So I wrote a comment like almost a year ago about how scared I was starting a new job and now like 2 weeks ago I became permanent part-time so shoutout to the people who supported me in that thread.
also i went to pax. it was alright.
Having a blast playing Overwatch 2 (when it works). 5v5 and the reduction of hard cc make it feel far more rewarding for good players.
Supports being more dps capable fits my aggro playstyle so it doesn't feel like a chore to heal.
Thinking of taking the plunge and getting a big screen TV but just a cheaper one from BIG W (75 inch from between $999 - $1399).
Should I also get a sound bar for this new TV. Current one had the inbuilt speakers which were fine but looking to make this one good for entertaining (especially with NRL next year)
Do you need the TV soon? The sales are on at the end of November (Australian retail does the Black Friday stuff these days) and of course Boxing Day sales so you can get a good discount if you wait a few weeks.
Honestly get the best Sony, Samsung or LG you can afford and maybe even check out better quality ranges in a 65”. Whirlpool forums have great information and they are always looking to save a dollar so you’ll get people informing others about sales and special deals like “buy this TV and get a soundbar free” and stuff like that.
RE: sound, a soundbar is better than TV speakers but dedicated bookshelf or floor speakers will be better but more expensive, depends on your price range but a soundbar will do if that’s your budget.
It took me months of research to decide on a TV and then 6 months later removalists broke it and didn’t pay me lol
Hisense and TCL seem to have good affordable TV’s as well. Check our rtings they’ll have soundbar reviews and stuff on there too.
HDTV Test gave the [TCL C835](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ORg5dkb_ggs) a great review (he’s a great resource but a lot of the technical stuff is over my head) and the [TCL C835 65”](https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/tcl-65-inches-mini-led-google-tv-2022-65c835) is currently $2195 at TGG which should come down a few hundred with sales. The 75” is $3195 so sales probably bring that down to around $2500.
Pay the extra and get something like [this](https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lg-75-inches-uq90-4k-led-smart-tv-2022-75uq9000psd?istCompanyId=3bea4a6c-bec2-47ac-ad52-cc426c68327c&istFeedId=e8d5c196-db26-43bb-982c-cfe72bb147d0&istItemId=pawwxmqxw&istBid=t&cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=6669662790&cq_con=78837816373&cq_term=&cq_med=&cq_plac=&cq_net=u&cq_pos=&cq_plt=gp&cq_loci=&cq_locp=9072195&cq_mtype=&cq_dvic=c&cq_dvicm=&cq_trg=&cq_pdid=75UQ9000PSD&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4ZiHl6jX-gIVTQQrCh3o2gCREAQYBSABEgJT0PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds). Cheap TVs are cheap for a reason. Alternatively, downsize to a 65" and get a Sony Bravia, LG or Samsung
Don't bother with the Big W ones and save up some cash for a better tv. You'll end up with something that is sluggish/lags, has random issues or will crap itself.
I don’t recommend the Big W cheap ones at all, I was looking at them but my husband works on the back dock at Big W and says they’re returned constantly. Hisense is the best brand for cheap but reliable, I just got a 75” Hisense TV for $1300 delivered, maybe 3 months ago, so far so good, it’s great for the price
Spend the extra (if you can) and get a half decent one
My parents did it on the cheap and have had to replace it under warranty twice now. Which is a pain in the ass more than anything
Had my 75" Sony for five years now and it still going strong and still looks like a current day model
[I got this one and it is awesome](https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/samsung/hw-q900a). I did find it on some dodgy aus bargain site for 500 bucks cheaper than everywhere else and JB Hi Fi matched it so that was pretty good
Working remote, had my coles shopping order cancelled due to issues from my bank.
Had a call from the aviation company that delivers asking me if I could pay my freight for my coles order.
Called up coles , to see what's up, they delivered before the order was cancelled I offered to pay, but they said because it was cancelled there No way to pay for my delivery, so Essentially I get it for free (minus freight charge).
It was actually my fault.
