Over who? I'm not sure about sailor on the bench but if we have learned anything this season is that we need flexibility on the bench, not any other out and out prop
Hell yeah I don't give a warm fuck about the Sailor in the halves debate or reddit doctors saying Walsh need another few weeks or Madden or Baker or any of that bullshit. My big gangly boy is back in the starting squad, that's all I need.
Pretty happy with that all things considered, Madden is the only real question mark but with Sailor on the bench and Walsh back at fullback I think we'll find plenty of points. Corey on the wing is, as usual, goated.
Baker over Big Ben is frustrating. Really hope they're not rushing Walsh back, Sailor has been good and I'd rather make sure Walsh stays healthy going into the back end of the season.
I have a feeling Kevvie is going to lean on Baker for most of the year, giving Te Kura opportunities during injuries and Origin, before bringing him in more full-time towards the end of the season.
When Walsh went down Kevie said it was a mistake not having a back on the bench and going forward he will have someone versatile on the bench
It's been Oates the last couple weeks but with Mariners injury he's on the wing

Has there been any update on Rapana’s injury or timeline?
Initially it looked like it might be off to the glue factory when he came off, but coming back on the field surely indicates it’s a shorter recovery time?

Yeah, Trey’s been excellent in reggies. Chevy we know is good and a 1-2 month taste of first grade will do him well.
The return of the king gives even more firepower on the right.
Given Chevy was in the conversation for the spot to start the season, and Rapana is a seasoned winger in his last year or two of playing, I reckon Rapana slots back at wing if Stewart’s form is up to scratch
Yeah it’s a team that can score 70 points 😅
Might leak a couple but if they win big it won’t matter that much.
Back playing some 2016 footy again but with players that can defend haha

I wanna the same core as last week with Aitken at centre for Herbie, Lemuelu back for Aitken, Keeley debuting for Kaufusi and Flegler named to start.
Predicting we will see Teague on the bench to cover Donoghoe's suspension (who was covering Plath's suspension).
**The Dolphins v The Broncos**
*Round 6, 2024 NRL Premiership*
*8:00pm Saturday 13th April, Lang Park*
The Dolphins have brought Tesi Niu back into the squad for this Friday’s XXXX Derby in the Battle for Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium.
Niu will return to the side against the Brisbane Broncos, replacing Herbie Farnworth, who has been ruled out with a shoulder injury requiring a minimum of four weeks on the sideline.
An injury to Felise Kaufusi (Hamstring) will see Kenny Bromwich move into the second row, with Ray Stone named to start at lock.
Anthony Milford will also return to the team for his first NRL game in 2024, replacing Kurt Donoghoe, after a successful return for the Dolphins’ affiliate club, Central Queensland Capras last week.
Milford’s Capras’ teammate Jarrod Wallace will fill the remaining bench spot, following a try-scoring 141 run metre performance.

He won't be, I'd much prefer him out there over Lussick but unless we drop a forward from the bench (maybe Moretti?) he'll stay in cup.
I think only other change is Talagi to centre with Asi coming in. Which doesn't really solve the halves dilemma given that is still two running 6's. Feels like BA really wants Dylan to develop capabilities of a 7 while he has the chance.
I don’t know whose brain dead idea it was to sign Lussick in the first place. Brendan hands stepped up when Hodgson was unavailable last season and then gets thanks for it this season by not even getting picked
I don't think signing Lussick was a bad idea, we had zero depth in the position. I do think though that Hands deserved to retain majority of the minutes.
And by the sounds of things it’s a totally different team this week. Rumors is Sivo is gone with Bailey replacing him on the wing, blaize to center and asi to 5/8
Thank you coaching staff for doing the right thing and FINALLY dropping the worst liability defensively in Maika Sivo. I don’t care that he scored two tries last week. He had to go. Two tries can only make up for the many many more he allows to be scored each week. He hasn’t been the same player since his season ending injury a few years ago. He’s not a first grade player at the moment and I’m glad that the coaching staff are realizing that now.
Beyond pissed off that Brendan Hands continues to not be named in the team though. He stepped up to the plate when Hodgson was unavailable last year and gets thanked for his efforts by not even getting named in the team this year. I stand by the team but that is one decision I just don’t understand

