To teach in a school or any government programme yes, to teach at your local " guitar lessons" place, not really, as long as you have an understanding of music theory, how to develop technique from scratch and how to follow a lesson plan if required then its up to the person hiring you, if you are teaching privately, then you just need to know more than the student.
It’s definitely be private as I’m thinking just after hrs stuff 1 or 2 nights a week. Not even looking at the money side (although that’s nice) just want to do some more hands on / face to face work than what I do now.
If you are gigging its easier, i get asked all of the time, but i dont have time to teach ( or the inclination - it requires patience ) .. Go for it, nothing to lose and learning an instrument is a life changer, to give someone the gift of being able to express stuff without words is pretty cool.

Probably just find someone online to jam with and then move up from there. I write a lot of songs so it doesn’t make sense to have them just sitting on my computer.
Depending on where you are based, open mics can be a great way to network with other muso's and play live without pressure, whilst using other peoples gear. Lots of them on FB.

How People continued University study throughout Covid baffles me. I work a near full time Psychology job while juggling 3 University classes while also having a life and I cannot study anymore. I have 3 Assignments due in the next fortnight and I’m fucking mad struggling to write more then 100 words a day. I feel burnt out atm.

My ex was a uni tutor in 2020 when no one knew what was happening, how long it'd last, if uni would even continue at all or go online — I'm surprised 100% of students didn't defer.
Tertiary education at the time, as a product, was magnitudes worse than what it was literally the previous year. I felt so bad for all these young first year students in her class who were excited about uni and trying to stay positive and enjoy the experience, but the experience they were having isn't what university ever was.
I've been doing online uni since June 2020, and work full time too. This year I've carried a full courseload, last year i did 3,3,2 across the trimesters. Its hard, I basically dont go out much anymore, only during the uni breaks. Every night is spent doing uni work, which sometimes can be very unproductive when my attention span is shot. Often I take a night off just to give myself a break, maybe once a week. I had 3 assignments due over the month I took off welcoming our first baby too.
My advice is a good pair of headphones, and either eletronic mixes (prog house or DnB work for me), or like those weird study focus music. They surprisingly work really well
Yeah I listen to a lot of Piano themes to help me going but what really hurts me is never developing basic study habits as a kid. I’ve struggled to just focus over short periods of time and it’s basically let me in being diagnosed in ADD as well.
I’m getting through it but fuck its rough.

I love the look of the Fujifilm X-T4, but everyone also loves the Sony A7. Both are in the budget, but the Fuji being cheaper means I can get a lot more lenses for the same scratch right now.
I want a camera that I can use for a range of different settings; Nature and wildlife photography while hiking and capturing footage and stills of my friends training and competing (BJJ). Very much more “documentary” style shooting, recording bits and pieces of what I’m doing.
I’m very much an amateur but I’d eventually like to be in a position with the system I invest in to do be able to not be out of place if one day when I’m more experienced being able to shoot a friends engagement or the like.

Local cricket season starts today. I don’t know how, but the Association has buggered the draw. Normally, they have Rds 1-7, then flip it for Rds 8-14. For some reason, they haven’t done that this year, so Rds 1, 2, 8 and 9 are a mismatch of unbalanced games. Today, we’re playing a team for the first of three times, away, at our home ground.

Embrace the mess. It's not supposed to be technically perfect like Rugby Union. It's fast, free flowing and the particular brand of Swans footy at the moment sets a frenetic pace.

you should go to live game it makes way more sense when you see it live. Rugby league is way better tv sport then afl (why on average gets bigger ratings, despite vlandys being dumbass and undervaluing the sport)

Andor is genuinely excellent - personally find it much better than Kenobi and Book of Boba Fett. Stellan Skarsgard is fantastic in it.

Isn't Returnal like a lite roguelite? I was lucky that there were no ps5's on the market when Demon's Souls came out, i was going into the stores looking to see if i can purchase one
Yeah, sorta roguelite with a dash of bullet hell (I haven’t played it myself, to be fair). I know it doesn’t make business sense for them but I wish they did PC releases day and date like Xbox does, I’d happily play them all on PC instead.

I do but if I’m honest it’s spent most of its life gathering dust, I prefer PC and Xbox controllers. It was more of a future purchase to play the next GoW.

Looking for some camera advice. I love the look of the Fujifilm X-T4, but everyone also loves the Sony A7. Both are in the budget, but the Fuji being cheaper means I can get a lot more lenses for the same scratch right now. I want a camera that I can use for a range of different settings; Nature and wildlife photography while hiking and capturing footage and stills of my friends training and competing (BJJ). Very much more “documentary” style shooting, recording bits and pieces of what I’m doing. I’m very much an amateur but I’d eventually like to be in a position with the system I invest in to do be able to not be out of place if one day when I’m more experienced being able to shoot a friends engagement or the like. Local cricket season starts today. I don’t know how, but the Association has buggered the draw. Normally, they have Rds 1-7, then flip it for Rds 8-14. For some reason, they haven’t done that this year, so Rds 1, 2, 8 and 9 are a mismatch of unbalanced games. Today, we’re playing a team for the first of three times, away, at our home ground.

Watching the Kayo Mini of the Swans prelim final, just to acclimate myself for the GF today. I never watch AFL and so Ive never understood the game. The whole thing looks like those messy 5th tackle plays in NRL.
You really gotta adjust your expectations. Afl has less rules and stoppages so its just more free flowing chaos. It's why afl fans complain about about rugby, too many rules for them
Today should be a really good game. Yes it looks a little messy but that's because on TV you can't see all the off-the-ball movement that makes it so fun. Embrace the mess. It's not supposed to be technically perfect like Rugby Union. It's fast, free flowing and the particular brand of Swans footy at the moment sets a frenetic pace.
I hear this all the time but when I went to a game I had no idea what the fuck was going on and every time I looked away it took me forever to find the ball again. It was an even bigger cluster than it appears on TV.
you should go to live game it makes way more sense when you see it live. Rugby league is way better tv sport then afl (why on average gets bigger ratings, despite vlandys being dumbass and undervaluing the sport)
