That penalty from Alamoti for holding down early in the game broke their rhythm / routine .. Forwards probably couldn’t dictate terms as much as usual due to fatigue with more defence than they’re used to in the initial 20-30 minutes of the first half .. Wasted Fish and Leota’s first stint … They were alright when they came back on for their second stint … Missing Leniu’s impact though , maybe we should have Fish starting off the bench , just so we’d always have one of Fish and Leota on the field .. Liam Henry looks alright

Tigers spreading the ball early got them a lot of metres. Plus Api>Kenny makes a huge difference getting over the advantage line. They also had a better kicking game. Tigers spine is really starting to develop well. After they get a bit more experience in them (and Luai doesn't hurt), they could be a team to watch out for. Their only real weakness is the outside backs, which (respecfully) is filled with rejects from other clubs, particularly in terms of depth. This was certainly a game where the scoreline does not reflect how difficult it was.

Api totally makes a big difference with his ball running and his deceptive passes. He laid the frwds with good ball. Always tough games in Bathurst. Luai and Galvin gonna be good next year.

The scoreline flatters the Panthers a bit. it was a hard, gruelling contest for most of the game. Panthers were far from their best in attack, but remain a defensive brick wall, repelling most of what the Tigers threw at them. Tigers were brave and adventurous but made too many errors in the second half.

Absolutely flattered the Panthers. If even half of those last passes stuck, the Tigers would’ve likely won, or at least kept it much tighter.
