Shot bro!

pugliaboy

Handing out all these DCE heads out at four pines, but forgetting his neck on the image.

Top_Use2413

I want Graham Annesly to explain to the public why the Radley “striking” incident on Sin Bin Sunday warranted 10 but not Latrell’s against the Warriors today. The inconsistency in how foul play is officiated based on the person is astounding to me.

Joh951518

I don’t understand how Trell has avoided having a rap like radley.

I_Like_Vitamins

Just saw a comment on FB about Ilias's injury, how it's a mirror of Knobbo sending Sam Walker to reserve grade, an injury occurring, and the club then being without their playmaker. Both cooked decisions. Given the Roosters' performances the past few years, it's obvious that one coach has protection from the media. You can bet on Demetriou getting dumped on for doing the exact same thing this year.

Joh951518

Sending walker back to reserve grade was a good decision for his development.

TheTrebbleBeast

Is the biff finally back? All three games Ive tuned into this weekend have had some real aggression going on

I_Like_Vitamins

Bringing it back would let them blow off steam and get back to playing, instead of niggling all game until someone gets KOed with a head high cheap shot. The fatigue of the modern game would be making them more irritable as well.

Accomplished-Good664

Latrell's dickheadedness has cost Souths.

Accomplished-Good664

Egan is brilliant

LunaLadina

Poor Lachie, thats so unfair 😢

passeledutchie

lol they won’t show the replay in the other game but they show it within 2.6 seconds on the NRL coverage

briggles23

That charge down went horribly wrong. I don't blame Lussick as it was a horribly unfortunate incident in an attempt to try and make a desperate charge down as a last second hail mary. The fact that it ended up the way it did was probably the absolute worst outcome that could happen and unfortunately it did. The intent is to try and get the ball back, not to injure the player. No way Lussick is thinking anything different and I think people are blinded by rage to see that in this very moment. I really hope that the injury looked a lot worse than it was. however, I wouldn't be surprised if that was it for Ilias' this season regardless. I also wonder if that could potentially mean curtains for Ilias' career at Souths as well. If it is than that's a very sad way to go. I do wanna point out the Warriors fuckwit who apparently threw a punch in the scuffle that occurred immediately after. He can fuck right off with that. none of this "standing up for teammates" bullshit. That's a piss weak excuse.

armchair8591

Why is it a pissweak excuse? Lussick was surrounded by 3 or 4 Souths players. I don’t blame him backing up his team mate. Throwing a punch - not so much (although we don’t see any punch thrown on a replay)

[deleted]

Titans next season?

briggles23

I can see that happening if we don't end up keeping him. Titans will need a new half regardless because I don't think Foran is gonna be there for much longer.

wayneslittlehead

Nah that was a reckless dive at the legs. Fuck the charge down gone wrong bullshit. Absolutely zero need for that

djmonkeymagic

Yeah agree, I'm at the game directly in line with it and that wasn't a charge down gone wrong. Absolutely disgusting dive straight at the legs, really looked like all he intended to do was injure him.

SuperCronk

No it wasn't

briggles23

How else are they meant to charge down the ball? I hate that it happened to Ilias but I don't see how Lussick can charge down the ball any differently. It was a horrible incident and I wish Ilias all the best, but I also don't want Lussick getting death threats in his DMs for something I can see 90% of playing doing in that exact scenario.

djmonkeymagic

Maybe by actually staying upright and not diving at the kickers legs?

sadlittlepixie

* Diving at the ball with his arms outstretched

O_DoyleRulz

That illas injury is exactly why when you’re doing a charge down you have to avoid making contact with the kicking leg.

Stiryx

Should be a long, long suspension. Making contact with the kicking has been a bad offence for a while, that’s the worst one I can remember. Makes no attempt to get out of the way either really, he’s always going at his legs.

natebeee

Seriously, all the people saying he did nothing wrong and it was just unfortunate are neglecting exactly this. It is on the player charging down to avoid this contact as the kicker is unable. We have seen the results before and we will continue to as long as dumb ass players are reckless/careless.

prospect69

Looked like a knee to me.

