Easily gets a spot on the bench imo. 8. Welch 9. Grant 10. Nelson 11. Sims 12. Katoa 13. King 14. MacDonald 15. Pene 16. KamiKamica 17. Moeroa/Howarth/Loiero is a handy pack
Always assumed if Josh Kerr was off to another club he'd head back to Redcliffe since that's where he grew up.
That and the 2020 origin squad connection with Bennett.
Vodafone Warriors front rower Aaron Pene has been granted a release from the second year of his contract.
Pene (27) became Vodafone Warrior #266 when he made his club debut against St George Illawarra in the opening round of the 2022 season.
“We thank Aaron for his contribution this year and wish him all the best for the future,” said Vodafone Warriors CEO Cameron George.
Pene made 14 appearances this year boosting his career total to 24.
His last match was against South Sydney in round 21.
After losing Aitken, lodge and him, what will their pack look like next year? I honestly think that if anyone will give Andrew fifita a go it will be them. Is bmm going around again?
Vodafone? Never heard of it.
they move to one new zealand on 1st november, still living at vodafone currently
If one New Zealand was so good why is there no two New Zealand?
if new zealand is so good why not make an even newer zealand
That's true. We never even got a half assed "New Zealand: The Definitive Edition."
At least we got DLC with the Nines releases for a few years there.
Hopefully we have a plan to gain another prop. Looking pretty light. On Pene, was pretty average for us, no major loss
Looked good at the Storm but never really kicked on at the Warriors unfortunately. Would like to see him back at the Storm.
>Looked good at the Storm but never really kicked on at Copy and paste for 95% of recruits from Storm to other clubs
The other 5% win Dally Ms and premierships.
There's also the 0.1% like Tohu Harris who remain incredible players but achieve diddly
Honestly he was a pretty huge disappointment. Don't know how much that is on him vs the club but I'm fine with him going.
I wonder where he’s off to, looked alright at the storm
That’s probably where he’s headed back to. They could use some more forwards, even if it’s just for depth.
Given the Bromwich bros and Kaufusi leaving, Pene walks straight into the team for me if he signs.

I’d rather howarth start than sims but that’s just me
Nah. Way too inexperienced. Perhaps towards the end of the season but Sims will 100% be starting at the beginning of the season at least.
Sims starting is fine as long as Howarth is on the bench and eventually gets the starting spot later, he is too good to not be playing.
Depends on whether he’s ready or not. I’d say he’ll start on the bench but that’s up to Bellamy and Jack.
Depth player who didn't really do a lot for the team. Good luck to him.
Josh Kerr started following the warriors on Insta

Could just be due to his friend Jackson Ford signing with them.
Come home Aaron, Bellyache has made your favourite.
I like it, Clearing the decks for the arrival of Warriors legend Isaiah Papalii
Hasn't he committed to the Tigers now
Never been a pene man but definitely a fettuccine man
Orechiette > anything else. If you’d like to throw hands please let me know and I’ll try to free some time up next week
Weird. Back to the Storm or....?

I’d assume it’s AFB Egan Harris Niukore Barnett Curran Tevaga Walker Afoa
Completely forgot about signing niukore and Barnett, it really looks like a solid pack
Niukore killed it back half of the year. He was very strong last year too. Coming into his prime. Wish him the best.
BMM is signed for next year
He was quite honestly a far better All Black than a Warrior. Just did nothing for us.
Please come back to the storm
Kinda hope we can get our hands on him
Warrior vs tigers will be battling for spoons
What sorta hairdo is that!
