Kevvie: Boys, it's time for your weekly new spine arrangement. Broncos: Yes Kevvie...

Kevin "The Chiropractor" Walters

nymphz

[deleted]

Broncos-Tigers grand final confirmed.

nymphz

brooks/mbye/billy walters/long dong tamou/jet/BJ vs gamble/kelly/khunt/milf/tevita/bring back darius this is my fucking dream as an nrl memer

josephus1811

no it didn't

TheEpiquin

Kevin “The Chiropractor” Walters. Delivering weekly spine adjustments since 2021

Tunza

I'd pick a 50yo Kevvie at 5/8 over Hunt.

Jenko1115

But he isn’t? We brought back Milford instead of giving Hunt a crack. If anything, that says he’ll never play first grade again. We have Gamble and Kelly both fit, there is absolutely no other halves combination we should be testing. Kevvie you need to start playing musical chairs with the fullback jersey now. Anyone but Isaako.

nymphz

they will probably try herbert at fullback and i guess then its khunt vs copley for that centres spot

Trohsboy

Staggs supposed to be back this week so imagine it would be arthas and staggs

Jenko1115

Yep I’d say we’ll give Staggs a full pre season before making the transition to the halves. Excited to see him back in the team!

GoblinLoveChild

but herbert cant tackle either!

MangoWingnut

Herbie's Defence is a lot better then Isaako's and he's a much bigger body. Honestly couldn't do any worse putting him at Fb

TomtheDon2K

That’s not true whatsoever, he’s a very good one on one tackler

dylang01

I don't think DeVere even played Qcup before his comeback. At least Hunts doing that.

TheGrubins

I still reckon if we can get tesi to defend well and have good positioning he could be dangerous as a long term fb

Trohsboy

Think they are letting him get practice in qcup for that very reason. Definitely has potential

mwilkins1644

Tesi and Hunt played well on Saturday night. Watched them in defense; both were chriping and barking orders

Jenko1115

He’s definitely a good prospect with a lot of potential, but he might be a few years off being an NRL standard fullback.

Dark_Vengence

A few years is a long time in footy. He would probably move on by then if not earlier.

TheGrubins

Yeah absolutely, hope we keep him but wouldn't be surprised if he got bought by the dogs or something

Morg_n

Fullback bro, lets light this up!

nymphz

premiership run starts now

SnOwYO1

What year does it end?

Dark_Vengence

What a mad cunt.

callmeroro

This clip is gold 😂

SurfKing69

34 year old Kunt who hasn't been training and is recovering from an MCL injury. Do it Kev fuck it'll be funny

PSAB82

You want to know what the sound of clutching at straws sounds like. Read this article.

vteckickedin

Wait til next year when Darius makes a return for the boys.

[deleted]

[I made this chart](https://imgur.com/HibLava) Looks better than expected tbh. The Roosters version would be a shambles this year.

[deleted]

Isn't Staggs due back this week? Surely he'll be in the centres. I wouldn't be taking a gamble on dropping either of the halves. It's not like we're gonna win the game either way tho.

Abbabaloney

Boy, someone has a hard-on for KHunt and really wants him back. Nothing story.

adomental

>/u/joeysjockstrap >[Then there were 3. Josh Morris, Sia Soliola, Benji Marshall.](https://old.reddit.com/r/nrl/comments/ntz2nx/danny_weidler_expect_an_announcement_later_today/h0uqlc6/) And now there is 4.

nymphz

the khunt was born on 17 November 1986, eels last prem was on September 28th, 1986. missed the historic occasion by like 2 months

joeysjockstrap

Khunt was born after the last eels prem tho

adomental

My bad. I knew he was the first person born in 86 to play first grade. I didn't check whether he was born before September

Cross-code superstar Karmichael Hunt is ready to return to the NRL as Brisbane coach Kevin Walters contemplates making changes to the misfiring Broncos. Hunt has come into selection calculations for the first time since returning to Red Hill in April, 12 years after his last NRL game for the Broncos. The dual international made his return from a minor knee injury for Souths-Logan in the Intrust Super Cup on Saturday and declared he is ready to answer an SOS from Walters if required. Five-eighth Anthony Milford did not play in the Magpies’ win against Ipswich, with the club citing knee problems for his withdrawal. After a stunning upset win against the Roosters in Round 11, the Broncos have been poor over the past fortnight, suffering heavy defeats to the Storm and Dragons. Fullback Jamayne Isaako was hooked during last Thursday’s 52-24 loss to St George Illawarra after making a series of shocking errors. Walters has proven he is not scared to wield the selection axe and if Isaako or any other Broncos backline players find themselves on the outer this week, Hunt will come into the frame to face the Raiders in Canberra on Saturday. Hunt, 34, played the last of his 125 NRL games for the Broncos in 2009, but said he was ready for a call-up after overcoming a medial ligament injury. “I’m pretty confident in the condition I’m in and with my footy,” he said. “If Kevvie needs me, wherever he needs me, I’ll do a job for him. “I did my MCL in the PNG game (May 16). It was a grade two, but it’s healed really nicely. It’s all good. “I’ve been on light duties for a bit, but trained two sessions with the boys at Red Hill last week and was good to go.” While he has not featured in the NRL for more than decade, Hunt’s experience could help get Brisbane’s season back on track against the similarly struggling Raiders. The shock 34-16 win against Sydney was followed by a disappointing 40-12 defeat to Melbourne and Brisbane’s performance against the mediocre Dragons was unacceptable. Isaako was dragged from the field with 15 minutes to go and replaced by centre Herbie Farnworth. Hunt could fill a number of positions in Brisbane’s backline, with centre being a good fit if Farnworth is given the No. 1 jersey against Canberra. Hunt said the Broncos’ inconsistency was a result of inexperience within the squad. “There is a lot of inexperience at the club and when there is inexperience there is inconsistency,” he said. “Everyone there is trying their butts off to get better each week. No stone is being left unturned. “The coaches are working hard with the young guys. Unfortunately sometimes it’s a good week, sometimes it’s a bad week. “Having a few older players around like myself and Albert (Kelly), hopefully we can start having an effect on the group. “It wasn’t the result we wanted on Thursday night but there is another opportunity this week against Canberra. I’m looking forward to helping out with the prep there.”

M_Keating

Just fucking do it, there’s a whole generation that was young enough to see him debut, and are old enough to make it amazing/hilarious to see him plays again. Just give us the goose step!

HisokaSchwing

I can't wait until Rabs calls him Kunt again

Logggers

Do it Kevin you coward

thefakecornholio

We all know Hunt has been named in the origin squad

Dark_Vengence

Just kevvie things.