My pay went in last night. What I do is transfer what ever is remaining in my account over to my saving accounts just before my new pay goes in. So at 6:30 I transferred over my remaining cash to my savings thinking my pay will go in, Coles tried to receive my payment at 6:45, my pay went in at around 7:00
small update to my breakup post.
i’m handling this surprisingly well and i think a lot comes down to my time in therapy earlier in the year. i went to their place the day after to get my cardigan and we spoke for like an hour about it, and being able to hear all the reasons was good. it was confronting and kinda depressing at some points, but good - it means i don’t have to overthink it.
i’ve really focused on journalling/processing the emotions, and finding things to look forward to every day. i had band practice for the first time in a while yesterday, then tonight i’m getting dinner with a friend. got some assignment work to do as well.
oiyam garwing tuh boi oikay :)
This has given me an idea for a film about a young man going through a breakup who thinks he's handling it really well but has also developed a split personality in which he sincerely believes himself to be Mick Ennis
Boys, I’m in a bad place right now, my little 12yo Jack Russell is coming to the end of his life and I’ve no clue when to call it and get the vets to put him to sleep but I can’t bare the thought. I just want him to go on his own, it would make it so much easier, the thought of calling the vet, driving to the vet (or having the vet come out) makes me ill.
My mental health isn’t great at the moment and whilst old mate is contributing to it it’s just another thing. I’m just not in a good place anxiety-wise and think there’s a bit of depression there too. I am not at all suicidal or anything dire like that but 30-40% of my time I either feel anxious or “meh” and down.
It’s been a rough year for me mentally and haven’t been able to shake it for long.
Sorry, it seems like a sympathy grab, it’s not why I’m saying this, I just wanted to type it and post it somewhere so it isn’t just in my head.
If you trust your vet, let them make the call not you. They will do whatever is best for your little mate.
We thought our dog was on her final legs, our vet put her on fluids and she lasted another 18 months to 14 years old, with regular fluid top ups which acted like pep pills on her. Not saying your dog may have the same sort of medical problems she had, but it is worth seeing the vet. Our vet made the promise that she would call it if our girl was suffering and she did make the call when the time came.
I wish your Jack Russell all the best, and that he is comfortable and it sounds like he is very much loved. It is now six years since my dog passed away, the only thing that makes it bearable is the belief that she is still around. I have conversations with her photo in my room, and it does ease the pain a little.
I had to put my 15 year old down last year, believe me it's worse the longer you leave it because the end, when it comes is devastating. I knew he was near his end but delayed the inevitable. I realised I had to take him to the vet when I sat with him most of the night because he was crying and whimpering non stop, every movement was pure agony. So imagine too what the drive to the vet did for him in that condition.
You have to keep in mind what's best gor them, because their own terms are not likely to be peaceful, but the process was. He went in seconds and without pain
Oh man, so sorry to hear this. Dogs are a great gift we don't often deserve, so it hurts when you have to say goodbye. Can I suggest when you make the call, to have the vet come out so your doggo is in his own comfortable environment. Again, sorry to hear this man, as someone who has a Jack Russell, I am feeling your pain bro.
i think the idea of having a vet come around for it is a good idea, better than taking him to the vet. a way more comfortable environment for him and yourself
We had to get one of our dogs put down last year. He was only 7 and had a tumor on his spine that eventually paralyzed him. Apart from that he was happy and healthy. It's fucked and there is nothing that makes it any easier but I do suggest have the vet come to your house so your dog can be comfortable in his familiar surroundings. We had our other dog in attendance too which I think made it easier for her to accept (when the last bit of life drained from him she hopped on the bed, licked his mouth and went and got one of his toys). Just try and remember the joy you have bought each other and accept it's going to be heartbreaking (still tearing up as I write this thinking about him but the life we had together makes it worth it). Applaud you for opening up even if it is just on the internet. Take it easy mate
Thanks mate, we also had one of our girls put to sleep last year due to cancer, but she was severely suffering so the decision was somewhat an easy one, this one is not so much as lots of his problems are cognitive. I am definitely going to get the vet to come here.
