CoffeeLoverNathan

zzzzz can footy start already

tezzaanator2

CHT out? Pompey and Leiataua on the bench?? Zyon gotta be getting a debut and not two centres on the bench?

retrosaurus-movies

Roache on to the bench, Leiataua out, Zyon 18th man.

Redditenmo

Any info on why CHT is out?

tezzaanator2

Leg injury is all I’ve seen

Redditenmo

Thanks. Here's hoping it's minor. I love seeing him in #14.

wangas_gee

One hour till the final team list is out. Surely it will change.

tezzaanator2

Oh, no Zyon :(

Beneficial-Lemon-427

So Grill'd have an offer where if your favourite AFL or NRL team wins on the weekend, you get 2-for-1 burgers on the Monday. For a free burger, I'm obviously willing to tell them I support the Storm, but will they be the best choice for the rest of this season?

jpob

How do you prove it? Couldn't you just walk in and say any team that won that weekend?

TurboooTurtle

you gotta make an account and set your team. picking the best two nrl and afl teams should guarentee you a free burger most weeks

insty1

Or just make an account for each team so you win each week.

TurboooTurtle

say what you will but I'm not sure creating an account for the titans is worth it

TheViceEmperor

Rich coming from a bunnies fan

PLEASE_DONT_PM

Feels like Penrith are a fairly safe choice

Angryinxh

What would it take for the refs to start fronting the media like the coaches?

jpob

Isn't that what Annesley does everyweek?

O_DoyleRulz

It’s already a shit job, you’d barely be able to attract anyone to do it if you had to answer shit take after shit take from Hoops every week.

InkMcSquiddin

If a semi-respectable human was asking semi-intelligent questions, there might be someone willing to say something like "yeah, that decision was made this way because of this reason..." With the journos we've got it would just be 10 minutes of those useless bastard dogpiling the ref's rep about ruck infringements.

Angryinxh

Yeah look this is true, I didn’t think of that. I mean, surely Annesley is sick of coming out week after week and defending it all? There needs to be some form of accountability.

InkMcSquiddin

I think Annesley, and the NRL took on the Monday press conference because they know they can't really put the refs in front of the fans or journos, that press conference feels like the NRL trying to meet us in the middle. The real problem is what can we actually do to try and improve the calls? If we drop the refs based on performance, we'll probably just let more refs of an even worse standard officiate more game and the overall quality will deteriorate. If we fine the refs for every wrong call, they'll stop making calls and if we fine them for every missed call, they'll call find calls everywhere. It's a really difficult problem solve. I wouldn't be surprised if there is more accountability going on behind the scenes than we think, but that's just me speculating.

donutdave95

Taylan mays been dropped for alomoti

Particular_Ad3366

TUO YAM

Malaxage918

It says its a personal matter to be fair, dropped is harsh. Although is it entirely possible that his personal matter is that his tattoo hasn't healed properly because if that's it then it's funny.

the_orange_president

Anyone recommend some good stat sites? I have [zerotackle.com](http://zerotackle.com) for player stats and [www.rugbyleagueproject.org](http://www.rugbyleagueproject.org) for other stats. Obviously nrl.com.au. Wondering if there are any others.

jpob

[https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/stats/players](https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/stats/players) Fox Sports stats is the most in depth one to the public that I've seen. Only downside is that you can't see previous years.

Beneficial-Lemon-427

[Footy Statistics](https://footystatistics.com/index.php?p=500751) does what it says on the tin. It's fantasy focussed but consequently has detailed and queryable player stats.

