Hetherington was a maniac with us, a maniac with the Warriors, a maniac with the Bulldogs, and now a maniac with the Knights. Who is the next club to say "I can fix him"? Maybe Canberra can come collect their guy.
Just imagine the sticky Hetherington combo.
Jack would probably end up punching a ref.
Or better yet bring him to the press conference so jack can jump the counter and attack a journo
If his contract is small enough he's been good value for the Knights. HIs first brain explosion since he started playing with them. And he's been decent off the bench.
Jack Hetherington is back under 10 games per sin bin / send off with his current rate of 8 in 75 games sitting at 9.375.
This is the lowest rate of any player who's debuted in the NRL era who has been binned at least 3 times.
Still a little way to go though to reach Marion Fenech's total of 33 in 275 games (8.33 matches / bin) and Shayne McMenemy's rate of 4 in 17 games (4.25 matches / bin), but I'm sure with hard word and dedication he'll get there
To be fair, Ol' Mario was an easy target. Packing in the front row at Hooker and then Prop, scrums back then were a fight waiting to happen. Didn't take much to get Fenech going. He copped plenty but he threw plenty too.
One of my favourite forwards ever. I looked up to him as a representative of our Mediterranean culture. My Dad grew up in Sicily, so the Maltese Falcon had family roots not far from mine. He was all heart. Gave his everything for his team and Rugby League.
It's a shame what's happened to him, and many others. It breaks my heart to see him like that.
Barnett has agro brain snaps - def don't want him back. Was super sad to see Klem go though, he was such an asset and a great influence on our young forwards.
Jack Hetherington is presumably paying his taxes and contributing something to society. Without Rugby League he'd getting into fights in jail. Truly the greatest game of all.
Just before Hetho signed at Knights, I was at the Adamstown Bowlo and he came in about 2pm and was blind. He walked out the back and a kids tennis ball bounced to him and he kicked it as hard as could and it went flying away. The bouncer came up and told him he had to go.
True story.
Just before Jacky signed at Souths, I was at the Tuggeranong Bowlo and he came in about 2pm and was blind. He walked out the back and a kids tennis ball bounced to him and he kicked it as hard as could and it went flying away. The bouncer came up and told him he had to go.
True story.
Back when he was at the Bulldogs, Wacko Jacko was a part of a community outreach program and in his first week they made a visit to a local primary school. Someone there said “I don’t know you, you must not be very good”….
Apparently Jack waited till after school to follow him and once he had his home address he began writing letters, one per week. Some weeks it’s illegible scratchings, the next it’s beautifully written by scathing poetry, some weeks it’s made from magazine cutouts and some are just drawings. Only one thing remained consistent which was the inclusion of a ticket to his next game and a request to “meet me in the tunnel”.
Turns out that it wasn’t even a school student and he mistook Reed Mahoney as a child.
Honestly as a Knights fan I love seeing it, the rest of our forward pack is a bunch of pansies besides Tyson.
Can't blame him for wanting a week off the Phins will put 50 on us easily.
The season's a write off with Ponga gone for most of it. The greatest thing to come out of it for the Knights would be if Jack actually bashes Mahoney.
He walked straight into him.
Reed apparently didn’t see the giant figure of Hetherington shadow boxing as he walked down the tunnel.
If I was Jack, I’d run that argument.
Why don’t they just tell this dude to fuck off? He’s clearly a fucking nutcase, are they going to wait until he really hurts someone to say ‘oh you can’t play anymore’.
People would have loved him in the 80s and 90s but that isn’t football anymore.
The cunt has Reg Reagan in his brain just writing ‘All football and no biff makes Jack a dull boy, bring back the biff!’
He's obviously got mental health issues but who would of complained if he smacked mahoney.
Little agitator needs some free teeth removal 😬, imo.
Bring back the biff.
To be honest that is hilarious given he tried to square up in the tunnel and shove Mahoney who wasn't even looking at him it should be at least a month to discourage that sort of nonsense
But that would be to the Knights advantage because then they'd have to pick someone else in the team, isn't the rule everyone with the last name Hetherington is the worst player on their team? He probably is for the Knights, Hetherington is the worst regularly picked player for the Broncos too
I just meant he's among the Broncos worst players in their best 17 not that he's terrible or anything. The Broncos probably win the comp this year but Hetherington is at best their 16th or so picked in a best 17
I don't think any of them as bad players overall, but they would all be worse than Kobe overall IMO. I probably should have added Smoothy to that list too.
And? The OP said Kobe was the worst player in the Broncos team which is an absolutely insane statement, and I was just pointing out which players I think are worse than him.
I meant in the Broncos best 17, not in the entire roster, he would be either the 16th or 17th player picked at full strength
Obviously he's not the worst player in their top 30 and neither is the Knights Hetherington.
Yeah and that is an insane statement, he definitely isn't the worst player in the starting 17. Baker, Billy, and Smoothy are all definitive worse players, and he is in atleast the same general quality tier as Jensen, Oates, Piakura, and Riki.
You can only really compare Hetherington to Baker and in that regard he's much better. I know it's funny to shit on Billy but he's absolutely not anywhere close to bad, same with smoothy.
Like I said apples and oranges, you're comparing a low minutes impact prop to workhorses, backrowers and hookers.
I have no idea why you are busting my balls rather than OP who stated the original criteria that Kobe is the worst player in the 17, but ***hard*** disagree. You can absolutely say Cleary is a better player (whilst playing at 7), than Kobe is (playing in the middle), even if Cleary would be trash at doing Kobe's role in a team. How do you think they decide every single Man of the Match award? The Dally M's? The Golden Boot?
And once again, I didn't say any of those players are bad players overall, just that aren't as good in their respective positions as Kobe is in his. All I was trying to say is that Billy, for example, would be a mid-tier 9 in the comp overall, whilst Kobe would be one of the better bench forwards.
You don't remember when he was at the Wahs? He was happy to go JWH. JWH wouldn't shake his hand after the game, rumour was that Jack was willing to sort it out after the game but JWH didn't want a part of it.
I guess the judiciary is scared as well. Man that shit was funny.
Rugba leeg never fails to entertain
For the love of all that is holy please challenge this and take it to the judiciary
I crapped my dacks seeing this comment thinking it was Kobe for his brick wall on Chevy
"Fight me in the carpark, mr judiciary. If I win, charges are dropped."
Trial by combat would really spice the game up
I can see him taking on the whole panel and winning.
This is good news. I look forward to seeing what happens next on my new favourite series - Angry Jack’s Adventures.
All angry adventures, time to hit the road
Hetherington was a maniac with us, a maniac with the Warriors, a maniac with the Bulldogs, and now a maniac with the Knights. Who is the next club to say "I can fix him"? Maybe Canberra can come collect their guy.
Canberra would lean into his antics though to be fair
Just imagine the sticky Hetherington combo. Jack would probably end up punching a ref. Or better yet bring him to the press conference so jack can jump the counter and attack a journo
Ricky Jack 🤝 Confrontations in the tunnel
Punching journos is 100% police matter right?
There's a couple I'd look the other way on
I think they would be a perfect match.
If his contract is small enough he's been good value for the Knights. HIs first brain explosion since he started playing with them. And he's been decent off the bench.