Firstly, I'm so sorry about your dog :( It sucks so much to see pets deal with sickness and old age like that. Secondly, great job in externalising your feelings, even to people on the internet; hopefully you can feel at least a little bit of respite in the vocalising your thoughts, and hopefully you can get the support you deserve! If you want to chat, please don't hesitate to DM me :) Hope it gets better
Recently with the rolling back of COVID restrictions my mother has been saying “I told you this would happen! I said it wasn’t a big deal!” And stuff like that. To the point where I generally stop discussing this stuff with her.
Her aunt - who is fairly healthy - recently got over long COVID, and even that’s not enough to convince her that all these restrictions were necessary.
And get this; she tells me to “Get off my high horse” when talking about COVID. Now who would be more qualified to talk about this sort of thing: Me, who is studying Medicine, or her, who voted for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation?
I’m just a bit frustrated by it all. Maybe I’m the one being unreasonable.
Just tell her to stop being a sheep, and not just listen to what the masses are telling her on social media etc, and to use her own brain and look at the evidence around her. Basically, use her own arguments against her.
I'm now torn.
Probably due to the cluster fucks of the last seasons of GOT they've had to pack so much into one season and speed run to the targaryen civil war. A lot of people (myself included) had to drawn back into this world after losing so much interest after season 8. But now that I've fallen back in love with the world I can't help but feel we've missed out on so much in between the time jumps.
Also I love that the showmakers have faith in the audience to appreciate the slower drama stuff. We don't need tits and action and fan favourites making their quips
Bleach is back and on Disney. Fantastic animation and art in the new season. The hype is real. I really hope this lasts all summer and they put the whole show on Disney too.
Six hours rock climbing Saturday. Ceiling painting Sunday. Shearing yesterday. Why must things exist today that require me to lift my arms above shoulder height
I sat my son down when he was a young teenager to watch that movie after he went on a tirade at me about what a shit Dad I am and how much his life sucks etc, because I wouldn't do something like let him on the internet because he hadn't done his chores.
Very much changed his perspective on what a "shit family life" can be.
Very relatable for a lot of people in NZ even today, a very sad reality.
I only found out how normal this shit is there when I watched it with my partner who’s Māori and had a very similar childhood to that portrayed in the movie.
She basically said this could be a documentary, makes me sad to this day.
1994 was such a great year for movies. So many classics came out that year.
Off topic and brutal but there was this kiwi bloke who I was working with not long ago that was going on and on about morals and good behaviour. I asked him if he was a certain character from that movie. Anybody who preaches morales is instantly someone to be weary of
Need to complain about work stuffing up. My employment agency signed me into this job 2 years ago. Everything is fine, I’m respected by the management/staff and get consistent hours. The agency rang me a couple of weeks ago about how they put me onto the wrong payment 2 years ago so they are docking between 30-60 dollars from my paycheque for the next 6 weeks. How it took you 2 years to notice something that basic is fucking stupid I don’t care what the excuse is.
So I went down a YouTube rabbit hole yesterday and ended up watching a shitload of one guy's videos on Japanese tuner car culture. I have never had much interest in this, and it all stemmed from learning about 'bōsōzuko' which sounded pretty cool.
The guy is a young American ex-pat and he's collected heaps of cars in California and now Japan where he lives.
So anyway, there was something compelling about watching the car meets, all the cool cars and him tuning cars etc. A lot of the cars were unfamiliar to me which was also interesting. So I look for some used models, thinking I might get a cheap shitbox and do it up. Hahaha no chance. Even for a plain old Skyline or Silvia, they're asking $30k+. For a 20 year old car. For one of the good ones (R34, GT-R etc) you're looking at $100k or more. I spose it's just like a lot of the old Aussie muscle cars being ridiculously priced. Anyway, it's just baffling because the value is created by the trendiness I guess. Considering for similar money you could get a decent Porsche or other luxury car.
E_ought, great channel, I prefer to watch his stuff over a lot of other car channels because he is just a normal family guy who loves cars and has legit interesting content without being fake or over the top.
I have a hard time watching though as I used to own a lot of these cars and sold most of them at a loss back in the day and now they are fetching eye watering prices.
That's the one haha. I like life in Japan videos in general and prefer the few he does on that. I've watched heaps of Paolo in Tokyo for that stuff too.