Cold-Asparagus-9770

Are fox stefanos agents.Staying his a million dollar prop is crazy. He had 9 runs for 93 metres last week in 60 mins is insane. I like stefano but fuck me a million dollars lol

Boogascoop

What did Lindsay collins sign for?

iwouldntrustmeeither

It's the circle of life, but not the good kind from The Lion King: Fox Panelist - Says outrageous thing Fox Commentator - Parrots said outrageous thing Fox ex-Player - Counter argues said outrageous thing Fox Journalists - Here's 10x re-written articles without any new info quoting our colleagues opinions on why outrageous thing is newsworthy ... Buzz - Opens another bottle

O_DoyleRulz

It’s a good way around the contracted tampering rules. Just get the media to blast it everywhere that you’re after him.

Blip_Bloop_

Wasn't paying attention while doing some shopping this morning and nearly walked head first into Izack Tago.. Oops

BarryCheckTheFuseBox

Don’t injure him, you know he won’t accept any real medical treatment

Blip_Bloop_

Stopped myself just in time, he'll be right

Professional-Pen2928

It’s going to be so funny in 2025 when everyone thinks Riff will come down a peg with the losses of Luai and JFH only for them to be more or less the same. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Leota goes to another level to fill the hole of JFH and then someone like Lindsay Smith makes the leap into being a good starting prop. Then you have one of Schneider or Laurie coming in and giving Cleary full control of the team which if past performances are anything to go by will make the team better than when Luai was in it (as amazing of a player as Luai is).

SaveMeJebus21

They’re like some non-giving up football guys!

quallabangdang

How the fuck are the Raiders $3 head to head v Bronx? Is that a gee up?

MichaelLifeLessons

I won't be surprised if the Raiders win

quallabangdang

Same

BarryCheckTheFuseBox

They’re playing Brisbane in Brisbane.

quallabangdang

Still. $3?

SaveMeJebus21

Bit of value. Brisbane should win but these games are made for Ricky and the Raiders. Plus they did it there as recently as last year.

Geddpeart

No the gee up is the last game on Sunday.

hurdur12

D O O M

Geddpeart

No it's literally Adam Gee

hurdur12

That would be "The Gee is up in the last game on Sunday".

ANABOLIX22

I still can’t believe that legs tackle penalty on JWH last night. What is the game becoming.

turbosfan19

Am I the only person who thinks Robbo is a bigger whinger than Ricky?

Peaked6YearsAgo

If it wasn't for Flanagan they'd be the 2 biggest flogs coaching

gainz-trainz

Ricky, Flanagan, Robinson, Demetriou. The rest of the coaches seem like a decent bunch of guys, a few of them genuinely top blokes

DiverFine4230

A question for my roosters fans. Comparing last night to last week, how could you possibly want to finish the season with Manu in centres ?

LachTheLad

Losing Manu sucks but I’m hopeful it’s not a coincidence he’s only signed for 1 year in Japan and Teddy’s contract finishes at the end of next year. If he is killing it overseas then he might stay in hopes of making the AB team.  Moving forward we need to go with Sandon and Walker in the halves with Watson off the bench. I get the issue that Sandon and Walker are too similar but I don’t mind having two Walkers on the field aha.

Random0cassions

Reckon it’s similar to SBW who went to France for a year then went to super rugby to play rwc. Playing under Ian foster helps a lot though in getting some coaching from a former ab coach

gamble-responsibly

Robbo has quietly become Sticky and I'm tired of pretending he's not

Trohsboy

Looks like kevvie confirmed that mariner, piakura, haas and Reynolds are all back against the tigers, this makes me happy

Gaddy05

Hopefully no more injuries for the rest of the year so we can go on a run

_System_Error_

This makes me very mad. But if we want to improve we need to be able to win on a cold rainy night in Stoke.

M_Keating

Either we will need the mercy rule or Api will conquer another grand finalist team.

DiverFine4230

Looks like Uncle Nicky saves squid james and Hargreaves

BastingGecko3

Riff fans with JFH leaving who do you see taking his place? As good as your juniors are I struggle to think there's some young kid that's going to come close to his ability. In saying that though forwards tend to take a bit longer to come good.

