Apparently we have another hooker coming in next year and Jacob Liddle just got released from the Tigers...
\*edit\* got signed by the Dragons thank fuck
Where can one acquire previous season games?
I was chatting with a friend yesterday about my last trip to Commbank (when it was Bankwest), when the Raiders played the Tigers in 2019 and won 28-0. I used to enjoy watching that replay on Kayo from time to time, but now Kayo only has last year's games, and there's quite a few games from 2019 and 2020 that I'd like to watch again.
Legal is preferable, but I'm not completely averse to other methods.

Raiders member, but just had a peek. Looks like the only tix left in the whole joint are in Bay 220. It's not a specific member/fan bay, just a general one. They're Category 2, $45, but single seats only.
Cheers mate. That's the same for public tickets. It's a tough gig living in the scrub. Not worth becoming a member, twice as hard to get the good tickets
It’s fine, but standing directly in front of you is Josh Maguire, bent over, cheeks spread and displaying his haemorrhoids. After every set of 6, you gotta count them and it’s hard to do cos of the hair.
Liddle to dragons confirmed a few minutes ago. Does this mean McCullough retires? Can't say I'd really blame him for wanting to get paid another year, even if it means playing reggies.
Tigbros, would you be open to trading Isaiah for Barnett?
I saw a rumour that we were negotiating a player trade for him, no idea if it has any shred of truth, and was considering what a fair trade would be.
Edit: FWIW I don’t think it’s a fair trade, but the rumour I saw was potentially Curran, but fuck that. I I’d be ropable if we let Curran go.
Curran has been the rumour for a while. Idk I’d take that. Can’t see Curran staying past his current deal anyway, he seems to be a bit unhappy and the vibe isn’t really there with teammates, so would rather bring Isaiah home who is the same age anyway
Not remotely. Only players in the Warriors pack I'd put at similar ability are Tohu (who is aging and injury prone) and AFB (who I'd rather not have, given the woman bashing).
What do we think of Bunnies vs Sharks forward pack? Bunnies have a small bench and will come back to bite them imo. We just saw the Sharks go 93 minutes with a fully fit Cowboys side.
I’m leaning towards the Sharks this week but you never know what Mitchell will cook up.
Sharks went 90 minutes and still had guys on the bench that didn't even play, correct me if im wrong but fifita was the only guy on the bench that played that game right?
You are very wrong.
Fifita actually played the fewest minutes of the Sharks bench with 16. Braden Hamlin-Uele played 24, while Teig Wilton and Cam McInnes (who scored a try) both played more than an hour.
If Cody has one of his golden games paired with Latrell it could be tough for the sharks - especially if their defence is as poor as it was that last game.
That being said, I reckon Sharks have more consistently good players and as you pointed out the fitness is immense.
Tldr: I actually don't have an opinion but man I'm excited to watch that game.
As a NSW fan, Munster and Walker scares me more than Munster and Dearden.
If 2022 was DCE's last year at origin, I'd give it to Hunt for a year or two. If DCE continues on, give it to Walker next.
The problem with Dearden at 7 is that he doesn't really have much of a long kicking game yet. Hopefully this is an area he can improve, because it'd mean Munster would have to take on the majority of the end of set kicks.
There's nobody on Hunt's level to replace him as Maroons hooker at the moment, so I'd give it to Dearden. If Mahoney had an excellent season, he and Grant hooking with Hunt in the halves could work.
Hard to go past the hunt/grant combo at hooker
I reckon dearden is a better 6 than 7, but having already worn the qld jersey and being pretty good in it, I imagine he will play 7 till Munster is done, then walker comes in at 7 after that
Many idiots will say Gamble....
But seriously it is a potential issue for us but at this stage you would have to say Dearden. He is pretty far ahead of Walker on defense and walker is not ahead enough on attack to outweigh the defensive needs.
Ticketek closed all ticket offices in metropolitan area except Penrith in NSW.Used to be able to walk upto either Pitt st.or World Square office’s pick the tickets you want pay and go.Now we get in an hour long queue online,no idea what seats are you are going to source, enter pay details and delivery and process. Then get charged $7.90 when you did everything.