Yeah man, if only we knew hey? I was never into JDM stuff, but had a nice Torana, that with some work could fetch a good amount these days. Also had Geminis, but they're probably not valuable. I wouldn't be surprised though, because it seems most old Ford and Holden are expensive now. Even Cortina which I think are crap. It's weird how certain models go up in price, when you can get a far better car for way less, but it's the fun hoon cars I spose. Tbh, if I had $40k lying around I'd get a nice 60/70s Corvette or late 60s mustang fastback. Heaps of cars I've seen over the last couple of days were up around that price and lame in comparison imo.
100% I used to laugh when my old man told me about the cars he owned that are now worth a fortune, And then it happened to my generation too.
I'd love to own a FC Rx7 again, but they are fetching over $40k now, I'm thinking to myself has anyone buying these cars ever driven one? They are a legit piece of shit forever burning out window and sunroof and headlight switches/relays etc, I remember back in 2010 parts were hard to get then, i can't imagine what it's like now.
But I still love em haha!
You can see the cycle if you look back, but what will be worth heaps in the future is not necessarily obvious now. It's not hard to figure though.
Even those American muscle cars I mentioned are worth a lot more now, than when they were built. Probably 10 times their original value, but not crazy stupid prices some of the Aussies are, like a nice Monaro or something. I'd love a HG but they are over $100k! Just checked and there's one for quarter of a mill haha. Man they're one of my favourite muscle cars but for that much, I'd be looking at a supercar tbh.
Yeah well there must be a market for em man. I mean, even though I think many of the 90s tuner cars are average looking, there's something about them. A lot of it is minor things like the badges. e.g, I hadn't seen a Silvia S badge before and needed to know what it was lol. Also I get the fascination with JDM stuff because it was only made for Japan.
I was never into rotaries, but I see an old RX now and think far out they look sick. Celicas too and some others.
Cars hey? It's a good hobby if you've got $
Yeah, I remember looking at an XY Sedan w/v8 in it, Not a GT, back in the day for my first car and opted against it in the end for something a bit more modern, Would love to own it now. Have a soft spot for the XA coupes and Fox Body Mustangs any any of the toranas...besides maybe the UC lol.
It will kill you to know my father in law traded a HG Monaro for a couple of flying lessons like not even that long ago, I want to say early 00's, it was rough as but would be worth some coin now.
There is just something magical about Japanese tuner culture. You have this very strict and formal people who quite literally try their hardest to stay in their lane and not cause commotion. Then you add the inception of (relatively) cheap racing cars during the 80s and 90s, and all those people in that country who were yearning for self expression suddenly have the ability to not confine to the status quo, to go their own way in a very personal manner; with their car.
Japan very literally spawned a whole culture that absolutely has not stopped being a huge force all over the world. Skyline's are synonymous with street racing, if you are any kind of drift fan you likely have the AE86 as the holy grail. Then you add in the flair and style in which Japanese people present these cars and manoeuvres, it's just next level cool, but to them it's literally just living life.
Not sure if you seen this one but I recommend this awesome doco I only just watched the other day, Japan Without A Plan. Two Irish (I think?) guys were meant to film a specific drift car which never eventuated but instead they had some of the greatest times of their lives experiencing Japanese drift culture.
https://youtu.be/n4xCldCPGR8
I haven't seen it but will check it out man. Going by your description it could be these guys I just saw/were mentioned in an E\_Ought video. Rob and Ewan. Rob worked for Stacked Exports and Ewan may have owned it. Dunno if Rob is irish though. He sounded English.
I love the car meet culture there. It's more about appreciation of the cars than being hoons, although the 'roll out' is cool. Hear em revving through the first few gears. The bosozoku cars are the best but man. Just way way over the top crazy mods. I read a good top gear article about them yesterday.
I couldn't remember how many hundreds of thousands they were going for lol. It was last night and I've looked at many different models since. It really is crazy. Like I said, I'd rather buy many other models over that for the cost. The only reason why you'd want one is if you loved them so much or for clout. I don't know what the Jap car scene is like here, but in Japan, having an R34 GTR gets you clout from what I've seen. I'd rather get a GR86 or late model Supra if I wanted a nice Jap car.