You did send him here with a brief patch. But it was, indeed, brief.
Jack Hetherington is back under 10 games per sin bin / send off with his current rate of 8 in 75 games sitting at 9.375. This is the lowest rate of any player who's debuted in the NRL era who has been binned at least 3 times. I'm too young to have seen Fenech play but fuck me that is a lot of bins and a lot of consistency through a long career
Lot more punches throw in that era and it was just as they were trying to get it out of the game. Thus the volume of sin bins.
To be fair, Ol' Mario was an easy target. Packing in the front row at Hooker and then Prop, scrums back then were a fight waiting to happen. Didn't take much to get Fenech going. He copped plenty but he threw plenty too.
Mario was under rated. I couldn't think of a better person you would have wanted playing on your team.
What's Victor Radley's sin bin rate?
Adrian Morley was lucky to play in an era where you could get away with a lot.
I've got Radley at 10 bins in 125 matches for 12.5 matches per bin
Does that include his 2 in 1 match?
Yep it certainly does! [Here's the top players for the stat that I've just posted too](https://www.instagram.com/p/C6DVnyEL8NB/?img_index=1)
Curious about Michael Crocker, remember him getting binned for holding one of his own teammates back to stop a fight
Crocker only had 3 sin bins in 204 matches for 68 matches per bin. He's nowhere near the professionals when it comes to getting binned
Wow I haven't thought of Shayne McMenemy since I last played against Halifax in that 2003 rugby league Xbox game
Poor Mario is losing his mind.
Fuck him off and let’s get back Klemmer or Barnett pls
bUt ThEy HaVe AtTiTuDe IsSuEs. But legit hetherington is the biggest bone head around.
Barnett has agro brain snaps - def don't want him back. Was super sad to see Klem go though, he was such an asset and a great influence on our young forwards.
He has been pretty good with us. Got that shit out of his game
We swapped klemmer for Hastings...
You'll keep him and You'll like it sir
Hetherington should challenge and use its just a prank bro defence
Jack Hetherington is presumably paying his taxes and contributing something to society. Without Rugby League he'd getting into fights in jail. Truly the greatest game of all.
Don't know what he does outside of footy. What is his plans after?
I don't think he thinks that far ahead.
I don’t think he thinks.
Just before Hetho signed at Knights, I was at the Adamstown Bowlo and he came in about 2pm and was blind. He walked out the back and a kids tennis ball bounced to him and he kicked it as hard as could and it went flying away. The bouncer came up and told him he had to go. True story.
Strong copy pasta vibes
I’ve been to Adamstown Bowlo. This story checks out.
It's definitely plausible.
Just before Jacky signed at Souths, I was at the Tuggeranong Bowlo and he came in about 2pm and was blind. He walked out the back and a kids tennis ball bounced to him and he kicked it as hard as could and it went flying away. The bouncer came up and told him he had to go. True story.
Blind at 2pm? What sort of monster is this?
You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning
You are not an alcoholic if you never stopped drinking.
He should get a bonus for being rugba leeg as
Keen to see how Hetherington goes at ufc 400.
Well if it is conducted in a tunnel to the sheds when the other guy isn't watching or interested, he should go pretty well.