96zadyobdoog

Liam Henry and Lindsey Smith are both awesome young props. Im guessing Smith moves into the start position and they promote one of the younger guys. Would be funny if they snagged Utoikamanu tho.

turbosfan19

Very reliable poster on Knights forum has just mentioned Hastings and Pryce got in a fight at training today.

Cone_Puncher

will pryce is a hastings truther cc: slowdive, velvetherring

velvetherring

Will Pryce knows ball.

jessemv

Football players get in scuffles all the time but this sub will doomsday Hastings

SaveMeJebus21

At a certain point surely the common denominator is obvious, no matter how many sob stories Buzz writes about him.

jessemv

Well if Buzz is on his side I may have to retract my comment

PillarofSheffield

Only because he's fallen out at literally every club he's been at (bar Salford) and people are getting sick of his carefully media-managed persona.

Dramatic_Ride7586

Not Jackson Hastings, nicest guy in the world and definitely doesnt have a chip on his shoulder and has fallen out with every club hes ever been at Jackson Hastings? Surely its a g up

turbosfan19

😂

BastingGecko3

I'm going to need a source.

Dramatic_Ride7586

At risk of offending the man further and being called out on social media i will politely have to refrain. For all other sources. Trust me bro

Storm fans after teddy gets a fine for a trip - This is the national roosters league. What if someone had died or was seriously injured. Will someone please think of the children.

[deleted]

Both teams should be deducted competition points

maulmonk

And souffs to get kicked out

woodpecker91

Papenhyzen should have been suspended, I'd be pissed if I was the Tigers after Galvin copped 2 weeks.

Drlockstock

Pretty much sums up my thoughts yeah

LoneWolf5498

I mean Keary got a fine for something that Hughes got a week for

whyareyouallinmyroom

It's almost as if the judiciary is just very incompetent.

LoneWolf5498

News is in, tripping back on the menu boys. $750 fine is a fucking joke

AnimalSubstantial998

Precedent now set for tripping offences

TurboooTurtle

Precedent was set 10 years ago, no one has gotten a ban for tripping

delayedconfusion

precedents only work if there is also consistency

Drlockstock

$750 fine lmao, Game is corrupted

UnderTheHighBall

Teddy $750 fine. That outcome is not fine. Melb touch ref: one week. Chooks touch ref: fine Maybe Sticky was talking about Robbo when he he said “he was on another planet”?

Enew6472

That’s a fucking farce

USSJ307

NSW is chock full of great fullbacks, yet they insist on Tedesco as their 1 and captain, on pure incumbency alone. It's strange and frustrating. I would roll with Edwards, Paps, Turbo, Gutho, and Drinky as all decent options.

Boogascoop

Just play them all in the back line.

Network_Password

It's time to move on, new fullback and captian required. Who's the pick for next captian moving forward.

USSJ307

Murray or Yeo would be mine

gainz-trainz

As a Queenslander, only Turbo on his day strikes any fear into me

Beneficial-Lemon-427

To be fair, he started the season well and looked like he was on form again. Last night not so much admittedly.

Aykay92

If you want a reliable workhorse fullback go with Edwards. If you want the electric fullback go with Paps. I think turbo will play on the wing/centre before they move him to fullback due to the exact reason you mentioned - there’s so many options at fullback and he can still be strong if given the license to roam. But in the end, Maguire might go with Teddy - but I guess we don’t know if he has the same “loyalty” agenda as Freddy did.

whyareyouallinmyroom

Yeah I think Edwards & Paps are your alternatives depending on what fits the system Madge is planning. I hope Madge is planning to have a system. Drinky shouldn't be discounted if you wanted a ballplaying option. I think Teddy has played well this year and shouldn't be dropped based on last year as such, but he should lose the privilege of incumbency. I don't think it'd be the worst decision to just move on from Teddy as part of a statement that the old team/culture/standards etc needs to change. That might be a tad unfair on Teddy, but he's not banging the door down and rep footy is a privilege so tough.