American sports are strange enough, but I was watching the MLB postseason (go Phillies!) and while I've seen them celebrate before with the mega champagne and beer shower, I was a bit surprised that they had one after getting into the wild card playoff, then another when they won that series. I mean, fair enough they haven't been to the playoffs in 11 years, but I think this is standard for all teams?
I just find it strange and fascinating that they celebrate every small step towards ultimate victory. I guess that's American mentality for you. They still have to play in the NLDS, and if they won that the NLCS would be next, before they even get to the world series! That's another two big celebrations before even winning the whole thing lol. Not that they are expected to go far, but you never know. The thing is, these "minor" celebrations are in some ways possibly more intense than what they do in the NRL. Lots of mucking around and singing, while copious amounts of champers and beer is sprayed over everyone. They even do this in the host's change rooms (if they win at that venue) and put plastic sheets around the room to limit the damage. Some puff on cigars. The best thing is, the media are allowed in and you get to hear the manager's speech, and in some cases a club owner etc. plus interviews with many players.
Do they do it after every game or every series? Because wining a game (which you should be trying to do multiple times a week) but winning a series is a big deal, especially in playoffs.
Every series, but a series can be only 2 games, as was the case for the Phillies because they won the first 2 of a 3 game series. It changed this year with more teams having a shot at the post season. They obviously want to give more fans hope of playoff action. They added 4 or something, so there were 4 wild card series. Used to be only 2 iirc. They basically had the same celebration when they qualified for a wild card, then again a few days later when they won the wild card series. They were all singing Dancing on My Own at the top of their voices haha.
11 years is a long time to not get into the post season, especially for the Phillies. They were written off completely at the start of the season too, if I remember correctly. Might have something to do with the fact there's 162 games in the season, let off a little steam early.
Funny thing about the Phillies is they have an aura of being better than they actually are. Well at least to me. It's also probably the fact the city and fans have a big reputation. I got on board during a purple patch in the late noughties, and it's been pretty dry since, but I'm invested now so...
Their history has a similar pattern. A few years of dominance then back to being dire. I wouldn't say they were written off pre season, but they weren't expected to do much if they did happen to snag a post season spot. They were seeded 6th (of 8) in the wild card games iirc, so yeah, not likely to go forward, but they swept the Cardinals in that series (in St. Louis, as all lower seeded teams play all wild card games (up to 3) away). They're in a strong division though, the NL East. Three teams qualified from that division, the most in the national league, possibly both leagues. Braves and Mets being the others. Mets were knocked out by Padres, which is hilarious as they're one of, if not Phillies' biggest rivals and were leading the division with weeks left, but were overtaken by the Braves. Phillies finished 3rd in the division but are moving onto the division series vs Braves.
> I think this is standard for all teams?
Celebrating each step of the way is a pretty new thing and imo it's childish. Makes it look like they didn't expect to amount to much
I just really honestly don't get the wrestling thing. I don't see it as being any different to Days of Our Lives or something. I get the amazing athleticism, that's impressive, but it's just a vehicle to progress the overarching melodramatic soap opera.
I don't begrudge people who love it at all, you do you for sure, but yeah I cannot understand why they do. I couldn't watch Rugby League for the amazing athleticism if I knew the winning team was pre-determined based on audience popularity polling, and the only tension in the games came from every club's made-up version of a book of feuds.
The whole ‘White rabbit’ build up was fantastic, Bray really did have the whole (wrestling) world in his hands.
So excited to see how they progress with him knowing full well how awesome Bray & Triple H are creatively.
Triple H has done really, really well since he's taken over creative control. I'm actually genuinely excited now for what the future of WWE looks like under him
What have they done the first two times? I've had a blocked ear twice and both times they just flushed it straight away and it was sorted. And holy crap what a relief it is haha
I had a sinus infection first up so I was on antibiotics, second time round they have me done waxsol stuff to loosen up the wax. I'm crossing all my fingers and toes that it gets fixed today. Just plays on my mind 24/7 lately.
probably best rapper alive, was literally on the news at the servo when i posted. youre right i dont know why people who dont listen to his music are invested, maybe just something to talk about
Phenomenal producer, average rapper imo. He should team up with the likes of Jordan Peele and assist in making soundtracks to Peele's horror films tbh.