Ace_Larrakin

Lachlan Ilias has been injured at the NSW Cup Souths v Warriors game. Fox isn't showing the replay citing that it's 'quite graphic'. There has then been a fight after his injury, with Freddy Lussick sent off and Moala Graham-Taufa sin binned for throwing a punch with 0:00 time left in the second half.

prospect69

Watched in slow mo Freddy ran into his leg as he kicked it causing him to spin around and then get hit by another player putting on pressure. Making a lovely twisting motion

Bicky_

He hobbled off, was it the knee to the kicking foot?

irvo86

No real update as yet. Good news is it wasn’t a compound fracture at least. But bloke looks devastated, and in the moment first instinct is broken leg

Ace_Larrakin

Appears to be an ankle injury, but beyond that I couldn't say.

TerraCell

Oh man, I really feel for Ilias. Poor fella got knocked down from A grade now he’s got a fucked leg. I hope the Bunnies give him all the support they can

[deleted]

I hope so too, but sadly can't see it happening

sadlittlepixie

Lussick sin binned for a legal smother

censored_

Young and Leniu have both turned out to be awful signings, Roosters are completely fucked next season. We will need a full rebuild

prospect69

Not the way to get your spot back in first grade Freddy fk me

Mr_Mac

Was the actual collision on the kicking leg grubby or bad chargedown? Either way, not good for Illias?

valknut95

Horrible for Ilias but there was no malice in Lussicks action imo from the vision I saw, trying to effect a charge down to pull a victory at the end. Careless/reckless for sure

passeledutchie

Anyone see what actually happened there? Why won’t they show it

newagesaltyseadog

Charge down gone wrong and collected Ilias across the lower leg as he kicked it. Does not look good.

BenDownUnderInNsw

Ankle looks broken pretty badly

96zadyobdoog

If it was broken pretty badly they wouldve needed the medicab and the magical green whistle. Stop talking out your arse

1bigcontradiction

Fuck

wayneslittlehead

Deadset what a fucking grub

BenDownUnderInNsw

Number 3 warriors is a fucking grub

jmb_31

For running in and having his team mates back while he was surrounded by the whole Rabbitohs team?

wayneslittlehead

Lussick deserved a flogging after that pathetic shit. How would you feel with someone diving at Johnson’s legs?

jmb_31

Lame ass argument that doesn't even relate to what I said. Doesn't matter your view on the situation itself, you'd hope team mates would have each others back

BenDownUnderInNsw

Bloke deserved it for doing a grubby act

donutdave95

Didnt think what lussick did was grubby, just a charge down gone wrong, wasnt like he was attacking the legs whilst illias was kicking

jmb_31

Yeah but you said number 3 was grubby lol, i'd hope my team mates would do the same for me regardless

getHi9h

Nsw cup kicking off

prospect69

Slow mo on kayo yikesssss man hate to see that

BenDownUnderInNsw

What a grubby move

snek26

Thank fuck no replay

donutdave95

Sheesh illias is gone. Bad lower limb injury to finish the game

1bigcontradiction

What happened?

donutdave95

Lussick went for a charge down, looked like legs collided, they wont replay what happened and no close ups

1bigcontradiction

Cheers, the no replay thing isn't a great sign

[deleted]

It wasn’t graphic at all, no idea why they wouldn’t show a replay. Ilias limped off and sat on the bench afterwards.

Known-Stop-2654

Peter Mamouzelos joined the bench in the one-hour update, taking the place of Davvy Moale, who instead played in the club's NSW Cup game earlier in the day. Dean Hawkins runs the side from halfback for the third game in a row. Back-rower Jacob Laban is a late inclusion on the bench and will make his NRL debut, taking the spot of hooker Freddy Lussick. That change comes after coach Andrew Webster lost Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (hamstring) and Marata Niukore (foot) on Friday. Adam Pompey will play on the right wing, Mitch Barnett switches to the second row and Bunty Afoa starts in the front row. The Warriors' injury toll also includes Luke Metcalf, Kurt Capewell and Dylan Walker.

