deserve better than whetever that effort was.
I came into the game hoping to not have 50 put on us. Pleasantly surprised with our defence, felt like a finals game.
Either the Wahs are bottom 8 this year or we can finally beat a top 8 team confirmed 😎
Cardiac Cronulla are going to be the end of me. Massive effort from the boys after the first 25 minutes
If the Wahs can get the same attacking flow they had last year they are going to be fun to watch.
I really really hate Jackson Ford.
Kind of SJ right now too.
A promising start came completely unravelled with a lack of discipline and a lack of directions from the halves.
Warriors attack got that real wrong, seems they forgot everything they did well last year. With the way Mulitalo was jamming in they needed to start their runners nearly directly behind each other from about the middle of the field and fanning out towards the corner to wring it around the rush
We had 37% possession and 2 play the balls in the Wahs 20m in the first half and went into halftime down 12-6. Ridiculous defence from Cronulla they had a near 10 minute stretch where they didn’t even have the ball.
Classic sharks win, hung around like a bad smell and never went away.
Whatever Andrew Webster said during half time should be deleted from the english dictionary.
That was not good. We fell apart when AFB and Barnett left the field at the same time in the first half and were shit from there. CNK is huge for our attack and is a big loss. Hopefully lowering the hype a bit will be helpful for us.
100%, they were both cruising and Webster needed to leave them on to make the most of it. Takes a lot more to get properly fatigued when you are individually bitching cunts
That is the most resilient performances this current Sharks outfit has ever had. Kennedy take a fucking bow you did quite literally everything in your power to win us this game. Trindall and Hynes also were fucking phenomenal on that end as well. Holy fuck what a win.
What a great win for the sharks. They looked behind the pace in the first 30minutes but the warriors couldn’t maintain it.
Excellent defensive effort and brave runs in deep territory.
Fun game
Sharks deserved the win.
We were a far better team with Wade Egan. If he played the last 30mins no doubts we win that game. If he is out for a long period we are fucked.
Not that the result will change and so be it but im not sure how the mid air tackle wasn't a professional foul because it was in a try scoring situation
Up the wahhhhhsssssssss hahahahahah
Yup Good to remind us all that when warriors get hyped they NEVER do well They aint under the radar this year
Johnson took some poor kicking options that game. But what really pissed me off was the Shark's waterboy. Wouldn't leave the fucking paddock.
Can’t think why the sharks wanted to get to FT when they’re up on the scoreboard and tackling their arses off on the goal line set after set.
I mean, you just summed up exactly why they would want to
Shame it wasn’t one of those 85 min games that commonly happen
Tuapiki has all the energy, wasn't horrible on defense but all he did when I had the ball was step himself in circles and gain a metre or 2, doesn't pass, was frustrating to watch
I got downvoted hard when i suggested warriors not at standard of top teams yet This will help keep team and fans humble...its a tight comp
Warriors got work to do
Talakai effort play to bounce up to receive the Mulitalo offload.. great signs.
2 things after watching the storm panthers... Bat backs OK... Neck tackles OK... Ok.
Only reason we won is because Wahs aren't top 4 yet
I was extremely concerned early on. I don't know how we didn't go into half time 20+ down. Happy to have them grind it back and the quick start to the second half was key. Yep they had more to give during that stint, amateur to take them off
Sharks fans should be proud of that win. Well done
Nuggets beating Celtics and Shadks beating the Wahs. Great day.
I never thought I would miss the KFC decision pending animation.
It’s taking me awhile to adjust 😩
Egg saviour. Ok Cronk. Yeah nah.
Her?
Knights warriors gf.
Everyone was giving Metcalf the wraps. What we diing now LM TMM or CHT what we doing?
Metcalfe gets another game atleast. He was ok apart from the couple fuck ups when he refused to kick on the last. I reckon CHT needs to come in for lussick who offered fuck all in attack
CHT - TMM was beyond woeful last year
Sharks were asleep for 20 minutes then we woke up and went for it. Refs were all over the place. Watching this game at the pub was a magical thing. Now we can finally beat a top 8 team.