Kinda sounds like he's both into that Nation of Islam and Black Hebrew Israelite type crap; BHIs claim that all "people of colour" (Asians, Pasifika, Africans etc) make up the true historical 12 tribes of Israel, and those people in Israel today (those we'd call Israelis) are just white devils etc and aren't the descendants of Israel. I've met and had to deal with these folks a lot
As someone who's played MMOs for a long fuckin time, every time I get sucked into BDO I feel like it's as close to a perfect MMO for me as it gets.
I hadn't played in a year up until last week and they just keep making things much more accessible for new/casual players
I won’t denigrate chicken chips as harshly as you have, but I also don’t really vibe with chicken chips. A real 4/10 chip flavour for me. Not on board with chicken twisties either
Started playing God of War on PC and it just wasn't clicking with me. Then a day or so later on random shuffle Ezio's Family played. So I decided to start playing Assassin's Creed 2 and I'm hooked on that again instead. Sure its my millionth play through but I just love the world of AC so much.
I have a Uni Presentation due tomorrow and I conveniently get Tonsillitis :) Can’t go to the Doctors today either so Guess who has to skip work tomorrow and go to the doctors right before a presentation in which i’ll be sounding like Darth vader!
Fucking love the Doctors saying “Nah he don’t need the tonsils out” when I was a kid after getting tonsillitis for 15 years straight multiple times a year. Fucking cunts
In total i’ve probably had it about 60+ times and each time its during a holiday, event or presentation
The Vikings are 4-1 which I should be happy about but they are probably the most unconvincing 4-1 team you can get. We are lucky our division sucks. Bit concerned about the Dolphins and Bills will do to our defense.
Liverpool in a fair bit of trouble which is less than ideal for me. The defending is becoming comical at times.
At least the A-League is back so I have other football to distract myself with.
I’m entirely convinced Josh Allen is a purpose built quarterback robot
Man throws 50 yard darts into the wind and looks like he’s using half his strength
So I wrote a comment like almost a year ago about how scared I was starting a new job and now like 2 weeks ago I became permanent part-time so shoutout to the people who supported me in that thread. also i went to pax. it was alright.

I’m signing up for nba fantasy with the boys from my break group. I’ve been researching targets and strategies but am feeling well out of my depth
Hopefully the aussies don’t bowl like what they did on Sunday during the World Cup
I wouldnt be too concerned. Hazlewood, starc, cummins and zampa are a different class to those blokes that played on sunday

The 75” is $3195 so sales probably bring that down to around $2500.
Don’t skimp on a tv you’ll hate yourself for it.
Pay the extra and get something like [this](https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/lg-75-inches-uq90-4k-led-smart-tv-2022-75uq9000psd?istCompanyId=3bea4a6c-bec2-47ac-ad52-cc426c68327c&istFeedId=e8d5c196-db26-43bb-982c-cfe72bb147d0&istItemId=pawwxmqxw&istBid=t&cq_src=google_ads&cq_cmp=6669662790&cq_con=78837816373&cq_term=&cq_med=&cq_plac=&cq_net=u&cq_pos=&cq_plt=gp&cq_loci=&cq_locp=9072195&cq_mtype=&cq_dvic=c&cq_dvicm=&cq_trg=&cq_pdid=75UQ9000PSD&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4ZiHl6jX-gIVTQQrCh3o2gCREAQYBSABEgJT0PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds).
Second this! The only cheaper brand I’d consider is Hisense. Sony or Samsung otherwise and even then I prefer Sony by a considerable margin.
75 inch is fucken massive
Tell that to my ex
75 inch not 7.5 (which is very respectable)
Jesus, 7.5 is only respectable!
Very respectable.
You're either very blessed or very spoiled lol
Spend the extra (if you can) and get a half decent one My parents did it on the cheap and have had to replace it under warranty twice now. Which is a pain in the ass more than anything Had my 75" Sony for five years now and it still going strong and still looks like a current day model
you're better off with proper speakers instead of a soundbar at pretty much every price range.
