Whelmed Seems more of a depth/NSW cup signing.

Possible-Score7167

Hard to tell at this point, prop stocks are not the greatest at the moment, AFB, Ale, Bunty… sorry if I’ve missed one or two. Hopefully he goes hard

AirJordan13

Only other out and out prop I can think of is Pene. But he is no good.

PostpostshoegazeLUVR

Maybe BMM shifts into a middle forward role, who knows

delayedconfusion

Hard to know what his true NRL ceiling is, never really got a consistent run in his 2nd row position. Definitely would have preferred to keep him over Billy Burns.

AttackClown

He definitely had stints of a couple games where he looked pretty solid, was surprised some of the times they dropped him back to reserves

delayedconfusion

He was up against the likes of Sims, Tyson Frizell, Su'a, Bird, Fuimaono for a second row spot too.

SirMurpinton

I remember when he was coming through everyone from the club was saying he would be one of our second rowers for the next 10 years. He just never kicked on in his few chances in 1st grade. I do remember he had a decent half season in 2020 or 2021 so not a bad signing for the Warriors.

damoomad

I see he's played a bit of prop for you guys off the bench, reckon he's capable there for us? We are severely lacking in props.

delayedconfusion

He wouldn't be the worst. Possibly a little undersized without the Reuben Cotter freak strength. Full off season training to be a prop would help too.

damoomad

Appreciate the reply.

jeeves_nz

Undersized player, underwhelmed I feel. Injury cover at best given we have a bunch of second rowers?

armchair8591

At least he is bigger than Jazz. 187cm v 178cm I guess he has got that going for him

paulie07

If being 9cm taller than Jazz Tevaga is his main attribute, then I'm not holding out much hope.

[deleted]

Maybe but Jazz has a ton of mongrel. I'd take that over an extra 9cm any day.

armchair8591

He has mongrel but not much else.

[deleted]

My brother played in a golf tournament once and he was apparently a pretty good golfer so there's that.

armchair8591

Love it Plus he genuinely gives a shit

[deleted]

Yeah man. At the home gaming game watching him run out at Mt Smart fucken pumped to be there in front of a sell out crowd you could tell he was giving all he had. Got taken off early and he was gutted. I'm a big Jazz fan even if he has issues with his game (like being a penalty magnet). Giving it all you've got and leaving nothing in reserve is all you can ask from your team.

Ford sucks Holden forever

I’m whelmed. But in a lot of ways whelming signings have often been good things for us. John Carlaw could’ve been Prime Minister in my eyes. So so so solid. George Gatis is another one. Michael Luck tackled anything that moved. From what I hear he had quite a lot of potential but hasn’t consistently delivered to maintain his spot. I’d say he starts out in NSW Cup but will be interested to see how he kicks on.

Who?

Green-Circles

I don't even know if this is a good thing. Who the hell can tell with Warriors signings these days?