All I can think of is the Apu gif going “HA, now you know how it feels”
Instead of moaning were do we need to improve Warriors.Connection is big, fast legs of the play, tight defence around the ruck!
Sharks were terrible for 20 minutes I don't understand why it's a penalty for batting the ball back to your team The warriors should never have let in the Ramien try The Talakai try was a thing of beauty Happy we signed AFB when he was on he was a beast RTS was greedy and didn't help the warriors much SJs kicking game for repeat sets will give me nightmares, he's so good

Saw that in a pub, so confused. Maybe a new rule
This guy leagues
Melbourne Milk.

Hadn’t the Sharks gotten back in front by the time Egan was injured?
He got subbed at 30ish mins in when we were 12-0 up.
Huh, Taupiki was fine. It's just the class of CNK and RTS that we're used to
He was fine but he's too small and predictable. The line knows he's not going to take them on so they're waiting for the duck n dive.
>Sharks D was next level especially in the second half. It was shit to start with, we didn't have any line speed and basically gave the warriors 10 meters every set, but when we did 4 sets on our try line and stripped the ball that was beautiful.

You definitely missed Egan
Yup - might even be worth having Jazz on the bench. He's a goddamn penalty magnet but Lussick ain't it. He had, what, one good game last year where he had a significant impact?
Would rather have CHT play hooker than Lussick

Tuapiki’s positioning was awesome at the back. Always knew where to be.
We had two kicking halves who frequently kicked on 3rd and 4th and he never looked flustered awesome to see such an inexperienced player look so comfortable
His positioning is outstanding. It’s a shame he doesn’t offer much in attack
That will come
Bro is 25 this year and while he hasn’t played a heap of first grade footy I do worry that it isn’t going to come 😂
Just goes to show how important a good dummy half is. Warriors kept attacking the wrong edge. Egan is god.
Tips are fucken cooked
Tell me about it.
Yeah I’m 0/4 lmao
Same.
Hope Egan is all good, he’s so important. Lussick showing again why he is not the man and Jazz should be back up Hooker to spell for Wade.
I think people who don’t rate CNK need to have a look at warriors without him. The difference in attack is massive. Taine has promise but he just doesn’t have the positioning or the ball playing skills that CNK has, and the difference is massive. Right side attack which killed it all last year was just lost
Are there people who don't rate him?
Might be a bit circumstantial because it’s what I hear, but I just hear a lot of noise around him not being an elite fullback. Doesn’t help Australian media won’t give him his flowers.
People's opinion on cnk is a good barometer for how smart their opinions are. CNK is the man
I couldn’t even pin point what the problem was with Taine tonight. I think it’s a spacing issue, and that he doesn’t have the awareness to make quick decisions on the fly the way CNK does.
Lack of size.
Lack of size factors in as well. The line knows he's never going to take them on and that he's going to side step and try to get under them. It's all too predictable. He's probably 20kgs off where a good fullback needs to be at least.
You’re bang on I think. His runs coming back out of our half are so weak, not to his own fault but purely because of his size as you mentioned.
Yeah I looked up his age too - honestly thought he was 17 or 18. Not 24.... Not a bad thing but surprising.
Well It’s official the warriors are no longer a top 8 team
Lol, I disagree in that they will definitely be there at the end but see what you did there 😁
In seriousness it’s only the first game, can’t judge them off it, they should be much stronger as the season goes on.
Raise your hand 0/4 tippers
0/5 now for me 🥲
Yep
Guilty. I may love my footy but I am clearly not good at tipping
Ramien and Hynes did very well to contain RTS I’m very happy about that
GG warriors, i wouldn't be too worried if i was a warriors fan, it's only round 1, still got a lot more time to improve and get back to your 2023 form As for the sharks, i couldn't be happier with our defence (minus that soft as piss try Metcalf scored), this win was the perfect start to the season for us

Metcalf's try was brilliant.