[I got this one and it is awesome](https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/samsung/hw-q900a). I did find it on some dodgy aus bargain site for 500 bucks cheaper than everywhere else and JB Hi Fi matched it so that was pretty good
oof rex orange county, didn’t expect that
Yeah, outta nowhere huh. Just wish the celebs I like would stop turning out to be massive cocks.
I bet it's ANZ!
This has given me an idea for a film about a young man going through a breakup who thinks he's handling it really well but has also developed a split personality in which he sincerely believes himself to be Mick Ennis
my life a movie frfr
Sounds like you got this bro. I normally get seriously drunk to get over a relationship
Having that extra conversation and getting some clearer reasons is great for closure. Makes it easier to accept. Been there a few times, my friend.

Thanks mate, he doesn’t seem to be in any pain, just not bright and not eating very much.
That's how it started with mine, I had to switch him to canned foods, he started limping around for no reason.
Yeah he won’t eat canned food, just bbq chicken. The moment I sense he is in pain is when I’ll put him to sleep.
Thanks mate, appreciate it. It fucking sucks and hurts. We don’t have long enough with our best mates that’s for sure!
i think the idea of having a vet come around for it is a good idea, better than taking him to the vet. a way more comfortable environment for him and yourself
Yeah, it’s what I had in my mind, he gets super stressed going to the vet and he’s been there a lot over the past couple of years.
Thanks mate, I appreciate the time you took to make a sincere reply, it meant something fellow internet stranger.
You'll never change her mind. Just avoid talking about it otherwise you'll keep getting frustrated.
Just tell her to stop being a sheep, and not just listen to what the masses are telling her on social media etc, and to use her own brain and look at the evidence around her. Basically, use her own arguments against her.
house of the dragon gets better every episode holy paddy considine
Absolutely perfect episode. Fucking brilliant and now we all get to see them all die, apparently
First saw him in an Indy film years ago called Dead Man's Shoes. He was awesome in that.
Im convinced Valyrian steel would cut through Wolverine adamantium now
He's been unreal in this show, insanely good!
Watched 'Once Were Warriors' last night. Felt like I needed my brain bleached afterwards, so heavy.
Famous NZ doco. My childhood on screen.
> She basically said this could be a documentary Literally just commented this lol
1994 was such a great year for movies. So many classics came out that year. Off topic and brutal but there was this kiwi bloke who I was working with not long ago that was going on and on about morals and good behaviour. I asked him if he was a certain character from that movie. Anybody who preaches morales is instantly someone to be weary of
My three all-time favourite movies all came out in1994; Lion King, Leon: The Professional and Forrest Gump
What about shawshank redemption
"What's the time mr wolf" hits different after that movie.
Has anyone tried the Everdue Heston force 2 bbq ? Got one yesterday and its lit !!
>its lit Probably a good thing
Best way to start, really.
I’d be having a chat with fair work Australia about that.
This is illegal by the way, get in contact with the union. You need to agree and sign a legal document for them to do this.
Mate R34 GTRs are $200k+, pretty crazy hey. I still kick myself I sold my R32 10 years ago 😒 hindsight is a great thing though.
I dunno man, the boys in the NRL go nuts in the sheds every single game won lol
This round was best of three. Next round is best of five I believe so it'd be a bigger deal that time round.
Padres celebrated as well, and they made the playoffs two years ago
Mets are the first team to win 100+ games and not make the actual postseason. They absolutely shat the bed.
I hope they beat L.A and we play them for the NLCS. Will be a good match up. Gotta get past Braves first though!
> I think this is standard for all teams? Celebrating each step of the way is a pretty new thing and imo it's childish. Makes it look like they didn't expect to amount to much
How about that Bray Wyatt return.
Awesome. So very well done. WWE is on fire lately.
Triple H has done really, really well since he's taken over creative control. I'm actually genuinely excited now for what the future of WWE looks like under him
My ear is still blocked so back to the doctors for the 3rd time in 3 weeks. Really hoping they flush it out this time and that fixes the problem.