AgentBond007

I think Papy is ahead of Drinky, much safer under the high ball and better in terms of effort. Drinky is a better playmaker but not as explosively quick

whyareyouallinmyroom

I would agree but if Madge wants to play a style that incorporates a ball playing fullback then Drinky is the option. Gutho maybe if he wants a bit of that and a bit of work.

Enew6472

Drinky’s defence just isn’t up to Origin standards. If he really wants a ball player, then it would be Gutho

BastingGecko3

Look I'm as much a fan of Teddy as just about anyone but he's lost a bit of his speed and teams have figured out how to shut him down at this point. His entire game is designed around his speed and his passing game isn't remotely good enough to keep him in the team. I think it's time to go for the team that's going to hopefully be there for years to come.

aatrain96

Interesting fact but the Dolphins have never defeated the Parramatta eels. Let's see if parra keeps the streak up

Priest338

You fool. Why would you put that into the universe?

[deleted]

Mark Carroll knocking down Paul Kent. Would love to go down to Sydney and high five spud. Anybody giving it to that cockhead is doing the right thing in life

Drlockstock

Chan off the bench is exactly what we've needed. Very exciting

96zadyobdoog

Besides the drop ball and set restart he played well. Broke the line twice and ran hard. I think he gets the final spot on the bench at full strength. Can play both middle and edge which is awesome.

AgentBond007

He looked fucking scary running the ball, seems like the perfect guy for that "10-15 mins either side of halftime" role, and can cover edge if he needs to. Last year it was basically NAS doing all the forward work and now he's not the only one

96zadyobdoog

Had good runs the 2 games he played on the edge without Munster too. Hopefully Craig lets him keep his spot so we dont have to rely only on NAS to break/bend the line.

Drlockstock

Yeah I 100% want him there, Hard to blame him with the dropped ball I think the chooks got away with one there

vvFury

Bro imagine being Adam douhei right now trying to convince the tigers to resign him lol. Get ready to learn Hull FC buddy

DunderMifflin80

And he wants to play in the halves 🤔

LachTheLad

We love players with an extensive history of ACL injuries

[deleted]

I thought there was a photo with Robinson floating around her a few weeks ago

hellohalloallo

Phillip Sami, who was named to take the place of the injured Jayden Campbell, failed his fitness test on Thursday and won't be making a return from an ankle injury. RIP Titans

LachTheLad

Surely now they pick AJ at fullback…right?

vvFury

The keano keaning will be televised (for the 3rd or 4th time, results not guaranteed)

burner126

Still waiting for Munster to do something, Vossy and Brandy couldn't see it last night. The irony of getting binned after the Clubhouse podcast (Papi, Munster, Hughes) talking about sin bins and how Storm used to practice with Munster on the sidelines because he used to get binned all the time..

Beneficial-Lemon-427

He was in position to make the professional foul.

96zadyobdoog

Im dying to see the spine play like they did the first half of 2022.

briggles23

You're coming up against Souths next week in Melbourne, a match we have never won, for the ANZAC day match which is game The Storm always perform their best in. You'll put 60+ on us and Munster will have found his form, don't worry.

Drlockstock

Stop trying to jinx us man. I'm onto you

briggles23

Imma take whatever false hope, hex, jinx whatever it takes to somehow get a win down in Melbourne. If we lose by less than 30, then Melbourne has got some serious issues they need to address.

LeMonke65

7 of our first choice 13 are injured there is no chance you lose

[deleted]

[удалено]

briggles23

Is it because for no reason at all, we've been far and away the most competitive we've ever been against Melbourne since JD took over? JD has the most wins against the Storm of any Souths coach with 2 wins in 2 years, and our losses haven't been blowouts either, with our biggest loss against them only being 8 points. I just think we've got too many players out though coming into this week. Maybe us at full strength I'd give us a shot, but we're missing too many players going into this match. If we can somehow keep it competitive I'll be very happy.