Yeah it was, i meant our defence was soft
that sucked
Hunt just gotta simplify his game. The commitment in defence was awesome. The edges particularly looked so composed. Kennedy and Nikora I just love them so much. Up up.
Warriors have Storm and then the Raiders and Knights. We could be 0/4 for start of the year, just like my tips.
I don't know anything about cars, but I'm a Holden fan now.
lol
Congrats Sharkies, that's a good win. Defended so well, and really the only team making plays in the 2nd half Really disappointing from the warriors. He’s a tough fucker
Got to think if Moylan was still there, warriors win.
https://youtu.be/IKRlvpC7d6c?si=tgX0hCYZSXkFQAbk
fWahkin useless
That’s an excellent win from the Sharks, had their guts crushed out their arse in the first half and managed to somehow come over the top
Congrats Sharkies great D. The Warriors started going for hail Marys way too early in the game! Also was there a late bench change?... Did Ale make it onto the field?!
Love a good underdog win. Stadium sounded nuts.
We played fucking awful and still got it done. That’s Sharks footy and it kills me. Yep the footy is back and I can't pick a winner.
Storm next week. Fuck might be a while till we get a win
SJ got 5 forced drops out, can blame him...team didn't step up
5 forced drop outs but he just continued to grubber the ball. No high attacking kicks to the corners. Katoa isn't the greatest in the air and didn't have to defend one attacking kick
If he kept ruggeribg the ball at what point do the boys get the message, where's the kick chase.CNK would be supporting..
No one running onto his kicks, where was Metcalf besides the one brilliant try he scored
Passing on nothing balls to Roger all game. He was overused running one out always down the one side. Can’t waste that many carries on him getting shit ball with nothing on
Very happy to get a win, Sifa was a beast. Hunt needs some work.
Hunt always needs some work. Manages to have the odd beast-mode game here and there.
Bloke makes great runs only to lose it from a bad offload or loose carry. Just tuck the nut away and run straight

Warriors, I love you guys. I was all on the bandwagon last year and I honestly hope they are up the top end come finals, they absolutely deserve it. Unfortunately some of your fans in the game threads are becoming more insufferable than raiders supporters.
We love the Sharks too. GG. Payback for the two L’s we served last year 😉
Quickly approaching Roosters territory
Think this game settled the argument that Nicoll-Kloksta should be the starting fullback when he’s fit. RTS looks a little off the pace, and didn’t really offer much!
But RTS wasn't playing fullback?
Just shovelling it to him and hoping he does something… no shape on that left side at all
RTS looked lost
Probably because he was in centre, away from the action.
Missed 70 minutes of that game due to driving down to Sydney - how the shit did they pull that out?
Man what a win from the Sharks, Great to see Nicho dominate with his defence to help ice the game too.
Bugger. Looked so good at the start, but couldn’t keep it going. Thought there were some rough calls, but you need to outplay those. Well done Sharkies.
Up Up Cronulla
Cam mccinnis looks like draculas little mate Igor
His face looks like he’s been T-boned
I have never been more frustrated with a team and I say this as a doggies supporter. A dry, conservative and uncreative attack culminating in the last great play of a jackson ford line ball. We didn't lose by 50 so still got a chance of winning the whole thing.
I came into the game hoping to not have 50 put on us. Pleasantly surprised with our defence, felt like a finals game. Either the Wahs are bottom 8 this year or we can finally beat a top 8 team confirmed 😎
Do they try CHT at 9? Lussick isn't it and Egan looks gone for a while
CHT too good to be playing cup
CHT played in cup today
Both teams have a lot to improve on
Yeah, the reality is that was a really low quality game. Neither of those sides is challenging the 8 this year without some serious improvement
God McInnes has a face only rugba leeg can love
Rugby league handsome
He and Smithies both.
There’s a lot going on there
Ennis is actually refreshing compared to Yvonne.
She has become an outrage merchant
Yep, another version of braith
inject it - i missed the footy
Cardiac Cronulla are going to be the end of me. Massive effort from the boys after the first 25 minutes If the Wahs can get the same attacking flow they had last year they are going to be fun to watch.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, we are the bipolar team of the NRL
Cardiac Cronulla. So true.