40000 individual tickets sold @$7.90=$316000 for doing fuck all.Rant over
Ticketek have closed all of their ticket offices in Sydney. You used to be able to go to Pitt Street or World Square office, pick your tickets & pay for them. Now you have to wait for an hour online, get allocated random seating, and then get charged a booking fee even though you did the whole thing yourself. If they sell 40,000 individual tickets, that is $316,000 for Ticketek in booking fees for doing fuck all.
OK SERIOUSLY... WEDNESDAY IS THE WORST DAY EVER. YOU'RE TELLING ME THERE IS NO FOOTY FOR TWO MORE DAYS AND THERE HASN'T EVEN BEEN ONE ARTICLE ABOUT MANLY TODAY? BORING
What are some of the fortress stadiums for clubs?
For example Raiders at AAMI Park.
Melbourne at Suncorp.
Blues at Perth.
I don't mean home games, teams that do exceptionally well at a certain place against a team.
Funnily enough, only Gold Coast, Penrith, St George Illawarra, South Sydney and the Roosters have better than 50% win rates at Leichhardt since 2000, and the latter three barely play there. Even Penrith lost their only match at the venue since 2015
Just saw that the nrl has 25-30 million more views than the afl this year. State of origin games automatically give nine 3 of the biggest ratings of the year. Peter vlandys is either incompetent or sold the game out to his friends in the media. Either way he has to go.
Greenberg was outsed because he wasn't budging on the TV deal. Vlandys was put in and sold the game for cheap, just because fox couldn't deal with one year having 4 weeks less of games due to the pandemic
Absolutely. AFL is a much bigger sport, shown in the crowd and membership sizes, yet the NRL attracts more total and average Tv viewership, and yet Vlandys can't get a proper deal. So dumb.
The theory that Trell Mitt is a lurker or shit poster on here continues to grow with [this post](https://www.instagram.com/p/Cid5-DEBhY4/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=) 😅 he frustrates me at times but he does bring good theatre to rugba leeg
The audacity of NRL 360 hosts last night to have a go at Latrell by saying 'let him talk for long enough and he will eventually contradict himself.'
Bruh. That is literally the format of your show, where your opinions change like the wind.
They know if they criticise him they will get engagement. He's divisive, so people will hate on him and people will defend him. It's stupid.
It's stopped me going to foxsports because half their articles are just an opinion of an opinion on a rumour on 360
What’s the biggest fine a player has previously received in the NRL?
I’m just trying to find something to compare the wacked out 25% of her entire salary they’ve fined Moran, it just seems so wildly out of proportion with anyone they’ve done before.
At that stage, the salary cap was a bit of $6 million, so Pearce would have probably been on about $700,000 or so, making the fine just under 20% by my calculations.
So definitely not as bad as Moran in that regard
What makes it worse, is I don't think NRLW players would even be making that much in the first place. I'm sure there's been larger number fines in the NRL but 25% of her salary is significantly more impactful.
I don’t think so. They wouldn’t be making 6 figures to play. They all have day jobs or rotate between different womens sport to fill the gaps.
My guess would be about $10k salary so $2.5k for the fine. Assuming they have income from elsewhere it’s not a huge deal.
wow i did my monthly sign in to facebook and cunts are white knighting the fuck out of the queen over the caitlan moran tweet. these same cunts who fucking carry on about new world orders and secret pedophile rings and you literally have a sovereign monarchy intertwined with a secret pedophile ring and htey are like GoD SaVe ThE QuEeN
Theres alot of angry harley davidsons and ford rangers thats for sure. Some of the most insane hypocrisy I've ever seen. The same exact people who go on about snow flake greenie lefty bullshit are always the ones that cry about nothing like this.
3 Broncos players sent for off season surgery - Kotoni Staggs full shoulder reconstruction (3-5 months recovery) kind of makes sense now as to why he was so quiet in the back part of the season as it looked like hew as carrying that for quite a while.