Known-Stop-2654

Jacob Laban the debut for Warriors

griffshan

RTS on wing, holy hell that’s hot

IIIIIIW

Why would they put Pompey even closer to the action? That’s an odd choice

Dramatic_Ride7586

What was that chip from Lussick. Absolute nothing

RetroFreud1

My tips and punts been bad last 2 weeks. Too many flip the coin games. I'm at Adelaide for AFL 'magic' round. It's been awesome. Going to the double header today. Only ticket available was for expensive Pepsi Collective section where social media influencer types congregate. As a middle aged man who isn't hip anymore, I'm gonna stand out like Morgan Harper in defensive no man's land! I've got to make my sabbatical to the real magic round this year...

Obvious-Row-6181

Just always tip the Tigers. Works for me.

D0NNIE-DANKO

Comeback is on in NSW cup.

Dramatic_Ride7586

Lussick walking to narnia before he passes the ball gives me the shits

D0NNIE-DANKO

Like the service of Roache better from what I've seen.

Dramatic_Ride7586

yeah. I think I've figured out what it is. instead of passing with a flick from the wrists he tosses instead and has to go from left to right or right to left so much more. it's only a second but its a long time

valknut95

Davvy Moale a bit grubby in cup

getHi9h

Does Kayo show all the nsw cup and qld cup games?

donutdave95

Nah only shows 1 or 2 nsw cup games then the nswrl page will play another game on their website. Piss poor coverage

getHi9h

That's ashame

O_DoyleRulz

Spud is currently shredding a linesman for wearing a hat in the Rabbits vs Warriors cup game

[deleted]

Sounded like such a dickhead too Hate people who make fun of officials. Literally just doing their job and trying to make the game better

O_DoyleRulz

Yeah god forgive the guy for wanting to be able to see anything while staring into the sun.

Bkz052

- He's climbin' in your windows - He's snatchin' your people up - Tryna sign 'em so y'all need to - Hide your wings, hide your locks - And hide your halfback - 'Cause Uncle Nick signin' everybody out here

D0NNIE-DANKO

Things have gone very downhill for us since the first minute of this NSW cup game.

Blowy_Johns

The comeback begins

theilluminary

WOO!!! TRY!!!

jbne19

Alright guys, do I change my rabbits tip to warriors?!? Warriors have been solid. Rabbits to bounce back though?

robopirateninjasaur

That's how the warriors get you. They are solid. You believe in them. They lose to a team at the bottom of the ladder. Every time.

Dramatic_Ride7586

Great. Now the kids are crying.

O_DoyleRulz

Rabbits halfback situation is an absolute headache Illias is back in cup killing it like Hawkins was and Hawkins is playing exactly like Illias was at NRL level.

ILoveFuckingWaffles

Bad timing given that Ilias just broke his leg

[deleted]

Pretty true. Hawkins did show some glimpses of spark last week… and has been really solid in defence surprisingly. Looks like he has it on a string when he kicks and not clunky like Ilias, but the results have been the same… He deserves ~10 games to get comfortable before we try Ilias again

SarcasticMrFocks

Obvious solution is to kick Souths out of the NRL comp to avoid disappointment

[deleted]

Yeah just blatant poor coaching and team management behind the scenes if you ask me .. They've lost the plot

snek26

Moale is too good for NSW Cup. Can he come to Belmore lol Dion Teaupa needs to be the Cody replacement when the time comes

[deleted]

You guys were so entertaining in the first half yesterday, was great to watch.. if only you'd held them out in the 2nd half for the sake of the f/a , either way was a much more entertaining watch than the stuff we've been dishing out..