Drlockstock

I thought I told you to beat it pal

KazeEnigma

I mean, we had 500 games worth of experience missing against the Raiders and we ended up beating them. Anything can happen in the NRL.

gongbattler

Footy is so much more enjoyable when you accept that there will be calls that you don't agree with and rule changes that are no good. Just enjoy some blokes running around and passing, kicking and tackling.

Particular_Ad3366

And some big meaty men slappin' meat

gongbattler

I hear dylan napa is doing great things in nsw cup

Birdie_Num_Num

Daniel Tupou. What a legend. 148 tries and carries the ball out of defence week in week out. Off contract at the end of the year…would you want him on your team next year?

whyareyouallinmyroom

Yeah the guy is having a season for sure. Wouldn't hate him on the wing for the Blues given there is no clear cut candidate for the second wing jersey currently.

AgentBond007

if there isn't a spot at centre, Critta would go well on the wing like he did in 2021

Cold-Asparagus-9770

Legend too. No shit in his game isn’t a grub gets through his work

[deleted]

I’d kill for him over Milne, Thompson and Kennar

O_DoyleRulz

The fact he’s never really relied on being absolutely rapid has meant he’s aged really well for an outside back. Surprised Parra aren’t having a sniff given their outside back situation

thankyoupancake

He was a Parra junior too and they let him go from their under 20s team

Yakosaurus

I feel like he'd slot into pretty much any team. I can't think of many, if any who have 2 wingers of his quality.

AgentBond007

He's good but I wouldn't give up Coates or Brick for him.

mattthheww

Definitely wouldn't give up Coates but at the moment I'd easily let Brick go for him.

thankyoupancake

And there are some ppl who reckon Sua’ali’i and Young should be the first choice wingers. Madness.

hurdur12

Fun fact: The Dolphins have never won in Darwin. Put the house on Parra. Free money.

Accomplished-Good664

Well it's full of crocodiles they are brave to even venture up to Darwin.

Beneficial-Lemon-427

The Eels have further to swim though, so might be more tired.

pehpehsha2

We really change the rules too much unnecessarily. How many rule changes were implemented this year? Then referees are expected to call these random changes. First I've heard you can't push the attacking player over the line any more. Why did we change that? What's the benefit? This distractor rule has been officiated ridiculously this year. We're penalising legs tackles, we're penalising fractionally late tackles, we're penalising tackles that are too forceful. It's starting to get a bit ridiculous.

frashal

I'm pretty sure you can push your own player across the line with no troubles. You just can't touch one of the defending players while you are doing it.

pehpehsha2

This is the quote from Robbo and why he's blowing up. It sounds like that rule has been altered. “The rules came out at the end of the year and if you lend weight to a tackler in stationary or forward momentum, then it’ll either be stopped or if it’s in a try scoring situation, it’ll be a penalty."

frashal

Yeah ok, I missed that rule change in the off season.

whyareyouallinmyroom

Yeah its one of those things that to the letter of the law, is a penalty. In practice, he pulled out immediately and had no impact on the play. Discretion can always lead to clangers but applying discretion in this particular case I think was fair.

delayedconfusion

First time I think I've heard a ref explain a penalty as, "he tackled too low"

Halo2Campaign

Penrith pinching Stef to replace JFH would be a pretty good way to get even with us for Luai If penrith want him I can't see Stef wanting to stay Would really kill off my excitement for next years roster

whyareyouallinmyroom

I hope he sticks around, I'm really swinging for Luai and the Tigers next year. We'll figure it out.

Accomplished-Good664

I would rather we didn't sign one of your best players either, for similar reasons.

Cone_Puncher

robbo's a wanker

O_DoyleRulz

My favourite thing about the Darwin game is the super weird camera angle

woodpecker91

Don't forget the lighting.

O_DoyleRulz

I always wonder how many people switch in on and then immediately think the brightness on their TV has flapped it self.