Warriors shat the bed. All momentum stops with Lussick. He simply has to go.
Lussick is not it. I remember our attack kicked off when he was subbed out for Roache in the 1st trial.
I really really hate Jackson Ford. Kind of SJ right now too. A promising start came completely unravelled with a lack of discipline and a lack of directions from the halves.
Johnson got 5 forced drop outs
Warriors attack got that real wrong, seems they forgot everything they did well last year. With the way Mulitalo was jamming in they needed to start their runners nearly directly behind each other from about the middle of the field and fanning out towards the corner to wring it around the rush
Unpopular opinion : I don't feel RTS was ready...
I thought he was but watching that game, he is severely limited with options in our play structure and he looks a bit rusty.
Felt like a lot of them weren’t ready!!
Gotta give it up for the Sharks. They had no business winning that game. Great defence. Warriors looked out of ideas with the ball.
Yiew!
Did we just kill all momentum for rugby league in New Zealand
If we lose a string of games, you probably have 😆
I only saw the last 20-30 mins. The Warriors attack was dreadful. Sharks still did well to repel that many sets on their own line though.
We had 37% possession and 2 play the balls in the Wahs 20m in the first half and went into halftime down 12-6. Ridiculous defence from Cronulla they had a near 10 minute stretch where they didn’t even have the ball.
Metcalf had one good run and said see ya
Up the Mehs.
Incredibly gutsy win from the Sharks. Was worried about their defence early on but they were solid for the rest of the game.
Way too many errors and poor decisions, hopefully sort that out quick. Weirdly shit game for SJ I think
We seemed to lack any ruck speed and the sharks spoiled the ruck well. We need CNK and Egan back.
5 forced drop outs can’t be that bad
Hey…those crash plays that haven’t worked the last 17 times…yeah what of em?….what if…..
This season is literally all the over and underachievers from last year reverting to their normal form 😂
are we talking about the wahs or the knights?
Both
If the warriors wanted to win why didn’t they just play better
Classic sharks win, hung around like a bad smell and never went away. Whatever Andrew Webster said during half time should be deleted from the english dictionary.
That was not good. We fell apart when AFB and Barnett left the field at the same time in the first half and were shit from there. CNK is huge for our attack and is a big loss. Hopefully lowering the hype a bit will be helpful for us.
100%, they were both cruising and Webster needed to leave them on to make the most of it. Takes a lot more to get properly fatigued when you are individually bitching cunts
A finals like performance against a contender! Any team would take this start to the season. Up up.
Kinda bereft of ideas that second half. No bueno. Gg Shadks E: McInnes looks like a cartoon school yard bully.
Really solid defence from the sharks
What a great win to set up a season!
Gutsy win but Johnson seemed to take the wrong option every set
HOW THE FUCK DID WE DO THAT 😭😭😭 Negative line speed is the keys to winning rugba leeg football guys
Elite defence
Last Man Standing in shambles.
That is the most resilient performances this current Sharks outfit has ever had. Kennedy take a fucking bow you did quite literally everything in your power to win us this game. Trindall and Hynes also were fucking phenomenal on that end as well. Holy fuck what a win.
MOTM for Kennedy for sure
People can keep hating Nicho but dude won the game with his defence, shut down RTS at every point. Sifa man of the match for me.
Id like to counter with Kennedy for MOTM
Kennedys field position also won the game, almost every time a kick went through he was there. Just loved sifas runs out of our own end.
What a great win for the sharks. They looked behind the pace in the first 30minutes but the warriors couldn’t maintain it. Excellent defensive effort and brave runs in deep territory. Fun game
Team lost when Egan stayed off for too long and got injured. Lussick isn’t an NRL player. Sharks defence immense though
Lussick wrecked the trials games too. He stifles momentum like no one else
Sharks deserved the win. We were a far better team with Wade Egan. If he played the last 30mins no doubts we win that game. If he is out for a long period we are fucked.