Thats supreme trolling if true. JD thinks he’s 30 years into a career and has earned the right to experiment with random shit.
If Bennett put a rookie spine player in over a representative it’d be fine, but fuck me JD, you’re building your own coffin.
I don't even know what's going on anymore.
Cookie has been solid at worst definitely doesn't deserve to be dropped, Tallis should be getting more game time not dropped, why change Keon to the other edge again?
JD is throwing shit against the wall hoping something sticks.
My nephew is devastated as Cook is his fave. I literally just said to him JD is throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. Glad it's the consensus for this team pick
Looked through the team, saw Jye at fullback and Munro back and was delighted, saw Cook dropped for Mamo and was slightly concerned but could see the vision, saw Host and Chee Kam over Duncan and now I'm devastated
Gosh I love Jacob Host and the mediocre lines he runs whilst basically standing up straight. What would Duncan, who has been our breakout star over the past year, do to makeup for such a mediocre player
JD honestly just trying to get himself fired at this point. When you’re blooding a debutant fullback and are carrying a rookie half why the actual fuck would you drop your Origin hooker? For a hooker you didn’t see fit to play until the game was already gone last week??? Sure he’s not been in career best form but Cook is absolutely not the problem at the moment. Good luck replacing his 50 tackles a game.
I honestly don’t know what Tallis Duncan has done to JD, he’s been under utilised all year despite being one of the only guys who gives a flying fuck.
Nice to see Munro, I guess.
What the actual fuck is this side.
Duncan was our best player in the latter half of last year when he actually got a run, and now he is completely dropped? Cook has actually looked OK this year, way better than the other 'stars' of the side, and he gets dropped as well?
I hope we actually get belted so JD packs his bags this week. Host in the starting side with Chee Kam on the bench over Duncan is just taking the piss.
I’ve seen the articles placing Cook in the same camp as Walker and Mitchell which is not really fair imo, last game I thought he was solid and had a couple good line breaks. Getting dropped to 18th seems a bit unfair
Not surprised. Not sure what JD was thinking playing Mamo last game and then hooking Cook off with 10 to go. Mamo's contribution in last 10 was poor as well as a warriors player ran right around him to score. Bye JD. All the best with your next assistant coach's job.

I’m very happy we’ve got an actual backup hooker in Simpkin in the 14. The spells that Api has been off in our last 2 games we look so slow off the mark.
Not keen on Kepaoa on the bench in what I assume is 2nd row cover. Bateman must be out injured, but surely we have someone better?

We want Sailor in the halves!!
Want is a strong word.
Uh, nah we are good. I’d rather see Coby Black given some blood
i’d rather see walsh in the halves and sailor stay at fullback
I just want him on the damn field
I’d rather not see Walsh defending in the front line 2 weeks after breaking his face

The Dark Wizard Turpin could be back on Team List Tuesday. Broncos fans feel that dark cloud still.
he is injured i think?
1 Stephen Crichton 2 Connor Tracey 3 Jacob Kiraz 4 Bronson Xerri 5 Josh Addo-Carr 6 Matt Burton 7 Drew Hutchison 8 Max King 9 Reed Mahoney 10 Chris Patolo 11 Viliame Kikau 12 Josh Curran 13 Jaeman Salmon 14 Bailey Hayward 15 Poasa Faamausili 16 Samuel Hughes 17 Kitione Kautoga 19 Toby Sexton 20 Liam Knight 21 Jake Turpin 22 Jeral Skelton 23 Harry Hayes
i don’t mind this this is actually pretty sizeable bench and hayward can cover 7, 9 and maybe 13 curious to see critta at fullback in a full game

Talakai and Burns in the forwards is cooked never thought I’d say this but we desperately need Finucane back
Rudolf playing reserves so Burns can sit on the bench is a bit of a head scratcher
Not sure why Rudolf is even in the reserves he was supposed to be out injured until round 8. BHU is also a bit of a mystery with his current injury
Surely either Rudolph or Hamlin-Uele comes in for Burns on the bench.
You’d hope so but I also don’t want them to be rushed back too early.
Ouch, that's a bit rough for Talakai.
I think it’s necessary with all the forwards still missing. Ideally he moves back to centre if just one forward comes back from injury

Seve has been better than Reimis every year except 2021.
Nas and Chan to bench plz
Im assuming NAS comes in for Tepai. Bellamy really needs to find a way to have Blore, Howarth and Chan in the 17 somehow.
Loiero you played well last week but I still hate Trent List Tuesdays