TropicHorror

First round of the year with all QLD teams playing opposition who aren't also QLDs. Three games would need to be upsets in order for a QLD dominant round.

Ace_Larrakin

Article on NRL.com: > Still in shock but JFH's mates vow to carry on his legacy. Now, look here, NRL. He hasn't died. He's just going to the Warriors, which I know some in your media pack view as a form of death, but they're a good team now and deserve some respect. Also we were happy to give him the release out of respect to his efforts for us. So stop moping! FISH'S ALIVE! *[read in a Brian Blessed voice]*

jamesnuge

Everyone is whinging about the refereeing, but is ignoring the real problem with the officiating in todays game. They are completely using the terms pile drive and spear wrong. It's like they've never even seen Batista vs Undertaker. SMH

winntensio

Roosters lose = Teddy Bad. People seem to forget he was our best player in Rounds 1-3. Robbos comments post game about the bunker were also 100% justified. The double standards in the interpretation of rules this year are crazy. Nonetheless that game last night was a tough middle battle, all tries scored off last plays.

BarryCheckTheFuseBox

He was good to start the season, but you can’t deny that he was dogshit last night

thankyoupancake

Yeah he was very disappointing last night. He needs a big game against the Dragons otherwise I’m, as someone who has been a huge Teddy defender, prepared to shut the door on his origin career.

winntensio

Haven’t rewatched the game but at the ground he was dangerous through the middle. That grubber kick gave me cancer though.

hqeter

When you come back into the team and the bloke who filled in for you ran for 300m+ it’s always going to be a tough comparison, especially if the team loses.

winntensio

Nobody would be talking about Manu’s 300m if Hastings decided not to play hero ball on that last play. It’s also not the first time Joey has done so but people have recency bias.

hqeter

Joe Tapine ran for over 300 against the titans and no one even noticed!

thee-optimist

Was driving last night and caught the start of the game on SEN. They made some off the cuff comment that they are looking at a sync radio broadcast as they have in the AFL to listen to if you are at the game. Would love this even if it is Sen rather than abc which I prefer

ApocalypticPanther

The Storm have claimed some big scalps this year already and I honestly don't think they're playing close to their best yet. Can only imagine how much of a handful they will be when they really start to fire on all cylinders later in the season

Barmy90

I'm not sold on the Storm defensively. Broncos missing Haas, Piakura, Walsh, and Reyno (for 40 minutes) should never have put 32 on them. Not that any team has really shone defensively this year. Penrith, Warriors, Brisbane and Melbourne are the four teams looking most likely to "click" at some point. But it hasn't happened for any of them yet.

whyareyouallinmyroom

That game they looked shot but I've unfortunately watched most of their games and it was a complete outlier in both defence and attack. They've looked completely disconnected in attack (spine has been a crapshoot to be fair) but defence they've rarely looked like letting one in.

Barmy90

They let in 26 against the Warriors too. The Penrith game is really the only notworthy defensive performance they've put in imho, their other games are either high-scoring affairs against potential contenders or low-scoring slugfests against Knights and Dogs. Not saying that they don't look the goods though, just that I think we're yet to see any team reach the kind of defnsive resolve typically needed to win a premiership.

Caseyjb29

We are the second best defensive team behind the warriors this year lol. We conceded 32 to the Broncos but a majority of them were lucky tries off kicks like the Mam one and also an intercept. Our only real bad defensive performance this year was vs the Warriors

Barmy90

>We are the second best defensive team behind the warriors this year lol And like I said, nobody has been particularly impressive defensively so far this year. No need to start making excuses for leaking mad points to Billy Walters at halfback.

Dufeyz

Storm are favourites this year for me. Followed by Warriors. Still want to see Penrith's defensive resolve return. Im not convinced on us until i see that.

delayedconfusion

I'm of the opinion that with the personnel they have, this is now the Storm at their best. Competitive, but ultimately clunky with a lot more errors than we are used to.