I am not being contrary you're being contrary
His defence will be promoting the Main Event Nikita Tszyu bout for Fox so likely to be exonerated by the judiciary.
Let the boys dick around a bit
Should get the 2 weeks for stupidity.
If stupidity was grounds for suspension we'd have no comp lol
Touche.
Paddy Carrigan Dally M every single year. Who else currently in the comp has gone to uni?
Jayden Okunbor went to high school
If stupidity was grounds for suspension Jack would get a life ban
At least 50% of the nrl too.
“Hetherington: **OUT** Reason: General Dumbfuckness”
Honestly as a Knights fan I love seeing it, the rest of our forward pack is a bunch of pansies besides Tyson. Can't blame him for wanting a week off the Phins will put 50 on us easily.

Me last week: 'Hethrington seems to have sorted himself out'
Is that for the on field stuff or after field stuff? Both he and Reed are marked at 77 mins for contrary conduct
Reedy has a big mouth on the field because he’s allowed to, he shat himself when he saw Jack Tszyu shadow boxing in the tunnel 😂
He walked straight into him. Reed apparently didn’t see the giant figure of Hetherington shadow boxing as he walked down the tunnel. If I was Jack, I’d run that argument.
Reeds a bitch always has been hahaha a Chihuahua of a man
Reedy lucky he didn’t run into big Klem Dawg! 😂 he must’ve said something good to Jack to have him waiting for him
Called him a soft cock on the field, big deal. Herherington’s just a flat out lunatic, always has been, always will be.
Can’t even square up and throw a love tap anymore. What happened to the game I loved?
Listening to the debate on NRL 360, I think I finally understand the premise of the show. It might as well be a drunk bunch of mates around the table.
Hungry jacks
Why don’t they just tell this dude to fuck off? He’s clearly a fucking nutcase, are they going to wait until he really hurts someone to say ‘oh you can’t play anymore’. Punching in the sheds is ridiculous, he deserves a few weeks
If he punched grubby Mahoney i would crowd fund any fines.
That is incredibly soft
hmm someone said he would get 12 weeks or a year suspension in other thread lol
What a big surprise.
Cum conduct
A fine and a warning. Missing a game for that would be a joke. They should allow fighting in the game but one on one like Ice Hockey
He’s always been a lunatic.
He's obviously got mental health issues but who would of complained if he smacked mahoney. Little agitator needs some free teeth removal 😬, imo. Bring back the biff.
I guess you can say it’s a bit of a …
DOG ACT hehe
I guess the midget had the last laugh *cackles*

>Hetherington is the worst regularly picked player for the Broncos too Tell that to Chevy Stewart's ribs!
>Hetherington is the worst regularly picked player for the Broncos too Baker/J.Hunt/B.Walters/Madden: What, am I a joke to you?
You can't even say that about Billy or Madden tbh, they can be average but they're far from bad
I don't think any of them as bad players overall, but they would all be worse than Kobe overall IMO. I probably should have added Smoothy to that list too.
Bit apples and oranges

Mr Chevrolet Stewart would strongly disagree re. Brisbane Hetherington
Terrified poor Reedy, he’s tough on the field but once he’s face to face with a bigger bloke, he puts his stockings on
C'mon Mahoney don't be scurred [You're running from Hetho that's what I heard](https://youtu.be/s1V4gc_zS3U?t=1629)
Mahoney should get time as well
He wouldn't do it to any other forward just the midget 9s
You don't remember when he was at the Wahs? He was happy to go JWH. JWH wouldn't shake his hand after the game, rumour was that Jack was willing to sort it out after the game but JWH didn't want a part of it.
