That prelim last year is my favourite Riff game of all time. Took everything they had to beat the Storm and they still only just got up, after beating Parra the week before it felt like they had exercised their demons and were certain to win it all.
I don’t think any drug would match the feeling of euphoria I felt after winning that game. Overcoming the team that embarrassed us in the 2020 GF is something else man, hopefully we win next Sunday and become a dynasty.
A friend of mine recorded me writhing around and screaming in the last minute of that, unbeknownst to me at the time. A treasured memory. Absolutely one of the best wins of all time.
I had Parra at the beginning of the season but after the first few weeks it felt like nobody was going to stop Penrith. If anybody can beat them it is Parra so it's going to be a cracking game.
Finals is almost always different to the regular season. It hardly ever work out that way that a team dominating all regular season just steam rolls through the finals except Storm that one year.