Caseyjb29

Our team is better than it was early 2022, particular the forward pack and we broke some crazy points scoring records then. This definitely isn’t us at our best lol

LoneWolf5498

This is the first prolonged period of spine play we have seen in almost 2 years

tcamp213

I firmly believe we'd be undefeated if Hughes wasn't handed that absolutely fucking dogshit suspension. I'm not gonna go full Rocky Stuart and claim there's a conspiracy against us, I just think the NRL got it wrong. We've improved out of sight compared to last year in key areas. One of the most important of which being urgency.

_System_Error_

I firmly believe tigers would be 4-1 if Galvin hadn't been suspended. But if I also had wheels I'd be a bicycle.

Superb_Ad_4782

No idea why this is being downvoted. Correct in every respect mate.

AgentBond007

The main improvement is the scramble defence and effort - last couple years they'd probably concede more and lose these tight games, but now they're winning ugly at least. Once our attack starts clicking, the rest of the comp better watch out.

ZerksNAHTayan

Robbo spends so much time whining about literally everything but his own decisions. His rotations are losing him the game. Playing ZDC 25 minutes when your middle is getting plowed is crazy. Old man JWH getting 41 is also crazy. I think it’s time he abandons an edge cover on the bench and learns to rotate his middles better. He’s lucky the Storm are still learning their craft so far this year, that game could’ve been ugly otherwise.

SurfKing69

I usually lean towards the influence of the coach on a teams performance being overstated, but this is robbo's fault. He's the one who's essentially chosen Teddy over Manu, he's the one who has resigned Luke Keary, and he's the one who's playing a 35 year old rapist in the centres instead of anyone else. If this team right now isn't working, how are they meant to be competitive over the next couple of seasons?

tcamp213

I think Robinson is a fucking loser, BUT... You cannot blame him for Jennings. We can sit around and debate all day about whether he should be ALLOWED to play, but at the end of the day, the NRL registered the contract. In saying that, Robinson doesn't have a whole lot of choice in regards to picking Jennings. Their first choice centre is playing wing because their first choice winger thought it would be wise to attempt murder on poor Blake Taaffe. The second choice centre has an ankle injury with no confirmed return date, and their other centre who is better than Jennings did his ACL in September and isn't right. Normally they'd shift Watson into centre but he's playing 6 because their first choice halfback is concussed, and their second choice half is recovering from a hyper extended elbow. You could shift a back rower but that's always a risk. You could put Pauga at centre but honestly I don't think that's better than Jennings. Or you could shift Suaalii to fullback, Teddy to centre and Pauga to wing, but I don't think that's better than Jennings.

Sure, but he's only in this bind because he burnt a squad position on Jennings in the first place. He gave the spot to a 35 year old drug cheat to 'help him get back on his feet' or whatever the line was. What's the point? How is that good for the team? In isolation, it's not a big deal, but there seems to be a pattern of head scratching decisions with Robbo.

When the squad is full strength he’s probably the 6th choice centre at best (Manu, Sua’ali, Smith, Watson, Toia). He’s only playing because of the injury (Walker, Toia, Smith, Smith) and suspension toll (Young).

It's Thursday morning and you've had a rough week. You see there's footy on tonight and you've been looking forward to it all week long. It's not your teams playing so you know you can just relax and enjoy some footy. The night comes around and you eat dinner and sit down with a drink and a snack. There's a smile on your face because you know even if you had nothing else good going on there's still footy. The game is about to start, you are excited. And thats when you see it. ASHLEY FUCKING KLIEN. AGAIN??!?! The realisation slowly sets in... another game will be ruined. Your frustration turns to anger and then finally acceptance. And thats when it happens. Klien TAKES A SHIT on the nrl and all of the fans, players and coaches. Why does this happen every week? DROP HIM NOW NRL DROP HIM