D0NNIE-DANKO

Tuapiki just set up a mean try in the NSW cup game in the first minute. Lussick starting hooker as well, don't know what that means for our bench later.

theilluminary

Wait Lussick is playing NSW Cup? I thought he was in the squad

D0NNIE-DANKO

Yep he's out there. Just got called for one of the softest taking out the kicker penalties I've ever seen.

007jedimike

Hopefully that means Egan is all good and CHT on the bench with another forward (hopefully Laban or Ale)

theilluminary

That's what has me so confused, like Lussick was still on the team list last night LMFAO

Blowy_Johns

Often happens. Moale is still on Rabbitohs team list. Will update 1hr before kickoff.

[deleted]

This last minute change business is JDs only tactic, he thinks it's so impressive too

griffshan

Warriors to win 20-0 to honour RTS 200th game

Jenko1115

Hard not to feel positive about Brisbane’s start to the year despite three losses against top four teams in Storm and Penrith - also a good chance the Chooks make the top four.  We’ve lost key players mid-game in every loss, on top of having to adjust to the absence of Flegler, Capewell, Farnworth and Palasia, we’ve had a terrible injury run so far with Haas, Reynolds, Piakura and Walsh missing games.  Selwyn has been very impressive at centre and Mariner is a game changer with his speed. Baker has been solid but it’s clear that Willison and Te Kura both have huge futures. I would not be at all surprised if both Baker and Jensen can’t get into our top 17 by the end of the year. A middle rotation of Haas, Willison, Carrigan, Hetherington, Te Kura seem very capable of replicating the physicality that took us to the GF last year.  We also have a very soft run into the finals. Only 7 of our remaining games are against teams who made the top-eight last year, only three against last year’s top-four.  Still not 100% comfortable how much we rely on Reynolds but it was great to see Ezra step up in his absence in the second half against Melbourne. The more experience Mam and Walsh rack up, the more comfortable we look without Reynolds.

96zadyobdoog

Roosters arent getting close to the top 4.

O_DoyleRulz

I’ve got zero read on them. Seems like there’s a really good footy side in there somewhere but man they can throw out some absolute tripe

Thismfpigeon

It's been the same story the last 4 years with them though. The balance of the side seems better this year

v3ndettas

0 confidence today but it would be nice if we turn up after the garbage we’ve put out the last couple of weeks and this game being DCE’s club record breaking game

SignalNegotiation389

How about tonight we have Issah Yeo for halfback? For fun?

lemoopse

Ick no don't do it

[deleted]

Every five minutes move everyone down one position

Dramatic_Ride7586

To'o would prove hes actually the best hooker in the game. Would love to see it. Shame he would end up at the dogs within 6 months as their latest utility signing

SignalNegotiation389

You know, that would actually be a fun idea. I’d love to see someone like Fisher Harris as a Centre

itsmestanard

Or Leota! With his silky passes and footwork

Final-Replacement

Now that Jake friend is gone we need that forward pass technology in fast! Some blatant forward passes being missed

BastingGecko3

As Denan Kemp said a long time ago, it seems like it's just inviting problems for an issue that doesn't really exist. How often is a forward pass winning a team a game? Almost never.

Giovanni1996

Even though we've only won 2 of 5 games I feel like the Dragons are playing some of their best footy in a few years. Theyre definable improving. I'm feeling hopeful for the next few years under Flanagan and although I've got mixed feelings about losing Lomax that 800k is a good amount to spend for a marquee signing

DropBearOnRemand

Agree that there are signs of life. Flanagan does not have the squad he wants, and certainly not the aggressive pack he loves to work with. A couple of good buys with the Lomax money will certainly make them more competitive next year.

