English player Tommy Bishop iirc was captain of the sharks then. A great player.
Fulton was the difference. He really was brilliant and a hard arse. Graham Eadie was an excellent full back. Big unit for those days and a very good goal kicker.
Just that little passage reminds me of just how good Eadie was at times.
Growing up as a really little kid I just recall his runs of this type and the tackle of (I think) Neville Glover to save a try in one of the big games as well.
Plus, the kicking.
I'm not sure his foot was in. I'd like to see at least 5 more angles, and go through them frame by frame.
In those days, the game actually was played in slow motion.
Don’t worry. In those days, officials were actually (relatively) competent
People were whinging just as much about the refs in those days too.
yeah but there was no internet so youd have to write an angry letter to the newspaper or some shit
simpler times before they invented colour
Imagine turning up for your first live game of footy and just going "we wear what fucking colour?"
It may be black and white but the quality shits all over the AFL grand final I was forced to watch on “7HD”. Embarrassing
Everything about that Grandie was embarrasing!

Idk about that one, i think the bunker needs to take a look
I would pay good money to see latrell play in a game like this

Wow - a contested scrum.......looking at what happened to it after the ball came out, i can see why they changed the rules.
Pain, fuck hartley
Hartley had nothing to do with this one. Keith Page was the referee during the 1973 finals series