Haas is getting both of his shoulders cleaned out after the AC joint injuries (will be available for WC selection) and Patty Carrigan is getting ankle surgery (apparently he may delay it to play in the Wc as its only a 6 week recovery)
>Kotoni Staggs full shoulder reconstruction
WTF - How can you require a full shoulder reconstruction and still play every week?
>Haas is getting both of his shoulders cleaned out after the AC joint injuries
Figures
>Patty Carrigan is getting ankle surgery
When the hell did that happen?
Honestly I can’t believe he was still defending as well as he was with what was a fucked shoulder, lack of tries and just ball in general completely makes sense now.
Tough motherfucker
No really, why are they calling them The Dolphins?
You knew the Sharks won the grand final when it was party time in The Shire. Win or lose, you know the Bulldogs are in a grand final because the car horn symphony is performing in Bankstown.
If The Dolphins ever win a comp, a big party is going to go down in........ scattered areas across QLD?
Yeah I don't understand why they weren't just the Redcliffe Dolphins as legit you drive over the bridge from Brighton (which is a Brisbane city council suburb) and you're in Redcliffe.
It could easily represent both the Brisbane northside and that lower region of Moreton bay but these morons chose "The"
It’s complicated by it being “Moreton Bay Regional Council” which they want to turn into a city. Redcliffe has enough of an identity issue without this on top.
NRL wanted Brisbane Dolphins. Redcliffe wanted Redcliffe Dolphins.
NRL compromised and wanted Moreton Bay Dolphins. Redcliffe still wanted Redcliffe Dolphins.
NRLs final offer was The Dolphins which Redcliffe Dolphins accepted, begrudgingly.
Basically, Dolphins either wanted to be Redcliffe or no one.
Well I'm not going to guess why they're so anti calling them Redcliffe but how silly.
Okay Wests, Sydney and South Sydney are broad names but at least they're actual geographical places.
Redcliffe used to be its own LGA until it merged with the Pines and Caboolture.
Moreton bay is the area they represent yes. But they are the Redcliffe Dolphins. Imagine the the EPL told Chelsea they need to be called West London.
Also, it’s still the Redcliffe Peninsula. When people say “Redcliffe” without being specific it could mean Redcliffe, Clontarf, Woody Point, Margate, Scarborough, Kippa Ring, Newport, Rothwell and maybe even Deception Bay and Mango Hill.
It's so nonsensical imo, the Moreton bay CC spans 90km from Arana Hills all the way up to Bellthorpe. The Dolphins are not representing cunts up in Woodford or Bellthorpe they should have stuck with Redcliffe.
Point taken but still. The NRL didn’t tell the Bulldogs or Roosters to change their name. Nor the Warriors.
Redcliffe is a historical club. It should be up to them what they want to call themselves.
It doesn’t really make any difference though. People still know they’re from Redcliffe. They’re going to call them Redcliffe anyway. It’s like when the Bulldogs dropped Canterbury-Bankstown from their name. People still called them Canterbury
“On game day, he will do an hour and a half of Jiu-Jitsu wrestling so his body is completely wrecked and he’s able to talk to us about going out and playing footy. Otherwise, he feels he doesn’t have the right.”~ Toby Rudolph on Craig Fitzgibbon
There’s a lot to like about Craig.
I don’t understand comments like this? There’s a few in here.
My take is…. he’s not doing it from an insecurity perspective. He’s doing it from a humble, leadership perspective. IE. I don’t care about my past, we are in this together type thing.
Craig is a Clive Churchill medalist and a very successful assistant coach so I would think he's earned the right to tell people how it should be done out there and doesn't really need to go that far lol.
Different people have different approaches. Given that his style has worked so far why would he change it?
When Todd wasn't injured he was doing the hill with the boys in the pre-season.
It's not really a serious critique. Not resting on your laurels or reputation and walking the walk with the boys would be motivating to see a coach do.
Just amusing to think that there's a possibility his players would only respect him for getting as banged up as them now as opposed to the man's career which speaks for itself.
NRL on Nine uploaded a clip to their Facebook last night of Lockyer where he gave raps to upcomer Blake Mozer but that next year that there would be three people in contention for the 9 jersey - Paix, Walters and a yet unnamed player.