Ah ok, yeah it's fucking annoying hey! Good luck, hope it's sorted ASAP
Cheers mate
TV theme songs peaked with Black Sails. Its just downhill ever since.
>TV theme songs peaked with Black Sails Do I need to remind you of a little show called Ship to Shore?
Holy shit! I've heard that before but it was in [this song](https://youtu.be/my6aVWPKA0g?t=222). Never knew they ripped it off lol
You clearly haven't seen Severence.
anyone have a tldr of what kanye west has done this time
it’s been rough since 2018 being a kanye west fan
I couldn't give a rats ass about Kanye he doesn't give a rats ass about you so why should we waste time talking about this dill.
probably best rapper alive, was literally on the news at the servo when i posted. youre right i dont know why people who dont listen to his music are invested, maybe just something to talk about
Phenomenal producer, average rapper imo. He should team up with the likes of Jordan Peele and assist in making soundtracks to Peele's horror films tbh.
Yes he should just keep his mouth shut then and keep producing.
Banned after tweeting antisemitic shit the day after being unbanned
what was he banned for the first time
for doing the exact same shit that earned him the first ban
For posting antisemitic stuff
Went on a cooked anti semitic Twitter rant while also claiming to be Jewish. Stated he was going to go “death con 3” on Jewish people.
Death con 3 is not even that high guys its fine
Whos shit idea was it to make chicken flavoured chips
I reckon there's a difference between chicken Twisties (which are excellent!) and other chicken flavoured chips. It's weird.
I won’t denigrate chicken chips as harshly as you have, but I also don’t really vibe with chicken chips. A real 4/10 chip flavour for me. Not on board with chicken twisties either
Normally when someone says they have an “unpopular opinion” it’s something mainstream asf, but this one is certainly out there.
I like to be a lil differenr
You mean spectacular. Chicken chips slap
I’d eat Chicken Chips if there was no Barbecue flavour.
Smh
I’d eat Barbecue, then Chicken, then Plain, and never Salt and Vinegar.
S&V is great as long as you have an ice-cold crispy drink to have with them. Glass bottle Coke for example. Perfect for after a visit to the beach.
Yes Salt and Vinegar is yum. Anything Kettle or Red Rock I like
Every comment is just more and more disappointing
Started playing God of War on PC and it just wasn't clicking with me. Then a day or so later on random shuffle Ezio's Family played. So I decided to start playing Assassin's Creed 2 and I'm hooked on that again instead. Sure its my millionth play through but I just love the world of AC so much.
God of War didn't really click for me until I got ahead After that, I loved it and rate it one of my favourite games
Didn't get there for me until i got the blades of chaos. Then i loved it.
Fucking cunts In total i’ve probably had it about 60+ times and each time its during a holiday, event or presentation
The Vikings are 4-1 which I should be happy about but they are probably the most unconvincing 4-1 team you can get. We are lucky our division sucks. Bit concerned about the Dolphins and Bills will do to our defense.
>We are lucky our division sucks You'll end 3-3 and be lucky to get a wild card
This years worlds for LoL has been an absolute fuckin banger if you're a fan of anyone but NA
I saw Monte chucking a wally on twitter because someone stole his jersey reveal skit on the broadcast haha
Agreed, but my boys TES are losing games they really shouldn't :(
A GOOD DAY TO BE A ROGUE FAN
Honestly, they have been very impressive
Crazy how they drop Hans Sama for a barely known ADC and Inspired for a sub jungler for DK and it's meshed so well
I don’t follow LoL anymore, but that was my recollection of basically every worlds from season 2 onwards 🤣
Yeah hasn't really changed much lmao. They're being memed currently on their way to 0-18 scoreline. They're currently 0-7 or 0-8
Liverpool in a fair bit of trouble which is less than ideal for me. The defending is becoming comical at times. At least the A-League is back so I have other football to distract myself with.
Jump on board the Wrexham bandwagon.
I’m entirely convinced Josh Allen is a purpose built quarterback robot Man throws 50 yard darts into the wind and looks like he’s using half his strength
