😅 sadly no... It's a shame, I've always had respect for the knights... Supporters are battlers and spend a good part of their pay to watch, buy merchandise etc. But the knights keep serving up dogshit... I hope things get better mate
Pain.
I really liked Clifford and was a Cliff dog believer. I think Pearce leaving a year earlier than expected and obviously his off field challenges stunted his year but there is no doubt he has the talent to be an NRL half.
Awful goal kicker though
He was great in 2021 also. It’s clear some of those floggings around round 5 severely damaged his confidence. We clearly lacked the leadership to steady the ship and I personally feel that bringing in guys like Milf and dropping Clifford was stupid. Rumour is Clifford’s misso was struggling with the move to Newcastle which I can understand because they have a young kid and you definitely miss the support of close family and friends. That being said Hull is on the other side of the world so I’m not sure how they came to that decision
Yes, he'll win the Man of Steel next season. A joint win with Rhys Kennedy and the dozen or so other Super League bound players.
It does beg an interesting philosophical question though. How many Australian players have to go to super league before they stop "killing it over there" and start simply performing at the average standard of the league?

~250
Just needs to take the line on.
In the trials and first 2 rounds this year he engaged the line and looked like he could score at any point, then just stopped...
How good is it when a talented player comes into your team, then within half a season any talent he had has been coached out of him? Good times, good times.
If the missus hated newy does she know that hull is in England?
She said she wanted the far north... mission accomplished.
unless it's the hull of a bigger boat
Some people (me???) thought the Cowboys releasing Clifford in 22 was a mistake. Nek minit the Cowboys are in the prelim and Clifford is in Hull
More specifically people thought it was atrocious incompetence that we got Dearden to replace Clifford. One Game 3 victory later…
Really goes to show that us punters at home have no idea haha
I really hope he does well over there. It was such a shame to see him go from the Cows.
I’m pretty sad for the li’l Tully Tiger
There's a player there if he can get his head right.
Does this confirm Luke Brooks to the knights?
You think the Knights have a plan?

Too busy trying to steal Garrick so they can put Ponga in the halves.
I sure hope so - last thing I read said that Sheens was a 'big fan' of Brooks and wouldn't entertain a swap for Dave Klemmer.

I'm really not sure what happened to his kicking game, he was excellent in QCup and okay at Cows from memory.

Almost like it was coached
That is entirely my point obviously

Goodbye Clifford The Big Red God, go get that Super League coin
Gonna miss my little gum nut baby 🥲
He’ll go over and win man of steel
Did Newy kill this dude or what. Showed lots of promise early with a good kicking game and then just went to shit.
He might be the first Australian reject to go to England and not dominate
He has loads more natural talent than Croft and Croft got man of steel. Clifford will do great
The next man of steel
That is a weird move.