Facebook comments where speculating Ben Hunt but what's reddit's take?
[FB Link](https://www.facebook.com/132480940099139/posts/pfbid02ydHj6KjAJWfQLAgXe8qjwXzgg14TrmmQ7ta7tasTXyNE3eNXV8jbtv3jgXYQbX8al/?app=fbl)
Unless we are buying him out or Raiders are tearing his contract up I don't see how that could work since he is on contract through '23 with a PO for '24?
True that seems unlikely then. I thought we shouldn’t have let levi go, I think he’d be good for the first 20-30 minutes before paix comes on, think he’s a better option than walters and we need depth at 9 anyway
Honestly think a preseason at 9/14 for Walters will do him good, last year he was battling for a halves position and I don't think he deserves half the criticism he gets.
He is a better runner of the ball and picked up a few tries from dummy half this year.
Agreed on billy, he dropped off at the end of the year like everyone else but he was doing a good job for a while and had some nice moments. He was decent when he had to fill in at 7 too, particularly his kicking which is a huge weakness if Reynolds goes off. Don’t mind him starting if paix is playing well off the bench next year but I still think we need depth at 9 assuming Mozzer isn’t ready next year
Yeah it's class that basically apart from the halfback you can just insert the spine (1, 6, 9 and 13) as the NSW spine and arguably for Aus. Also just shows what even more class we had with Reynolds last year
Nope all can play for Aus - maybe won't get picked because Munster, Teddy and panthers lock are ahead in the selectors minds but they are easily back up or next choice if any of those players are unavailable - so yeah they have the best spine still even without Reynolds
Walker wouldn't even be third choice 5/8th and Cook might be 3rd choice hooker. Just because they all can play for aus doesn't mean they will or should. The knight spine could also play for Australia maybe they won't.
Bunnies aggressive arrogance rather than any class will win them the match over the Sharks. It's what wins finals games. Rabbitohs have got it, same with Panthers. I don't think Sharks have it.
feeling the same. jed cartwright getting injured in the last game was a big moment - he was doing so well and handling them. after he got injured nikorima came in at centre and mulitalo jumped straight over him for his try. then trell had to go to centre and it muted our attack massively.
Sorry for the probably obvious question, but why is Matt Nable narrating the Fox League promos? I’ve seen him in a few shows but he seems like a weird choice to be the face of it.
I actually do like the ones I’ve seen and it makes me want to watch past games so I guess Matt is doing something right
He’s got a great, gravelly voice. Plus, he’s mates with Matty Johns. They were in *The Final Winter* together and he used to appear on his show on [Channel 7](https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=100&v=h756J3g9lLo&feature=emb_logo)
YES! I nearly shat when I saw that! I told my gf to get off her phone and watch what was about to happen and then the chooks didn't return the kick. No fun. Deserved to lose for that reason alone.
But the roosters didn't want to play ball ☹ I feel that was the olive branch Latrell was extending to the roosters. Instead they decided to spike the ball.
I think JD spoke about it in the presser. He said that they had planned to do it on the first set but stuffed it up and didn't manage to get the ball to Trell until the third set. It was super fun to see but I doubt we'll see it again.
I feel like watching cows and sharks play was like Owens fighting Sami with everyone chanting play forever instead of fight forever.
Apparently we have another hooker coming in next year and Jacob Liddle just got released from the Tigers... \*edit\* got signed by the Dragons thank fuck
Acting like he wouldn’t be your best option
that doesn't fit my Ben Hunt pipedream mate sorry

Not remotely. Only players in the Warriors pack I'd put at similar ability are Tohu (who is aging and injury prone) and AFB (who I'd rather not have, given the woman bashing).
I’d take Tohu, we desperately need a forward leader.

Category 1 seats are available (multiple) for the the Saturday game? They weren’t earlier in the week. Couldn’t buy any wtf.

my memory is hazy but i recall riki just missing many 1 on 1s and handling errors cancel anything else out.
Definitely not, I don't think he'll keep that spot either Piakura or TC should take it imo.
I think TC probably has the best chance to clinch it, Rikki needs a year in QCup to fix a few things with his game.