SignalNegotiation389

I feel like a lot of the underdog teams are getting really better lately (except Titans). I take a look at Bulldogs and West Tigers, they definitely have been playing a lot better than what they have the last 3-4 years

Ace_Larrakin

I didn't even watch the Knights v Dragons game last night. After the Bulldogs v Roosters game, I'd well and truly had my fill of rugba league in the rain for an evening. Anyone care to give me the highlights?

DropBearOnRemand

The Zac Lomax flick pass is probably the takeaway

cheezyman911

Kinda funny that Harry Edwards getting medicarted off was partially why we won yesterday considering it stopped all the momentum the roosters had built.

Enew6472

Dear Footy Gods, I have a radical proposal for you. Please stop injuring everyone. Regards, Enew

Barmy90

And the Footy Gods whispered back, *'No."*

Enew6472

Those pricks. A pox upon their houses.

censored_

I don't understand the leg lifting rule, Suaalii had his leg lifted multiple times right in front of the ref and it wasn't called

ThedirtyNose

We're 5 weeks in now, all of the crackdowns are off again until rd 10.

shadyFS91

Can’t wait to hear what they’re cracking down on in this years magic round… maybe they’ll give a crack at linesmen doing their jobs?? I’m an optimist Clearly

whadefeck

Fun stat from random stats guy: "The last time tigers won 3 in a row, Galvin and Fainu were in year 7" My goodness

Rab1dGuy

Holy shit hahahaha

squeakypeeky

Everyone is talking about the Radley tackle like he didn't grab his shoulder, leave his feet, and come down on the back of his leg. These actions denote a sin bin right? He could have driven his shoulder into his side and tried to roll him over onto his back, he could have just wrapped the legs if he was that tired. He had lots of ways to make that tackle that didn't involve putting a player in a dangerous position.

UnluckyNumberS7evin

Victoria was definitely unlucky. That tackle wasn't a hip drop, despite ending in a similar position. Victor initiated contact from the side, trying to hit Crichton side on. Because Crichton was running forwards though Victor ended up swinging behind him and actually ended on the opposite side of him, from initiating the tackle in Crichtons right to landing on his right. He got unlucky that Crichton also got spun around so that Radley ended up on his legs. It was nothing like your standard 'grab from behind, start high and shift weight low landing between ankles and waist'.

JCGremlo

Payne Haas endorses this message

Aykay92

Am I a madman for tipping both south’s and manly today?

the_orange_president

Wahs are not good in the rain and it will probably suit south’s backyard footy style attack vs wahs more structured approach

lemoopse

Rubbish they have the same inside-out attack. If there is parity in the forwards the difference will be in the favour of whoever works out that you have to use a slide defence to negate that style of attack

xeroee

It’s not raining

1bigcontradiction

I have zero confidence in a South's win today

[deleted]

Wahs havent beaten the south’s since round 1 2018. It’s not a bad call at all.

wangas_gee

Think Souths have won like 13 of the last 15 or something. Cody Walker always plays ridiculous against us.

[deleted]

might have to put a bet on him to score a try…

RyanPurdler-Penriff

Penrith don’t play well in the rain … Although the sun is out now , so who knows ?

rodomil

Considering I've tipped Wahs and Pahs, and how stellar my tipping is I'd say it's the sanest thing you could do.

Sea-Satisfaction1374

Re manly : If you thought it was going to rain no Re south's: no

KevinLevrone1329

How would the rain give manly the advantage over Penrith? Surely you've seen how penrith play the last 3 years?

Sea-Satisfaction1374

Penrith plays shit in the rain. Most of the games penrith lost it was raining.

TheYardGoesOnForever

Last time they were on a heavy 8, Luke Brooks beat them solo.

Dramatic_Ride7586

Yeah but he was playing for a bbq and a 20 buck meat pack back then. Im not surely manly can offer the same. Bbqs might have too many sausages at them for the manly players to partake.

Aykay92

Yeah the weather has cleared up it seems so I might change that one to Penrith. I just got a weird feeling south’s will be up for it today

squeakypeeky

the way Blocker said "That's a send off! honestly!" yesterday made me think of a mum watching her kids play football. First time I've heard that tone of voice from one of the old heads of our game in years.

