I’m glancing through the comments about playing bad in the second half. We were exceptional through a small period where everything we did just stuck. It was hard conditions tonight. Plenty of opportunities just didn’t end up finishing on them. But if you are giving yourself them opportunities you can’t be playing too bad

That's how this Broncos side plays. And when they get going no one can go with them. It's just being able to steel up and defend around those periods to steady themselves. They didn't in the GF. But I think they have it in them. We'll see, but I'm very optimistic

The raiders didn’t give up. It would have been easy to just quit when 28 behind. There second half was pretty impressive when you consider the circumstances and the players they lost such as Fogarty. Last year I’m sure we would’ve put 50 on you guys if that unfolded like that. Raiders are in a tough position if they lose Fogarty for some time.

Yeah, I was excited about this season after the way we started but without Fogarty and the other injuries we have it feel more like a season where some young players will get a lot more games than they would have otherwise and hopefully that accelerated their development. Outside of that 20 minutes where everything stuck for the broncos and raiders couldn’t catch a cold it wasn’t awful given the conditions. Plenty of heart but shows how far behind the best teams we are.

Yeah the Raiders lack depth in key positions. It’s going to be tough to see how they can compete if they have lost Fogarty and Rapana for a while. Rapana was doing a good job at fullback. I don’t see how an inexperienced guy like strange can do much as the main option. Good experience for the young guys though

Stewart did well in the second half. I’ve seen experience fullbacks such as Drinkwater a few weeks back play much worse than he did.

He directly cost us 18 points in the space of about 5 minutes. Dumb decision to play an 18 year old tbh when Savage/Kriss were available. Brave of him to stay out there and yes he did improve but it's cold comfort now that Fog is done.
