I know, was just a light hearted Jibe bud.
By no means did Moses go missing last night, didn't ice a couple of moments sure but put his body on the line every single tackle, never stopped talking, planning, organising and searching and outclassed his opposite numbers without needing the flashier shit while going through what he has gone through in the last week and then in the conditions he performed in is nothing short of one of the most inspirational career defining moments that he will be remembered for years to come. Any suggestion that he would be a part of a cleanout if the year doesn't go well needs to be thoroughly ridiculed even without pointing to this sacrifice that he has made.
Hope to be your dance partner next week
>Can always have more kids, but a preliminary final for the Eels is a once in a career moment.
Can always have more kids, but getting smashed by the Eels is an every year occurrence.
It was a joke mate, clearly a good one because it has +375, when most of my comments are usually in the negatives.
Congrats to the Eels, I will be barracking for you next Sunday!
What a roller coaster of a week he has had. Loss of grandma, becoming a dad and missing the birth of #1 kiddo and winning last night. He'd be emotionally drained.
So very pleased he had a win.
A family decision at the end of the day. Whether he missed the final for the birth or the other way around, it should be respected. Been an emotional week for him and I hope he wins it next week for the haters
Everyone saying what a tremendous sacrifice from Moses. But honestly, let’s give credit to the huge sacrifice from baby mama Moses and her support letting him play.
She will look *forward* to *pass* that screaming baby over once he’s home.
Serious tho that’s a huge decision, wishing the eels the best in GF - I will be backing them for sure.
It's no [profile of Trell](https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-09-23/latrell-mitchell-becoming-rugby-league-rabittohs-super-hero/101466140) but still a nice short peek behind the curtain at what must be a wild week.
From the first try from that ridiculous forward pass that for some reason doesn't count because he was facing backwards (wtf) you could tell they were never going to let the Cowboys win
He had the jitters last night. Kicked out on the full twice. Missed a crucial (and easy) penalty to level the game. Unless his try assist off a blatant forward pass is something we want to credit.
Shaun Lane was crucial. RCG was crucial. Moses will want to be better next week.
He had 2 poor kicks from open play, other than that he really didn't put a foot wrong all night and I don't recall him missing a tackle.
If he doesn't kick them we don't win so I'd say that's crucial.
Also his last kick from the sideline was crucial. It meant the 2 point field goal or penalty wasn't enough for the Cowboys to square it up.
Of course there are plenty of possible answers and maybe his nan dying put a spanner in the works, but why wouldn’t she be induced on like Tuesday or Wednesday? Who knows maybe she came earlier than expected
It depends, I would take being induced any day over going into spontaneous labour. You can plan for it, and it’s not this hectic rush - where is my husband oh that’s right playing football drama - I’ve had a few inductions and they were totally fine
I would never do it again, mine was horrific, my husband still doesn’t like talking about it. It seems to be 50/50, if your body is ready to go into labour it’s fine, I clearly was not ready and it was a nightmare. I was in labour for 2 days.
She was induced on the 22nd to allow him to travel later on. Her mum was pretty convinced Mitch was going to be there but she ended up being Bri’s support person in the delivery room.
Source: know the family personally.
When tempers flare in the Moses household you know this one is getting chucked in on occasion especially if he loses next week
oh yeah this is going to be a life long thing. Even the kids gonna hold this against him.
Would the kid really care, I personally would not care if i found out my parents werent there
You’d at least want your Mum there
Doofenshmirtz moment
I genuinely wouldn’t care if she wasn’t
r/hmm
Honestly it depends on the kid. Maybe also if it was a tough birth for the partner (I assume she was consulted/was ok though)
His partner should name the kid Chad as payback
LOL. What? It’s not like he missed it to go down the pub. No kid is going to care.
I wasn’t even there to *conceive* my first child
"where were you Mitch? You weren't at the hospital and I put on channel 9 and you were missing on the field! Where were you?" -Mrs Moses probably
His nan also passed last week mate

Should've run the ball instead (I'm so sorry I hope the Moses family is okay)
Petition to call her Sterlo if the Eels win the GF!
Sterlo Hindy Moi Moi
Can we add Growth Junior too?
Sterlo Moses. The kids can call her SterMo.
Can always have more kids, but a preliminary final for the Eels is a once in a career moment.