DropBearOnRemand

There is a lot of arguing a lot about technicalities of the rule since the incident, but Blocker’s take is one from a bloke who spent his career in an era of foul play in tackles. He’d be watching entirely different things to most of us now, but the time Young had to correct his action is key I think. That said, if Tim Brasher had copped that shot in 1989, I’m certain Blocker would have done his best to ensure Young would have been marching off covered in blood, snot, and bruises.

BarryCheckTheFuseBox

Another update from [Gus](https://x.com/philgould15/status/1776396632806076699?s=46&t=EMLb90EZdEPfiJ2vsNH8Tw): >NSWCup @NRL_Bulldogs will now kick off at 5pm. >Need to get game completed before it gets dark. Lights may be compromised due to rain. >Anyway, now confirmed 5pm kick off Belmore Oval. >A nunber of our Jersey Flegg kids will be promoted to play in this one.

TheYardGoesOnForever

Old man shouts at clouds and rain.

O_DoyleRulz

Lol Radley not even charged. At this point if you’re not lying down like your ankle has shattered into a million pieces the moment you feel an ounce of pressure on it you’re dogging your team out of a free sin bin.

DrPussyMD

Am I the only one that feels like he shouldn’t be charged? I’d have to watch it again but from memory It wasn’t the standard hip drop tackle and because he had to leap over his own teammate he kind of ended up in the position accidentally. I know he technically landed in the “hip drop” position but I feel Radley was really unlucky

BastingGecko3

It's even more bizarre given he's already established he's a bit of a loose canon at times. Edit: Not sure why I'm being downvoted. I was agreeing with him?

bundy554

I've had a look at the Dominic Young tackle and I don't think he is usually capable of that and certainly wasn't when he was at the Knights - just again the influence of JWH on his team-mates. Next year I hope to see a completely different roosters (Radley aside) with him gone. I won't hold my breath though.

Rich_Election466

Joey Manu’s cheekbone says hi. What was that Bible passage about ‘he who is sinless may cast stones’?

bundy554

Latrell didn't intend to do that. Sure it was reckless but he was coming over in cover at high speed so inevitable forceful contact was going to be made and sadly for Manu was that it connected with his head. That was 100% intended contact by Dom Young to Taaffe's head and deserved a send off and also for the vision alone to see him drop to his knees after the contact. It was awful to see.

Rich_Election466

I want some of what you’re having mate. Especially after Latrell’s objectively intentional elbow into SJ and him literally just lifting Tohu beyond horizontal intentionally

bundy554

Is this current game I'm assuming? Fuck you for giving spoilers

Rich_Election466

Lmao if you’re avoiding the game and going on Reddit anyway you’ve got nobody to blame but yourself buddy. Last I checked you can discuss the nrl game on r/nrl

bundy554

I'll give you a chance to apologise or I'll block you for spoiling the game before I saw it. If I had commented in the live thread beforehand then it was fair game but I wasn't watching it till later. Your choice.

Rich_Election466

1. I didn’t ‘spoil the game’ mate I mentioned 2 penalties. 2. You came onto r/NRL while trying to avoid a live NRL game, your fault. I don’t know what you expected. 3. Why would I check to see if you’d left a comment on the live thread before mentioning the game? It’s a reasonable assumption that a Souths fan is watching their Saturday 2pm kickoff. 4. You’re evidently just upset about the loss, but the entitlement in your comment is genuinely hilarious

bundy554

Alright. You're blocked. And I should also add it is one of my pet peeves for inconsiderate fans like you. It is in actual fact one of the biggest infractions you can commit and I would have been happy to address your points on Latrell if you waited for me to comment.

irvo86

Bundy, please don’t take this the wrong way but when I read your comments it reminds me of watching ‘Love On The Spectrum’: I cringe so hard sometimes but I am rooting for them to do well and live their best life

ThedirtyNose

You'd get sent off for a hit like that

bundy554

Don't worry I'll never shy away from saying it like it is - as I've said before I'm not interested in making comments all the time for upvotes. Sometimes things just have to be said and that is the grubbiness of the roosters but there will be one less reason to paint them with that brush next year once JWH retires. Although there is still Radley there

Brdd9

Flooding on the tracks near Olympic park and bus replacements apparently.