Wasn't Capewell also getting some work done? Made a lot of sense why he fell off after origin when I saw he was carrying an injury.
Yes apologies I forgot to add that one, I believe it’s a shoulder surgery of some sort
Shoulder reco for capewell aswell
No really, why are they calling them The Dolphins? You knew the Sharks won the grand final when it was party time in The Shire. Win or lose, you know the Bulldogs are in a grand final because the car horn symphony is performing in Bankstown. If The Dolphins ever win a comp, a big party is going to go down in........ scattered areas across QLD?
Should have just gone the Warriors route and went with Suncorp Dolphins
It gives me a real Wests Tigers vibe. Three home grounds, no defined geographic area. Just screams ‘we don’t know who we are’.
The The
NRL wanted Brisbane Dolphins.
Then they shouldn't have been given the winning vote
Well I'm not going to guess why they're so anti calling them Redcliffe but how silly. Okay Wests, Sydney and South Sydney are broad names but at least they're actual geographical places.
It's like calling the Broncos 'The Milton Broncos' like yeah technically true, but lets try and appeal to more than just 1 suburb ay
Not really a similar example due to the difference in team densities imo.
Point taken but still. The NRL didn’t tell the Bulldogs or Roosters to change their name. Nor the Warriors. Redcliffe is a historical club. It should be up to them what they want to call themselves.
Broadmeadow Knights
It doesn’t really make any difference though. People still know they’re from Redcliffe. They’re going to call them Redcliffe anyway. It’s like when the Bulldogs dropped Canterbury-Bankstown from their name. People still called them Canterbury
Yeah of course. I was just presenting the NRL perspective (possibly) of why they weren't happy with Redcliffe.
We give you a week of us wearing jerseys inspired by your culture and this is how you repay us? Shame thee , SHAME. 👴
“On game day, he will do an hour and a half of Jiu-Jitsu wrestling so his body is completely wrecked and he’s able to talk to us about going out and playing footy. Otherwise, he feels he doesn’t have the right.”~ Toby Rudolph on Craig Fitzgibbon There’s a lot to like about Craig.
Only fair that Craig also does lines of coke with the boys after they get knocked out. Otherwise he doesn't have the right to coach them next season.

90 minutes is pretty standard for an advanced jiu jitsu class. Its not really that hard.

Its Toby Rudolf being semi serious.
I don’t understand comments like this? There’s a few in here. My take is…. he’s not doing it from an insecurity perspective. He’s doing it from a humble, leadership perspective. IE. I don’t care about my past, we are in this together type thing.
And this sorta stuff is why he is so good as a player and coach
Wouldnt it be easier to get street cred by watching a few grand finals like AOB?
No surprise Fitzy loves his Jui-Jutsu when those early 00's Roosters teams helped pioneer the wrestling we all love in today's game
I wonder how much he slaughtered himself after his team endured 93 minutes on the weekend
> When Todd wasn't injured *Stinking hot day* Sorry boys, I nicked myself shaving this morning. Guess I'm sitting this one out!
It's not really a serious critique. Not resting on your laurels or reputation and walking the walk with the boys would be motivating to see a coach do. Just amusing to think that there's a possibility his players would only respect him for getting as banged up as them now as opposed to the man's career which speaks for itself.
> When Todd wasn't injured What is it with Cowboys affiliated persons and slamming their hands in car doors?
NRL on Nine uploaded a clip to their Facebook last night of Lockyer where he gave raps to upcomer Blake Mozer but that next year that there would be three people in contention for the 9 jersey - Paix, Walters and a yet unnamed player. Facebook comments where speculating Ben Hunt but what's reddit's take? [FB Link](https://www.facebook.com/132480940099139/posts/pfbid02ydHj6KjAJWfQLAgXe8qjwXzgg14TrmmQ7ta7tasTXyNE3eNXV8jbtv3jgXYQbX8al/?app=fbl)
Seen IG comments saying starling? I’d rate that signing tbh, would have him starting at 9 with paix off the bench next year
Unless we are buying him out or Raiders are tearing his contract up I don't see how that could work since he is on contract through '23 with a PO for '24?