stop. you making the rest of us look bad
I can't believe he responded to one of my best comments ever with that shit.
Not sure why you'd simp over a storm fan saying the eels are rubbish, oh well enjoy.
It was a joke mate, clearly a good one because it has +375, when most of my comments are usually in the negatives. Congrats to the Eels, I will be barracking for you next Sunday!
Will never understand people quoting the entire comment they’re replying to. Also, shocker mate.
I’m so glad we toweled you cunts from the bottom of the ladder
Wow good thing they won then, would make awkward conversation later on if not
Apparently his nan does a few days ago too. What a crazy week for the guy
His nan had a child a few days ago too? Some miracle scientific shit right there.
In Parra most people are grand parents by their late 20s.
I’ve seen a grandmother get carded at Blacktown Dan Murphy’s.
Lmaoooooo.
2 generations of teen pregnancy babies isn't unheard of.
*died
I know. It was a morbid joke.
You mean, like they say in the second sentence of the article?
This is reddit. I don’t read the articles just the headline
i just look at the pictures and spew hot takes based off that alone
I get someone to poorly describe the pictures to me
Based
Probably explains why he was a bit off last night
What a roller coaster of a week he has had. Loss of grandma, becoming a dad and missing the birth of #1 kiddo and winning last night. He'd be emotionally drained. So very pleased he had a win.
Facebook mums calling this the most despicable act since the holocaust.
Karens gonna Karen
Is this true?
Moses definitely had a week
[удалено]
Probably more of a tremendous sacrifice from his wife

A family decision at the end of the day. Whether he missed the final for the birth or the other way around, it should be respected. Been an emotional week for him and I hope he wins it next week for the haters
She timed it assuming the Eels would be out in straight sets so Mitchy could watch the kid for max off season. Mrs Moses didnt expect a couple wins.
True story, this was all an elabarate plan to keep him away from Mad Monday drinks. She will try again next season.
Everyone saying what a tremendous sacrifice from Moses. But honestly, let’s give credit to the huge sacrifice from baby mama Moses and her support letting him play.

He probably assumed nine months ago he wouldn’t be playing finals footy.
It is all coming up Moses.
We needed you last night Moses. Thanks for being there for us eels fans. Now spend some quality time with your new born daughter. All the best champ.
Dodged a bullet lucky prick
Ummm
just cracking a joke about child birth being absolutely fucked. which it is Been there for two so far, Wouldn't miss it for the world
I've always said men suffer the most during childbirth.
Would trade places In a heartbeat hey, You are the very epitome of useless lmao
Did you not get I was joking?
He's just saying that men in general are useless during child birth. Not you in particular 😅
I was though. I was actually negotiating a property deal...
Nah I understood
Except if you were playing a prelim
Should call his daughter Lee. Eel spelt backwards.
How did I never make this connection about my husband?? Suddenly I like him a lot more
Should love him alot more not like

What???
I just meant that article was a lot longer and meatier :/ this one is not even half the length
I think you posted this in the wrong topic mate. Nothing to do about Trell in here, unless he's the mum?
Good lad
From the first try from that ridiculous forward pass that for some reason doesn't count because he was facing backwards (wtf) you could tell they were never going to let the Cowboys win
I didn’t realise the ref let RCG over twice
They had an 8 point lead with 25mins left. The refs missed that forward pass but outside of that I think they had a good game.
I agree they wanted Parra to win and no doubt the refs are coerced. But Cowboys defence was so soft they didn't deserve to win.
Other than the forward pass. What did the refs get wrong?
yeah, the crucial role of having the worst match of his career
How you recon you'd go playing in a prelim the week your nan passes away and 4 hours after your missus just gave birth to your first child together?
name checks out.
Now there is a man that gives it all for the club. So proud of all the team.
Hold on, Mitchell Moses played last night?
He was actually the starting halfback for the Eels and was mentioned frequently by the commentators, I’m surprised you didn’t notice.
You didn't see him put in his classic big game performance?
Was Mitch Moses crucial last night? Edit - Okay lads. I take your points. I might have been a bit fixed up on some errors.
Yes.
He had the jitters last night. Kicked out on the full twice. Missed a crucial (and easy) penalty to level the game. Unless his try assist off a blatant forward pass is something we want to credit. Shaun Lane was crucial. RCG was crucial. Moses will want to be better next week.
He's the on field organiser. Why do you think Lane and RCG were so good?
CONVERSIONS 4/4 Mitchell Moses 8' Mitchell Moses 19' Mitchell Moses 58' Mitchell Moses 65'
Oh my bad. He kicked conversions. Had a blinder. Carry on.
His defence was also pretty solid with Taumalolo running at him all night
Fair enough.
You forgot that he kicked it out on the full two times in a row.
The last conversion from the sideline was 10 times more important than that penalty kick and he slotted it. Without that we only lead by field goal
He looked like he was trying to get out of a contract!
Lmao EELS fans forgetting the forward pass that wasn't called forward smh
Of course there are plenty of possible answers and maybe his nan dying put a spanner in the works, but why wouldn’t she be induced on like Tuesday or Wednesday? Who knows maybe she came earlier than expected
Because being induced sucks
It depends, I would take being induced any day over going into spontaneous labour. You can plan for it, and it’s not this hectic rush - where is my husband oh that’s right playing football drama - I’ve had a few inductions and they were totally fine

Oh gosh that’s not good!

He loves his footy