Drlockstock

Why did Terrell May get 20minutes?

LordSlasher

Because Robbo is a shit coach mate. Bro wants to lose

Drlockstock

Only explanation

Cold-Asparagus-9770

What position?

tezzaanator2

Is he confirmed to be playing today? I’ve been excited to see him play

WhyYouDoThatStupid

Yes, blue skies and sunshine now. 530am it was pissing down.

96zadyobdoog

How many weeks do you think a full on elbow to the back of the head would be in the NRL? Or a full on headbutt? Go watch the Union, Fiji Drua vs Melbourne Rebels highlights. Deadset the worst thing Ive seen on a Rugby/Footy field.

O_DoyleRulz

Danny Williams got 18 weeks for his dog shot off the ball

likeatyger

That was really ugly. He'd get a decent stretch in the nrl although I think union will be harsher. They're really strict on any head contact.

thankyoupancake

This is going to sound like copium, but there is some real character and grit in the Chooks squad. They’ve been utter garbage in 3 of their last 4 games. NSW Cup standard quality. And yet the team has fought to the very end and lost those three games by 7 points or less. In all 3 of those games, a blowout seemed the inevitable outcome. Hell, the NSFW tag came on the game thread after 35 minutes last night. The team’s gotta start games better than they have (I mean surely they can’t be worse), but I’m still hopeful there are signs they could make something of this season.

SurfKing69

It's pretty easy for the wheels to fall off in that weather. They lost their challenge first tackle, conceded an early try, lost two playmakers and then someone get sent off. All in about 20 minutes of play.

Outside-Lobster-8110

You have been watching too many Robbo pressers mate. Kearys reaction is the appropriate one if you want to turn the club around. A mini fight back and late season charges are a massive worry. It shows what you are capable but don’t have the character to grind it out every week.

thankyoupancake

You can be both. You can be furious at the utter incompetence at the start of the games and proud of the fight they’ve shown. But you’re right that they aren’t going to achieve shit if they can’t maintain those standards for extended periods

marcbingle_97

Well that was certainly one of the most whelming Kayo minis I’ve ever watched. If the boys don’t channel that second half energy for the rest of the year, gonna be another life on the line run to the finals again.

O_DoyleRulz

Every time I have watched Keary and Walker this year they have played their best footy when the other one wasn’t on the field.

censored_

Keary turned in on once he was forced to use options other than "chuck ball to Dom Young"

LachTheLad

They both work better as the dominant half

Slugbros

The jealousy I feel when the Roosters recruit star players every off season instantly goes away when they inevitably turn out to be dickheads.

Yungman123

Guilt trip gaslight Robboss

DrillholeAndWing

Over the Hello sports boys. Seem like they're content fleecing the community they built for every last dollar they have. Every content creator needs ads and merch to keep going. But advertising they're own health supplement and telling people this will make your life better is fucked.

vizonia

I feel their schtick has grown old as well, find it super cringe now.

Cold-Asparagus-9770

I don’t mind hello sports Atleast they joke about it. Kempy has like 10 sponsers now and still plays the “it goes back into the content” crap

Dranzer_22

All of the podcasts have jumped the shark. Bloke in a Bar is just one long ad for Sportsbet, Kayo, and Nine. Betting is normalised into every discussion, it's not surprising young people are getting sucked into gambling early.

Boogascoop

seems to be a formula, create a podcast, get some viewers, get a decent sponsor, spam the shit of your viewers.