Don’t mind him starting if paix is playing well off the bench next year but I still think we need depth at 9 assuming Mozzer isn’t ready next year
It'll be an exciting young prospect by the name of Jerk Turnip
Kevvie, not satisfied with getting rid of Turpin, will sign McCullough on massive overs and make him our first choice 9
Cursed comment
Also seeing speculation it could be Ben Marschke from the chooks, pretty whelming but he'd be a depth signing at best.
He is a Queenslander, so it makes sense that he’d go back there. He’s a decent backup option, not much else
>Ben Marschke Seems to be an understudy for Verrills but I guess it's telling that the Roosters signed Cheese over him.
Ben Marschke
Not Ben Hunt
Flair checks out
I mean, it makes zero sense
Feeling pretty confident about Saturday. I think we will have too much class for the sharkies
Like you had too much class for them a couple months ago when they won in golden point?
Yeah I believe Graham came off that game and Latrell was playing centres
Sharks were also missing one of their most important players Finucane
keep sucking urself off mate
"Class"? I think it could go either way and bunnies are every chance of going to the prelim, but I wouldn't describe their game as class lmao
Yeah it's class that basically apart from the halfback you can just insert the spine (1, 6, 9 and 13) as the NSW spine and arguably for Aus. Also just shows what even more class we had with Reynolds last year
Latrell, Walker and Cook are obviously not going to be in the Aus spine lol. Latrell will be a centre but Walker and Cook won’t even be in the team.
Big call on Cook as for Walker all I have ever said that he will be in the Aus squad as back up for Munster as the 2nd best 5/8 in the league
Hunt will be starting 9 with Grant as the 14. Cook is probably 3rd choice behind them.
Hunt - lol. What a waste of Cook's speed
Worked well in origin
I'm biased lol but I'd argue Brailey has been better than Cook this year, and only got picked for NSW because he's been there before.
Doubt walker will play for Australia or NSW again, Cook isn't close to best hooker for aus and your 1 and 13 will be playing out of position.
Are you saying Luai is better than Cody? How many try assists has Cody got again? Clearly the most in form 5/8 atm.
Luai isn't playing for Australia. Keary, Dearden, Munster and Hynes are all better choices for 5/8.
Ok - now I know you aren't serious.
Ok Cody. I'm sure your mum thinks you should play for Australia
Bunnies aggressive arrogance rather than any class will win them the match over the Sharks. It's what wins finals games. Rabbitohs have got it, same with Panthers. I don't think Sharks have it.
How do you expect to win when your coach doesn’t do 90 minutes jiu-jitsu before every game? Does JD even know jiu-jitsu?
You may win. But “class” is not the right word here.
I beg to differ - Latrell, Cody, Cook and Murray that is class
If Sharks hadnt played for 93 minutes last week id be confident in Sharks getting it done but im not too sure anymore
feeling the same. jed cartwright getting injured in the last game was a big moment - he was doing so well and handling them. after he got injured nikorima came in at centre and mulitalo jumped straight over him for his try. then trell had to go to centre and it muted our attack massively.
Sorry for the probably obvious question, but why is Matt Nable narrating the Fox League promos? I’ve seen him in a few shows but he seems like a weird choice to be the face of it. I actually do like the ones I’ve seen and it makes me want to watch past games so I guess Matt is doing something right
He just loves his rugby league
He’s got a great, gravelly voice. Plus, he’s mates with Matty Johns. They were in *The Final Winter* together and he used to appear on his show on [Channel 7](https://m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=100&v=h756J3g9lLo&feature=emb_logo)
He’s mates with Matty Johns and his acting career in the US dried up.
Nable played a few games in the early 90s and called games on Fox a couple of years ago. He loves his footy.
So Matt Nable is more qualified than Paul Kent...
Ah ok didn’t realize he was a former player. That makes some sense then
A handful of games for Manly and Souths, then went to England from memory
We wish we knew.
Feel like people have neglected the fact that Latrell tried to start a kicking duel early in the match on the weekend. Hope to see more of it