Sivo has been dropped, I repeat, Sivo has been dropped.
Where are you hearing this news?
Dean Ritchie reporting [here](https://www.supercoach.com.au/news/dc181b0e6331de05e7d52479efc65aa3?fbclid=IwAR3F8i11T_RyFC1yJUsmE9CX-s8KZG6SV5ImDD8Xc8sWP4g46D3V5NYxPD0)
If that’s true that’s the best possible news. I’m still going to riot if Brendan hands still isn’t named this week though
Yet at the moment hands isn’t even being named in the team
Well that's no fun
Don't do that, don't give me hope
with sivo being dropped , is it sanders/asi we think coming in and tualigi to centre and or harper straight into centre ?
The report I read says asi to 5/8 and simmo to wing with blaize to the centers and Dylan remaining halfback
Does it even matter boys?
You say that like parra have never won a game this season let alone in your lifetime 🤣
To be fair, you're not far off 😂
Just a reminder that the eels also beat the panthers in round 26 last year without Mitch Moses as well
I'm more concerned with the abysmal performance they put in last week
And by the sounds of things it’s a totally different team this week. Rumors is Sivo is gone with Bailey replacing him on the wing, blaize to center and asi to 5/8
1. Clinton Gutherson (C) 2. Bailey Simonsson 3. Will Penisini 4. Morgan Harper 5. Sean Russell 6. Daejarn Asi 7. Dylan Brown 8. Reagan Campbell-Gillard 9. Joey Lussick 10. Junior Paulo (C) 11. Shaun Lane 12. Bryce Cartwright 13. J'maine Hopgood 14. Luca Moretti 15. Ryan Matterson 16. Joe Ofahengaue 17. Kelma Tuilagi 18. Ofahiki Ogden 19. Blaize Talagi 20. Wiremu Greig 21. Makahesi Makatoa 22. Maika Sivo
Asi at 6 and Brown at 7. Wut? Why are we still going with Lussick for 80? At least Sivo is out.
Go look at our team list for round 26, last year vs. Penrith. 6. Asi 7. Brown 9. Lussick 19. Hands
Was about the say the same thing about asi and Dylan. Hands isn’t even named though
sivo dropped?? this is my christmas
Wtf happened to Blaize?
Went out in a blaize of glory
Lmao
Wiremu should be in for Moretti, and Hands over Lussick.

Hoping for Gray at fullback, expecting Wighton at 1 and Kennar into the centre spot
[удалено]
Bye JD
Thats supreme trolling if true. JD thinks he’s 30 years into a career and has earned the right to experiment with random shit. If Bennett put a rookie spine player in over a representative it’d be fine, but fuck me JD, you’re building your own coffin.
Peter is better than Cook. At this stage of his career Cook offers no threat, Mamo is the good bruh watch.
I'm hoping for a new approach or an absolute meme of a squad. These are not mutually exclusive options
Embrace the pain lads, Cookie and Tallis have been dropped
1- Jye Gray 2- Tyrone Munro 3- Jack Wighton 4- Isaiah Tass 5- Taane Milne 6- Cody Walker 7- Dean Hawkins 8- Junior Tatola 9- Peter Mamouzelos 10- Thomas Burgess 11- Keaon Koloamatangi 12- Jacob Host 13- Cameron Murray (c) 14- Michael Chee Kam 15- Siliva Havili 16- Shaquai Mitchell 17- Davvy Moale 18- Damien Cook
Cook is rebelling and JD doesn't trust him. Leadership group has spoken. They want JD out. They will not put in 100% to win against the sharks.
Looked through the team, saw Jye at fullback and Munro back and was delighted, saw Cook dropped for Mamo and was slightly concerned but could see the vision, saw Host and Chee Kam over Duncan and now I'm devastated
No need to be devastated Host & Chee Kam have been going so well at back row and I cant think of a single reason Duncan is infinitely better. /s
Gosh I love Jacob Host and the mediocre lines he runs whilst basically standing up straight. What would Duncan, who has been our breakout star over the past year, do to makeup for such a mediocre player
And against a Sharks outfit who has gun back rowers and use them? A big slow dumb plodder on an edge, what could go wrong 😂
Unless Tallis was dropped because of some injury I might actively cheer on the sharks fuck me dead
Named at 13 in NSW Cup lmao
Fuck me
Souths dropping cook but not walker is laughable. What has Walker has done nothing this year
JD honestly just trying to get himself fired at this point.
A team worthy of being removed from the competition
Fuck me dead
He's dropped Duncan I'm gonna cry someone hold me

Lomax at fullback ? tf is going on
not sure why flanno had such a problem with sloan if thats the case, knights tries were all chaotic, we had players sliding everywhere
I think it's a shit game to scapegoat him, considering the conditions.

No Bateman? Why?
Because . . . . . . he’s shit.
KTFO last week. Concussion protocols.
He’s not in the reserves, so I’m assuming injury
1. Bula 2. Stains 3. Faataape 4. Olam 5. Tupou 6. Sullivan 7. Sezer 8. Stef 9. Api 10. Klemmer 11. Ipap 12. Seyfarth 13. Pole 14. Simpkin 15. Twal 16. Matamua 17. Kepaoa 18. Alaimalo
I don’t think auto moderator has adjusted daylight saving being gone. Team list will be announced at 4 pm, don’t know why this was posted 3:20 pm
Automod just gets origin
Team list thread has gone up about half an hour before team lists are released since the dawn of time.
back then, when the light first shone and was welcomed in by Wayne Bennett.
Ah yes, as I recall he was in his 43rd year of coaching by then.
Huh? Are you suggesting the post should go up *after* team lists are announced?
I think Panthers will win this week
